- [01:13:56] <guest_65> Well, i turned on my computer one day to find that i am no longer connected to my internet
- [01:14:19] <camerongray> guest_65: I know people hate this response, but have you tried rebooting your modem/router? :P
- [01:14:25] <guest_65> I kept trying to unplug, plug and restart my modem, but
- [01:14:30] <camerongray> Ahh
- [01:14:36] <guest_65> Yeah i have, but nothing :/
- [01:14:47] <guest_65> I've tried uninstalling my PCI-E driver
- [01:14:57] <guest_65> and restart, but still kept going to the same settings
- [01:15:06] <guest_65> Any ideas? :O
- [01:15:16] <lostcoast> did you set this network as public?
- [01:15:30] <lostcoast> when it asked
- [01:15:39] <Craig> Setting it as public wouldn't matter.
- [01:15:50] <Craig> What are his IP settings, is he getting DHCP?
- [01:16:04] <lostcoast> Craig: you are a know it all too?
- [01:16:08] <guest_65> I keep trying to change it to home like the computer i am on atm, but it keeps going back to the settings in the picture
- [01:16:30] <camerongray> Craig has insane knowledge of networking and servers, taught me everything I know today about it
- [01:16:33] <Craig> I am paid well to be smart, and know how to troubleshoot. Weather or not I am a know it all is up to you to decide.
- [01:17:25] <lostcoast> I have seen public access get blocked when security is not set to public...you arguing with that?
- [01:17:43] <guest_65> Mmmm how would i change that?
- [01:18:14] <Craig> Well, the public setting should not affect his ability to see the router, start with the basics, is he getting DHCP.
- [01:18:16] <guest_65> Would it be beneficial if i took a screen shot of 'ipconfig' ?
- [01:18:23] <Craig> yes it would
- [01:18:26] <camerongray> Yeah, that would really help
- [01:18:28] <guest_65> Okay hold on :)
- [01:18:48] <guest_65> THankyou for helping out guys, this is my last resort before i take it to an overpriced pc repair shop
- [01:19:08] <camerongray> As far as I know, the whole "Public, Home, Work" business in Windows just affects how sharing works e.g. disables sharing on public
- [01:19:14] <Craig> yes
- [01:19:18] <Craig> that is true Cameron
- [01:19:37] <camerongray> Oh yeah, PC repair shops scare me - I know a couple of good ones here but some seem so dodgy
- [01:19:51] <camerongray> "Oh, so you're a barber who also repairs PCs and has an interenet cafe"
- [01:20:09] <camerongray> Or the pharmacy/internet cafe that repairs PCs and sells laptops
- [01:20:15] <camerongray> These places exist!
- [01:20:17] <lostcoast> Is this a home router?
- [01:20:35] <guest_65> Yeap
- [01:20:47] <lostcoast> the lack of details is amazing
- [01:20:55] <lostcoast> ook
- [01:21:15] <guest_65> Sorry about lack of info, ill supply what is needed :O
- [01:21:33] <Aj> my junk sit on the shelf for a week collecting dust befor they ever looked at it they called me up told me i have a virous i told them i needed a etihernet card not a virous scan stupid computer shop
- [01:21:34] <lostcoast> I will guess its wireless?
- [01:21:42] <Craig> Sorry guest_65, we are just waiting on your screenshot of the IPConfig you suggested.
- [01:22:26] <lostcoast> have you tried wired hook up yet?
- [01:22:52] <-- Aj ([email protected]) has quit (Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client)
- [01:23:11] <Craig> Quit changing what the guest is trying, just see his IP settings first, then work from there. If its wireless we will see in the IP Config.
- [01:23:12] <guest_65> Its not wireless, i'm connected to modem by ethernet
- [01:23:50] <lostcoast> IP and dns are set to auto on the comp?
- [01:23:57] <guest_65> Okay here is the ipconfig screenie http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx320/onionboi/help2.png
- [01:24:43] <Craig> So its a router from the internet supplier right Guest_65?
