Red like Fire

Twisted, crackling  flames filled the air.  Sparks flew as steel met hard scales with tremendous force.

A black creature howled, its tendrils and claws grasping at air, relentlessly pursuing the elusive figure before it.  Despite an impressive strength and speed it was thwarted at every turn by a swift blade and intense fire.

The figure scoffed and stared with bright, flaming red eyes.  The monster was a putrid alienation of the world around it.  A truly sickening sight, chaotically tearing apart the order of the reality around it: it must be destroyed; annihilated; cleansed from the world it inhabited.

White flames encircled a large claymore as it plunged through the creature, finally making it's way past the hard, black scales.  A terrifying howl echoed throughout the landscape.  A handful of cloaked figures nearby flinched.  But the warrior made no such reaction, instead twisting the sword.

Sizzling embers suddenly gave way to an impressive inferno, consuming the creature's flesh and soul, leaving nothing but white ash.

"Impressive as always, Runa," said one of the cloaked figures nearby, clasping his hands together.

"What do you want, Cylle?" replied the figure, her eyes now glowing a dim red.

"We've found him, but we'll need you to bring him in."

Runa's eyes suddenly brightened, "I'll leave at once."
