  1. >You bolt down the hallway as fast as you can wwith your metal leg
  2. >You had a slight lead on Celestia, you could hear her clopping hooves meeting the marble that lined the halls, different from the carpet in her study
  3. >"Anon, stop!"
  4. >You duck and turn left into an ajoining hallway simultaneously, as a green bolt of magic flies over where you head just was
  5. >Yeah, stopping sounds like a good idea
  6. >As you run, you notice a painting on the wall and rip it off its hook
  7. >You put the hook-string around your neck, so the painting covers your back like a pseudo-cape
  8. >As you near a T Intersection, (The hallway you're in being the leg of the T) Celestia rounds the bend and is at the opposite end of the hallway
  9. >You hear a crackle of energy and a *Whoosh*, then you're on your stomach
  10. >You were hit with what felt like three sledge hammers
  11. >The painting on your back smokes from the impact of the magic, and you get back to your feet
  12. >It still hangs around your neck, albeit less usefully now
  13. >You make a right at the T, so you aren't stuck going in circles
  14. >You take a second to marvel at ll the doors this hallway contains
  15. >Before you can pick a room to hide in, a hoof covers your mouth while another pulls you into a room
  16.
  17. >The lights are off in the room, the hoof still covers your mouth
  18. >The door clicks shut softly
  19. >A mysterious voice says
  20. >"Don't...make..a sound......"
  21. >You comply, and within thirty seconds, hear the clopping of Celestia's hooves gallop past the door
  22. >You smile at her screams of frustration when she realizes you've escaped
  23. >You stand their, in the dark with a hoof over your lips, for what seemed like hours
  24. >In reality it was about six minutes
  25. >Finally, the hoof removes itself, and you hear a click
  26. >Light floods the area, and you notice you're in a small supply closet
  27. >With none-other then Princess Luna herself
  28. >"We do not think what our sister was doing was right. We know not how helping you will harm this world or yours, but death is never the answer"
  29. >"Stay here until most of the guards have gone. Then do thoust best to sneak out"
  30. >She trots out of the closet, flicking the light off behind her, before you have a chance to thank her
  31. >You hear seconds later
  32. >"SISTER, WE HAVE SPOTTED THE MONKEY IN THE ROYAL HEDGE MAZE!"
  33. >You sit in the dark as you hear a flapping of wings, followed by quite a few pairs of hooves rumble down the hall, past the door, and off into the distance
  34. >After two minutes, you use you metal foot to push the door open
  35.
  36. >The hall is deserted
  37. >If this ever works out in your favor, you'll have to thank her properly
  38. >You walk over to a nearby window
  39. >You can see a yard, bordered by a low wall outside of it
  40. >Beyond that is a back alley in Canterlot, and you can't see any farther because of Canterlot buildings blocking your view
  41. >Deciding to take your chances in the streets of Canterlot, rather then trying to find your way back throught the maze of hallways and to the gates, you hop out the window and land in the grass three feet below
  42. >To a normal human, it was a jump a child could make effortlessly
  43. >But you had to land, all weight balancing on your good leg
  44. >Bad idea
  45. >Your ankle twists left, and you crumble
  46. >The dirt feels moist on your face...
  47. >You sit up, and roll your ankle around until the pain dulls to an irritating ache
  48. >You hobble-run over to the wall, and hop over
  49.
  50. >You walk hesistantly down the alley
  51. >You assume you're in some kind of shopping district, you can see shops on the opposite side of the road up ahead.
  52. >And you don't know whether word has reached the town that your wanted
  53. >You don't even know how you're wanted
  54. >You're not a cowboy on the steel horse you ride
  55. >And you're unsure whether you're wanted dead or alive
  56. >You peer around the corner, and observe
  57. >Ponies are walking around, doing their normal pony business
  58. >You look the other way
  59. >Shit!
  60. >A royal guard stands talking to a small group of ponys, a paper levitates magically next to him
  61. >The paper says in a cliche manner, WANTED
  62. >Your photo rests under the heading
  63. >Well fuck
  64. >You decide to bolt for it left on the street, away from the guard
  65. >If you could just get out of this city.....
  66.
  67. >You start to fast-walk down the road, head down, keeping to yourself
  68. >Not like its inconspicuous, you're a human for fucks sake!
  69. >Stunningly, you make it to the end of the road, and turn into another alley.
  70. >You're not quite sure where the hell you planned on going, but your thoughts are interrupted by a yell
  71. >"Anonymous"
  72. >You whip your head around, and are face to face with Rarity
  73. Shhh! rarity, keep it down
  74. >She whispers in a conspiratory way
  75. >"Why, whats going on darling?"
  76. I'm trying to keep a low profile because..well, do you have anywhere we can talk privately?
  77. >She thinks for a minute
  78. >What is she even doing here anyway?
  79. >"Lets go back to my suite! Its at the top of Celestia's private guests tower, and it is TO DIE FOR!"
  80. >Go back into celestia's territory, and stay with an element?
  81. >What could possibly go wrong.jpg
  82. >Then again, hiding in plain sight could work...
  83. Shhh...ok, lets go
