  1. Asriel sat on the throne which had once been his father's. A thin cruel smile curled on his lips as he awaited his 'illustrious guest'. They didn't know it yet but they had already lost to him. In a previous timeline he'd won. He'd actually won. And they let him win, the absolute madman... or woman as it where.
  2.
  3. With absolute control over the timeline now he knew everything about them. It was... an understatement to say they where disappointed to learn that they where not Chara, but still something about them pleased the boss monster turned god king. They where... so determined. So willful. It was enough to feel even perhaps a bit... infatuated?
  4.
  5. At the least he had much more than a passing interest now. Musing silently as he watched the human wander HIS domain he mused to himself. If she managed to reach him alive he would 'reward' her for her efforts. If she died... he would reset again, and again... and again. Until she either succeeded or finally broke.
  6.
  7. Scrying from his throne, Asriel gazed upon the person his mind was on. Frisk looked to be in her early 20s now. Did her age end up gradually persisting forward a bit even after every reset? Moving with a staff in long robes not unlike those his mother wore, they bore the delta rune. HIS emblem as far as Asriel was concerned. Was he not the angel of the legend? Was he not like unto a god? In his eyes bearing the delta rune, and seemingly so proudly he might add, was as good as branding herself as his.
  8.
  9. The searing winds of hotland raked at her tanned skin as she pressed forward. Her long hair was tied back these days not unlike Undyne's. It looked good on her. She would not find her friends here. Now there was only her, him, and what ever remnant remained of that shattered skeleton who fell into the core. He would consume them as well one day. For now though he remained focused on Frisk.
  10.
  11. This particular world was one made as if he had never died. Because he held the souls of all monsters though, this land was empty of them. Them and some 'demons' that he conjured. Shades in the form of his old friend. He had no intention of making this easy, and he would make sure Frisk would FIGHT of their own volition. A reward was earned, not given freely, after all. If they where worthy they would overcome these shadows.
  12.
  13. His grin widened as they drew closer. The thought of a perfect reward crossed his mind. He would make her his queen. Something he was sure they would both find pleasurable. They had proven they cared so deeply for him after all didn't they? They had done so much to 'save' him after all. After that they would bring life back to this empty kingdom. Life him and his queen would forge together. A superior successor race to the monsters he absorbed.
  14.
  15. Ah... it was about time he appeared to her again. It was fun preying on her sentimentality for him. He would let her believe that she had 'saved him' a little longer. That when she reached him they could both go home. Well... that last bit wasn't entirely a lie. She would be right at home, with her soul and his eternally entwined.
  16.
  17. Projecting himself just out of sight of Frisk so they'd see him as they turned a corner. "Frisk! Howdy! I See you're still hanging in there buddy! It's just a bit further now! Just a bit more and we'll be home before you know it!" His words filled Frisk with false determination.
