  1. 2012 has been a year filled with mass shooting sprees. As tragic as the senseless murders of the innocent are, what is more tragic is the dialogue that has emerged in response to these petty atrocities committed by madmen. Both the mainstream political left and right (Democrats and Republicans) lack any sensible plans for protecting our citizens and ensuring the preservation of our basic American liberties in the 21st century. As much as the political left insists, the second amendment is not about hunting, it is about protecting us citizens from the tyranny of modern day Caesars and laws such as the Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 (and whatever fundamental rights such tyrants and their enablers decide to strip of us citizens next). The second amendment is what guarantees all other amendments, especially the first.

  3. In their blind attempt to make the masses safer, the political left is trying to make it feel dirty to own firearms and ostracize those who do. One act deserves particular attention. A reporter named Dwight R. Worley through his news agency, the Journal News, published the names and addresses of 44,000 individuals who live in Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties in New York State who own handguns. This doxing (releasing of personal information) has already put individuals who require handguns as a means of protection due to being part of witness protection programs. Now they are at risk for being found. More importantly, it has given a detailed map to thieves, rapists, murderers, and other miscellaneous criminals the addresses of all individuals who have no means to defend themselves against crime.

  5. Is this the stupidity we must deal with in this dialogue on the second amendment? Because all I’m seeing is plans to facilitate the actions of criminals, whether they be private or have a government badge. This stupidity cannot spread further like the cancer that it is. We need real solutions, and as long as this kind of thoughtless antics are the norm in this current discussion, we are doomed to take the path of tyranny. We the people must stop this before more individuals like Mr. Worley decide to facilitate the actions of criminals by making it absurdly convenient to see which addresses lack the protection of firearms.

  7. Our modest proposal to Mr. Worley’s thoughtless actions is to post flyers in these three counties that read:

  9. “Attention all thieves, rapists, murderers, and other criminals this is an important announcement! Are you tired of armed individuals making your occupation and/or hobby dangerous? Well this won’ t be a problem any longer! Luckily for you, a journalist named Dwight R. Worley published on the internet the addresses of 44,000 individuals with handguns in the Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam counties. This act of selfless generosity has made it easier for you to decide whom to rob, rape, and murder with a significantly decreased risk of being filled with hot lead. You are welcome and happy hunting.”

  11. Let’s make it clear that such stupidity will only be met with a mirror’s reflection. So act and change your world! Your life is short, so make it immortal!