- [01:24:46] <lostcoast> I was trying for them not to show personal info but have it your way
- [01:24:55] <guest_65> Yes, it is
- [01:25:03] <Craig> Thats not personal info, non of that is useful in any external attack.
- [01:25:26] <HD8> Craig do not just come in here aqnd tell us what to do,and how to do it
- [01:25:32] <Craig> If you go into a browser, like IE, can you talk to the router with http://192.168.1.254
- [01:25:33] <HD8> and*
- [01:25:40] --> pst33l ([email protected]) has joined #computerhope
- [01:25:55] <guest_65> Lostcoast, in reguards to your previous question, yes the IP and dns are set to auto
- [01:26:28] <guest_65> I cant access the modem from that computer
- [01:26:33] <HD8> Craig you also shall respect us or you will be removed
- [01:26:36] <guest_65> but on the current pc i can
- [01:26:54] <Craig> Also, Guest_65, try using the 64bit browser of IE, that has its own settings that can bypass some issues like this,
- [01:26:57] <-- baconbuttie ([email protected]) has quit (Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client)
- [01:26:59] <camerongray> Very strange...
- [01:27:01] <Craig> if that works, it may be some malware.
- [01:27:14] <guest_65> Okay so IE 64bit?
- [01:27:30] <Craig> HD8 and Lostcost have not earned my respect yet, show me that you can work with others and I will listen.
- [01:27:42] <Craig> Yes IE x64
- [01:27:46] <Craig> 64bit*
- [01:28:24] <lostcoast> craig what is that about?
- [01:28:30] <lostcoast> that was not me
- [01:28:34] <Craig> Sorry, that should have been HD8 only.
- [01:28:45] <lostcoast> seems you have a agenda here
- [01:29:06] <lostcoast> to cause disruption to ops
- [01:29:39] <lostcoast> that won't work out well
- [01:30:03] <Craig> I am merely trying to help the guest with his networking problem.
- [01:30:04] <guest_65> Doesn't seem to be working with the 64bit guys
- [01:30:28] <Craig> Have you checked your hardware manager for issues with your network interface hardware?
- [01:30:29] <lostcoast> ummhmmm
- [01:30:39] <camerongray> Hmm, I can probably guess the outcome but what happens if you try to ping 192.168.1.254?
- [01:30:41] <Craig> The little yellow triangles that show up in there.
- [01:31:44] <guest_65> Oh hold on i'll screenshot when i troubleshoot network problem
- [01:34:03] <guest_65> Here it is http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx320/onionboi/help3.png
- [01:34:22] <guest_65> i'll re-edit it if its too small
- [01:35:01] <camerongray> Ahh, I can see that
- [01:35:11] <camerongray> That's really strange since ipconfig shows an IP address
- [01:35:15] <Craig> You may need to do IPConfig again, since that would have changed settings in your lan card.
- [01:35:18] --> baconbuttie ([email protected]) has joined #computerhope
- [01:35:28] <guest_65> okay sure
- [01:35:43] <camerongray> After that... What happens if you click "Local Area Connection" in the network manager then click "Details"
- [01:36:02] <camerongray> Oh, when I said "Network manager" I meant "Network and Sharing Center"
- [01:36:27] <Craig> :P Bit dated there Cam?
- [01:37:22] <camerongray> hahaha! "Network neighbourhood" did pop into my head when I was thinking about what it was called
- [01:37:52] <Craig> Well from the areo we know he is running 7, since vista's looked different :)
- [01:38:08] <Craig> And it was displayed in his first screenie :P
- [01:38:15] <camerongray> hehehe, was about to say that
- [01:38:39] <guest_65> Okay here is the ipconfig/network troubleshoot http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx320/onionboi/help3-2.png
- [01:39:02] <camerongray> AH HA! It's lost the IP
- [01:39:13] <guest_65> Figured? :O
- [01:39:16] <Craig> Yeah so your not actually getting DHCP, you may have a bad router, or you might not be resetting it properly.
