- Hello,
- I am contacting you regarding to this:
- I (and the Minetest community) appreciate your work on this. However,
- there are two main issues with your release.
- 1. Compliance with Minetest Engine's GNU LGPL 2.1
- ----------------------------------------------------
- We, and the law, expect that the license terms of distributed software
- are followed. Here are the incompliances I found (there could be more):
- - Source code under LGPL (with modifications) is not included in your
- distribution, nor is it offered by you when or after receiving your
- distribution. You must make it available somehow.
- - Your distribution does not contain license and copyright information
- related to the Minetest Engine.
- - In the official Minetest distribution, the README.txt file
- contains most of such.
- Without following those points, you don't have the right to distribute
- your version of the software.
- 2. Usage of the name "Minetest"
- ----------------------------------
- This stuff is backed up by trademark law.
- When using the name "Minetest", it is expected and required that you
- respect the Minetest community.
- Currently your game does not do it, because of these reasons. All of
- these can be fixed, after which you may use the name:
- - You must credit those who have made all this possible. In no
- circumstance it is acceptable to remove the "Credits" tab from the
- menu - put it back and include yourself or your company at the top
- under an "Android Port" subtitle. Yes, your work is highly
- appreciated too, as long as you respect us.
- - You must not misrepresent the Minetest community or developers.
- Provide a link to http://minetest.net/ on your shop page and your
- homepage.
