  1. Looney, whats going on man...
  2. [2:54:07 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: Rather than just wig out at least sit down and talk about it
  3. [2:54:16 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: We're suppose to be a team
  4. [2:54:28 PM] LoonyRules | Developer: Just sitting here waiting :)
  5. [2:54:38 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: Just woke up to this :/
  6. [2:54:49 PM] LoonyRules | Developer: "I woke up like this"
  7. [2:55:26 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: Well tell me the situation, haven't fully heard whats going on...
  8. [2:55:41 PM] LoonyRules | Developer: Did code send you that message?
  9. [2:56:30 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: Oh lemme read
  10. [3:13:59 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: Alright so first off, realize I'll tell you straight up whose being a suck up I don't necessarily think that's the case. Although I didn't no anything about Connor prior to hiring him just what you told me, you kind of put him as your mentor. You did say he was better than you with a lot of stuff in Bukkit, so I didn't question hiring him. Taking both of you on a project was only to only work and cooperate with each other, which is a team. Im not trying to put this only on you, but you wigging out and leaving the project in total with out bringing the situation to my attention does upset me a bit, you just cant do that Looney no matter what your working on. Its not professional and its not a team. Now I think you can learn from this if you really want too, and realize that what you did do was wrong, and it shouldn't happen again. Now that's solves one problem, but the other. I know Im not a java developer enough to understand what code is proper and efficient. But take a stance back and look at the situation from my POV. You just got 2 developers arguing about how they don't like each others code. Its normal, of course its normal. But this is going beyond limits of normal. All Im trying to do is get things straightened out and back on track, which will take both of you to work to together and talk before doing things to code that's not theirs. I think theirs one way to solve this from the beginning to get you guys in working stance and that's assigning each of you with your own projects. You and only you can work on it, not me, not Connor are aloud to touch the code. Sure we're aloud to make opinion, but ONLY positive opinions, perhaps, "Trying adding this it might speed things up" if that assignment owner doesn't want to, then drop the convo. Now that's a team, and that's what we must do to be a team. You must drop all the hatred for Connor that's possibly built up within the past few days here. Also I want to clear another point money whore. I want everyone to be on the same page with this before hand. Now, working is not being a money whore, its life. Realize that you, Connor, and me are all getting paid and who ever else works for me. That's just business, developing is not only a skill but a job and that's what it should be. Anywas, I hope you read this and see that you were both in the wrong with this and that we can all work as a team and put the past behind us.
  11. [3:21:36 PM] LoonyRules | Developer: Its called caring about things and cashvillan may like me more ;PClearly sucking up to you.

  15. <<< You did say he was better than you with a lot of stuff in Bukkit, so I didn't question hiring him.I said at coding Java in general. He can make some really cool complicated ways of overriding mobs, but loves to over complicate the basics, for example, creating an inventory. He's not used to the basics like that.

  17. "You just got 2 developers arguing about how they don't like each others code. Its normal, of course its normal."
  18. Usually, Connor explains his code, this time he does not and even when asked. I've been blanked.
  19.
  20. "Now, working is not being a money whore"
  21. Connor has NEVER been paid for the work of which he has produced. So this is his first time earning money via coding. I'm aware that you pay a lot for plugins to be completed so I made aware that you pay well for our work. But now it just seems like he's trying to make it seem like he's done much more work than me, although he has, it's stupid to say that he's removed my code, to make "a better automated system" that is just not necessary because it works ABSOLUTELY fine the way it did. + in less code too.
  22. [3:26:00 PM | Edited 3:26:04 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: Looney, I totally get your point, as I said. But your still going back to the point that Connor should not be apart of the team. I cant just cut him off because you want me too, that's not how business works. As I said he will not be touching your code and you will not be touching his, I don't see the problem but if you do, speak up. If you still want your position heres your only chance at keeping it.
  23. [3:26:41 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: Once someone leaves in total, it proves to me they are unfit to my standards, so don't prove that right, as I said I still want you on.
  24. [3:27:03 PM] Jordan W | RustMC Creator: Even after taking this immaturely to social media.