- [01:39:32] <guest_65> But this computer connects perfectly :O
- [01:39:39] <Craig> Alright,
- [01:39:44] <Craig> so we know the router is good then
- [01:39:52] <Craig> Have you tried a different cable
- [01:40:03] <guest_65> On that :D
- [01:40:06] <Craig> a different cat5 cable from the back of the computer to the router.
- [01:40:08] <Craig> Cool,
- [01:41:08] <guest_65> Craig, different cord didnt seem to make a difference
- [01:41:13] <guest_65> :/
- [01:41:25] <camerongray> Also, have you tried disabling and re-enabling the network adapter in the PC with the problem, When you are in "Network and Sharing Center" there should be a bit on the left saying "Manage Adapters" or something similar. Go into that, find "Local Area Connection" and right click it then press "Disable", once that's done right click and press "Enable"
- [01:41:34] <Craig> since you seem to have some skill with command prompt, try ipconfig -release
- [01:41:38] <Craig> then ipconfig -renew
- [01:43:03] <guest_65> Craig, apparently there was a problem when i type 'ipconfig -release' in cmd
- [01:43:11] <guest_65> i'll screen shot it
- [01:43:23] <Craig> oh it probably wants you to choose a device :P
- [01:43:24] --> guest_48 ([email protected]) has joined #computerhope
- [01:43:51] <guest_48> does anyone know where I can find a cd/dvd read/write driver for a toshiba satellite l505d-s5983
- [01:43:52] <Craig> Doing it cameron's way should do the same thing
- [01:44:19] <Craig> Sorry Guest_48 I do not, you can ask one of the other guys in Chat like HD8 or LostCoast
- [01:44:53] <guest_48> LostCoast you have helped me before, I need some more help with finding a driver
- [01:45:08] <camerongray> guest_48: Did you look on Toshiba's website?
- [01:45:22] <Craig> Oh hehe, I read that wrong, it was a driver not a drive :P
- [01:45:24] <guest_65> Here is the problem when i type 'ipconfig -release' Craig http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx320/onionboi/help4.png
- [01:45:34] <guest_48> yea, I couldn't find (what I thought was the correct driver) it
- [01:45:58] <guest_48> camerongray (above)
- [01:46:02] <Craig> Guest_65, that is normal, since it doesnt have an assigned ip yet, try renewing it.
- [01:46:21] <camerongray> guest_48: Hmm, are you sure you are needing a *driver* and not the software that lets you burn stuff to a disc
- [01:46:27] <guest_65> Okay cool, want me to screenie ipconfig afterwards?
- [01:46:31] <Craig> sure
- [01:46:54] <camerongray> From my experience, Windows usually detects DVD burners automatically (Assuming you are using Windows)
- [01:47:43] <guest_48> yea I'm using Windows 7 x86, however it can't read/find the dvd-rw for me (it has before), and I've tried 3 different ones
- [01:48:21] <guest_48> camerongray
- [01:48:37] <camerongray> guest_48: Strange... To me that almost sounds like a bad drive as I've never needed to install drivers for one in any recent version of Windows
- [01:48:47] <Craig> guest_65 your ip settings should look like this after if you get them from the details in your network and sharing center. http://www.brokedcomputer.com/screenshot.26.png
- [01:48:51] <guest_65> Craig here is the release/renew http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx320/onionboi/help5.png
- [01:49:10] <guest_48> camerongray I know, it used to work fine but all of a sudden it don't wanna do a whole lotta nothin
- [01:49:11] <guest_65> Mmm i'll screenie mine
- [01:49:30] <Craig> guest_65 can you go into the control panel, and look at device manager
- [01:49:42] <camerongray> guest_48: Can it even read a known-good CD?
