  2. Name of Character: Reginald Ashcroft
  3. Desired Reputation: Removal of Partisan Hack reputation
  4.
  5. Brief Argument (4 to 5 Sentences):
  6. The partisan hack reputation was assigned to me after transcripts of the economic summit were leaked to the press. This slip-up, however, was one stain on an otherwise extensive record of bipartisan behavior and it is no more hackish than the actions of other players, such as Elkins' threat to veto all Path to Prosperity bills or Christopher Williams' opposition on behalf of his Party of all GOP bills this session. I have led the passage of countless bipartisan bills, including the bipartisan Immigration Reform and Border Security Act, which I negotiated with Vice President Baudin. I have also shown willingness to buck the party norm by supporting legislation such as the National Infrastructure Bank Act. Furthermore, my being assigned a reputation seems inconsistent with other assignments - characters like Wade Schatz/David Tucker have not been assigned the "Ignoramus" reputation, despite being a virtual gaffe machine; President Elkins was not assigned the "Glut" reputation, despite abandoning his presidential duties for a good year; Jeremy Newhurn is not a "Polar Bear" despite acting like Karl Marx turned campus activist. Even McKinley didn't receive a reputation for his abortion gaffe. What I'm asking for is consistency in the assignment of negative reputations.
