  2. Yes
  3.

  5.
  6. Q: How long have you played the game, and what are your future plans for this game?
  7. I am learning the game for now, but I do however plan to run Any% of the game.
  8.

  10.
  11. Q: What is WR?
  12. Serious Categories:
  13. Any% is 37:40 by CaneofPacci - http://www.twitch.tv/caneofpacci (Run Highlight: http://www.twitch.tv/caneofpacci/c/5705439)

  17.
  18. Q: Wave? Phase? Stage? What do these mean?
  19. Wave: A set of Cubes.
  20. Phase: A set of Waves, represented by the Blue Squares next to the Stage Display.
  21. Stage: The game has 8 Stages.
  22.

  24.
  25. Q: What does each cube and tile do?
  26. Cubes:
  27. Basic Cube (Colour of Runway): Rolls towards the end of the runway. Ideal to be destroyed.
  28. Advantage Cube (Green): The same as a Basic Cube, but when destroyed places an Advantage Tile. Ideal to be destroyed.
  29. Forbidden Cube (Black): Rolls towards the end of the runway. If destroyed, it Drops the last row of the runway. Ideal to be avoided.
  30.
  31. Tiles:
  32. Inactive Tile (Colour of Runway): Nothing is on this tile.
  33. Basic Tile (Blue): Placed with the X Button, press the X Button again to destroy the cube on top of it, if there is one.
  34. Advantage Tile (Green): Spawned from an Advantage Cube when destroyed. Press Triangle to activate. When activated, increases the range to a 3x3 Area of Effect.
  35. Active Tile (Red): Shows the activation zone of cubes to be destroyed.

  39. Q: What defines Any%?
  40. Any% is completion of the 1 Player Mode's "Final Stage".
  41.
  42. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————
  43.
  44. Q: What defines All Perfects?
  45. This game does not track percentage in-game or have any collectibles. "All Perfects" is an incredibly tough category which requires you to get "Perfect" on every Wave in each Phase.
  46. To get a Perfect, the player must destroy every Basic Block and Advantage Block (Green) while not destroying any Forbidden Blocks (Black)
  47.
  48. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————
  49.
  50. Q: Why are you skipping Waves in a Phase?
  51. In Any% it can be faster to skip certain Waves due to one reason:
  52. It's the last Phase of the level, so I skip all but one Wave, then try to solve as much as possible; or I know I can safely Drop a few rows off my runway very quickly.
  53.
  54. Wave Skipping Tips:
  55. 1) Never Wave Skip on the last Wave in a Phase. You won't continue on to the next Phase if you are actively Dropping.
  56. 2) Keep an eye on the Bottom Right counter. The white boxes display the amount of blocks that take before one Drop can happen, and resets at the end of every Phase, allowing you to destroy less cubes and go faster.
  57. 3) If there's only a few cubes left in the Wave, it can sometimes be beneficial to avoid the Perfect Wave Cutscene, saving a few seconds.
  58. 4) In Any%, destroying some Forbidden Blocks can be useful. It shortens the runway, saving half a second once the Stage is complete and avoids the Perfect Wave Cutscene, saving a few seconds; if you have perfected the wave.
  59.
  60. Do be aware that the shorter the Runway is, the harder it gets; but makes Any% quicker.
  61.
  62. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————
  63.
  64. Q: How are you making the cubes move so fast?
  65. In the Options Menu, there is a Speed Setting. The game is defaulted to Speed 0. For an ideal speedrun, Speed 4 is used; however this greatly reduces the amount of time you have to react, but over the course of an Any% run seems to save about 10 minutes.
  66. If I want to end a Wave early, I am pressing the Square button to advance the cubes quickly.
  67.
  68. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————
  69.
  70. Q: What's the fraction in the Top Right corner?
  71. This is the game telling you what the Optimal Solution for the Wave is. Matching the Optimal Solution is most ideal in All Perfects, sometimes you can get below the "Optimal" solve with crazy solutions or having Advantage Tiles left over from another Phase.
  72.

  74.
  75. Q: WHY IS THE MUSIC SO GOOD?
  76. I don't know.