- [01:50:03] <Craig> in there you should see, Network adapters, and it should be a good indicator if there is an issue.
- [01:50:07] <guest_48> I don't have any, however the dvd-rws are blank
- [01:50:32] <camerongray> Ahh, do you have any DVD/CD at all? Like a movie?
- [01:50:35] <guest_65> Ok, sure
- [01:51:00] <guest_48> brb
- [01:52:53] <guest_65> Craig here is my network connection details http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx320/onionboi/help6.png
- [01:53:18] <Craig> And under the device manager Guest_65?
- [01:53:32] <guest_65> And here is device manager and network devices as you asked http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx320/onionboi/help7.png
- [01:53:42] <guest_48> camerongray I tried playing megamind (legal of course), and nothing
- [01:53:55] <camerongray> guest_48: To me that sounds like a bad drive
- [01:54:30] <guest_48> that's what I'm thinkin too, but I want to try a driver first (just to exhaust all options)
- [01:54:40] <Craig> Guest_65, could you try moving your connection to a different port on your router? there should be 2 open if you have 2 computers.
- [01:55:02] <guest_65> Ok, sure
- [01:55:29] <camerongray> guest_48: Ahh, The issue is that I'm doubtful that they would even release drivers for a drive
- [01:55:35] <Craig> Guest_48, most drivers for CD/DVD drives are for dos so that you can use it from a floppy. They are not used under windows since they have standardized drivers now.
- [01:55:46] <guest_65> Craig, didnt seem to have done anything :/
- [01:55:56] <guest_65> Still the same settings
- [01:55:57] <Craig> Guest_65, thanks it was worth a try.
- [01:56:02] <Craig> Hmmmm,
- [01:56:06] <guest_48> camerongray thanx
- [01:56:08] <-- guest_48 ([email protected]) has quit (Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client)
- [01:56:21] <camerongray> DAH! I had a beautiful reply almost typed!
- [01:56:41] <guest_65> Heheh :)
- [01:56:44] <Craig> guest_65, I am sorry but I think I am out of options for remote help, maybe another member can help you.
- [01:57:12] <guest_65> No worries Craig, thankyou for trying out anyways :D
- [01:57:19] <guest_65> Much appreciated
- [01:57:34] <Craig> Your welcome
- [01:57:49] <guest_65> Could it possibly be due to some viruses?
- [01:58:03] <camerongray> It is possible but I've never heard of that happening
- [01:58:12] <HD8> !virus
- [01:58:12] <camerongray> You could try asking on the forums, your post would be seen by a lot more members that way
- [01:58:12] <Hopebot> If you believe you're infected a good starting point is to download and run the free version of Malwarebytes from: http://www.malwarebytes.org any additional help is best asked on the forum because of the complexity of some infections. - [01:58:46] <guest_65> Before the connection problem i had an influx of pop ups of my computer being infected
- [01:58:58] <guest_65> Pop ups from AVG 2013 (free ver.)
- [01:59:10] <camerongray> Ahh, that's always a possibility then
- [01:59:40] <guest_52> Question: I saw on a web site that I can connect a PCI-E 16X 2.0 into a X16 1.0 slot...is this right? Also it the card has Direct X10. Will this all work on a Windows XP Professional system?
- [02:00:04] <guest_65> Okay so forum you think? what would be the best information/screen shots to post?
- [02:00:20] <HD8> guest_65: uninstall avg and install avast much better protection
- [02:00:41] <camerongray> I'm trying to think as to what settings could potentially be broken by a virus to cause that
- [02:00:48] <camerongray> guest_52: Yes to both :)
- [02:00:51] <guest_65> Thanks HD8
- [02:01:02] <HD8> you're welcome
- [02:01:05] <guest_65> :)
- [02:01:11] <Craig> Guest_65, try downloading Comodo Antivirus and installing it from a flash drive this may catch any viruses you have, and help prevent reinfection, however, I do not believe that the issue is a virus in regards to the network.
