Avara: 	Last time on AEB Abridged: Rochette ditched the party because she's got issues; we skipped a battle we might've been able to win at disagreeable expense; a pokemorph temporarily(?) joined the party, to Saturn's discomfort.
DNA: 	The morning before the plan Rochette had been quiet. During breakfast when the team was awarded with special privileges Rochette said nothing. When speaking with Svea when Saturn and Chloe struggled to keep composure, the normally blunt Rochette was silent. It wasn't until the group was halfway to the statue that Rochette spoke. She wanted to leave Winter Lotus. There were protests, mostly from Saturn and Chloe. Saturn feeling like Rochette had talked her out of such a choice and Chloe sad that she had just started to feel like Rochette was her friend. Valerie said very little, only making sure Rochette was willing to step out of their contract. Rochette did not let this sway her, it she had spent a long time coming to this decision. She had an opportunity in Cerulean, a job where she fit in and her skills at stealth would be put to good use. When the group reached the statue where the ladder into the earth could be found, Rochette offered herself as a distraction, running away with the attention of the hounds while the rest of the group descended. There were goodbyes, Saturn in particular stepping up to thank Rochette for the encounter in the Forest of Fate. With the tension between the two in part amended, Winter Lotus set their motion into action, promising to meet again one day the team split to play their parts.

Chloe: 	After decending the ladder, as if by fate, the three remaining members of Winter Lotus found a traveler using the room to escape the cold weather. After initial suspicion the half gardevoir Jen agreed to team up with Winter Lotus for the remainder of the job. Could this chance encounter result in a new, permanent member of Winter Lotus? If you just said 'no' you've never read a TTRPG log before. We now join Winter Lotus and friends after finally returning to the depths of the mausoleum.

	Chronicler: 	Smooth stone littered with small bits of broken rock and dirt makes up the floor of this chamber. The door to the northwest is shut and intact but remnants of the south door are propped up against a ruined frame and a badly cracked wall.
	Chronicler: 	The south door is where you enter this room.
	Jennifer Attaway: 	"Which way did you come through when you explored here last?"
	Chronicler: 	To the east there is a bridge built of rope and wood leading to another landing on the other side.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"There was a bridge to the...east, I think. Over there."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Essentially a dead-end if you go that way from this end. We were brought here by...some kind of teleporter."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"That leaves this door here. And I know there's something pertaining to the mausoleum behind it."

	Chronicler: 	The door opens into a large room (larger than those you've mostly been in thus far anyway).
Ancient frescoes decorate the walls of this room, which might be octagonal. It's difficult to be sure of this from your vantage point because walls partition the room. The art is not of the sort customary for a tomb. Each of the interior walls that you can see shows images of humans and Pokémon of many species carousing in a tavern. The outer walls near you depict a gold serpent defeating a red serpent. To the right and left are statues, one in the image of a beautiful princess and the other shaped like a knight ready for battle, sword raised and shield readied.
Chronicler whispers: No, because it acts like a Perception Check. You'll need to announce it and reroll eahc time you want ot use it.