- [02:02:14] <guest_65> Mmmm ok Craig,
- [02:02:19] <guest_52> thanks camerongray....this is the card : EVGA GeForce 8400 GS 1 GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0
- [02:02:19] <BattleCam> any additional help is best asked on the forum because of the complexity of some infections. Start at this page: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,46313.0.html
- [02:02:34] <camerongray> guest_52: Nice, that should work fine
- [02:03:16] <guest_52> ok 2nd question...it requires this (recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 18 Amps)....how do I know if my motherboard and PSU are enough?
- [02:03:44] <camerongray> guest_52: There should be a sticker on your PSU with the ratings for each of the rails
- [02:03:48] <Craig> Guest_52 does it have a power plug on the card?
- [02:04:07] <guest_52> no
- [02:04:08] <camerongray> guest_65: While a virus is a possibility, I'd say it's quite unlikely since a virus generally wants a network connections so it can send your data to its creators .etc. One thing you could try is setting a static IP address
- [02:04:13] <guest_65> Cannot thankyou enough Craig for taking your time out to help :)
- [02:04:20] <Craig> Guest_52, if not then the card runs off your motherboards power, in which case the board has it covered.
- [02:04:33] <guest_65> Same for you Camerongray and HD8 :D
- [02:04:37] <camerongray> thanks :D
- [02:04:42] <Craig> As long as your power supply is big enough for the over all components of your computer.
- [02:05:17] <guest_65> 7mins left to dl comodo antivirus :O
- [02:05:25] <guest_52> it requires a 350watt PSU and mine is 365Watt...
- [02:05:52] <Craig> You should be alright then, the onboard power and the 24pin connector on the motherboard should be enough.
- [02:05:59] <camerongray> guest_65: Yeah, it's pretty big, you could try setting a static IP. If that fails set it all back to auto so nothing gets confused later
- [02:06:26] <guest_52> thanks again.
- [02:06:38] <camerongray> yw
- [02:06:55] <Craig> Guest_65, is this a pci/pci-e card or an onboard network adapter?
- [02:06:58] <guest_65> I've tried playing around with manually setting IP/DNS didn't work unfortunatly, so i set it to similar settings to the computer i am on atm
- [02:07:13] <guest_65> I believe its an onboard network adapter Craig
- [02:07:24] <guest_65> But i'm not too sure on that
- [02:07:35] <guest_65> I could tell you my motherboard if that helps?
- [02:08:02] <Craig> I think the connector onboard may be dead, Its nothing too big, you could get PCI or Pci-e network adapter to use instead, they are usually more reliable.
- [02:08:22] --> |Balrog| ([email protected]) has joined #computerhope
- [02:08:26] <Craig> or even usb, they are just about as good now-a-days/
- [02:08:58] <guest_65> Mmmm ok, i'm not sure about that sort of stuff (hardware install) so i think its best to leave that to the 'professionals' in the cafe ahahahah
- [02:09:38] <Craig> Yeah shouldnt cost much, may 30-60 dollars for the card, and sometimes 40 for the install.
- [02:09:50] <Craig> maybe*
- [02:09:57] <camerongray> guest_65: For the static IP settings you'd want something like 192.168.1.10 for the machine, 192.168.1.254 for the default gateway, the subnet mask should be automatic and the DNS servers should be set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- [02:10:21] <Craig> the default subnet would be 255.255.255.0
- [02:10:34] <guest_65> Which is what i set it too :P
- [02:11:07] <Craig> Guest_65 Yeah, I think its the port is dead, though I would do the virus removal offline anyway, its safer,
- [02:11:08] <guest_65> Craig would completely replacing my PCI- network adapter fix this problem?
- [02:11:23] <Craig> If its just a dead port, Yes it would.
- [02:11:56] <Craig> Wish you lived in Calgary, I have 2 spares that are just sitting in my towers :p
- [02:12:00] <guest_65> Mmm ok, but if it was dead wouldn't it not even show up as a 'unidentified network'
- [02:12:01] <Craig> their pci-e though
- [02:12:34] <Craig> No a dead port is usually hardware, and not visible by the computer, your computer could still see that the communication hardware exsists but couldn't use it.
- [02:12:45] <camerongray> guest_65: How familiar are you with booting a PC off of a Linux Live CD, you could do that and see if the network works as that would totally rule out any software issues with Windows.
- [02:12:54] <guest_65> ahhhh cool, Sorry about all the questions, Looking to become a computer tech in the furture :P
- [02:13:13] <Craig> Guest_65, that suggestion by Camerongray would work, if you can boot off a linux cd.
- [02:13:14] <guest_65> Umm not too familar comerongray, :P
- [02:13:16] <camerongray> No worries, I've learned loads from being on here
- [02:13:39] <Craig> I just started working and figured it out as I went :P Started young though, 16 years ago :P
- [02:13:47] <Craig> or more... I forget now... :S
- [02:14:00] <guest_65> Ahahaha :)
- [02:14:10] <camerongray> Ahh, there should be instructions online, by doing that you would completely bypass Windows so if it still doesn't work then you can pretty much confirm it's hardware
- [02:14:17] <Craig> You could download an Ubuntu Live CD, www.ubuntu.com
- [02:14:29] <Craig> then burn it from this computer, and test it on your other computer.
- [02:14:43] <guest_65> What does that program do?
- [02:14:45] <Craig> The hardware should be automatically picked up, they have a very vast network adapter selection
- [02:14:57] <Craig> Its an OS that would run on your computer with out changing it.
- [02:15:10] <guest_65> Ahhh ok.
- [02:15:42] <guest_65> would it be beneficial to have comodo antivirus and avast installed?
- [02:15:44] <guest_65> Or just one?
- [02:15:47] <camerongray> Just one
- [02:15:53] <Craig> Only one, they will conflict
- [02:16:04] <camerongray> If you have two they can fight and cause all sorts of issues
- [02:16:09] <guest_65> Which one is best
- [02:16:12] <camerongray> I got my first (Own) PC when I was 9 (486SX Ambra Sprinta) then worked up from there, I was pretty much given it because my parents were tired of me breaking their PC trying to learn how it worked
- [02:16:15] <Craig> For simplicity, Avast is great, for a bit more comprehesive work, Comodo is stronger.
- [02:16:34] <Craig> Heh, I started out on a Comodore 64 :)
- [02:16:37] <db100547> guest_65: also get malwarebytes
- [02:16:42] <db100547> g malwarebytes
- [02:16:42] <Hopebot> Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
- [02:16:45] <guest_65> Thats alot of initiative comerongray :O
- [02:17:23] <camerongray> Yeah, you can safely use malwarebytes and another antivirus since malwarebytes doesn't sit in the background and scan stuff in realtime
- [02:17:50] <db100547> unless you pay for it !
- [02:17:56] <camerongray> True
- [02:17:56] --> guest_18 ([email protected]) has joined #computerhope
- [02:18:01] <camerongray> I've always wondered about that one
- [02:18:20] <guest_18> I need help jailbreaking my iPhone 4s through Windows.
- [02:18:35] <Craig> I believe that is a non topic.?
- [02:18:41] <guest_18> non topic?
- [02:18:42] <Craig> rules
- [02:18:42] <Hopebot> Chat rules: English only, no profanity, no discrimination, no discussions on politics/religion, no spam or flooding the channel, no advertisement or other website URLs unless addressing another users question, and no assistance with hacking, cracking, creating viruses, illegal torrents, bypassing copyright laws.
- [02:18:56] <-- guest_18 ([email protected]) has quit (Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client)
- [02:18:58] <camerongray> guest_18: Not sure if we can help with that since it's a sort of grey area legally
- [02:19:01] <Craig> I believe Jailbreaking falls under cracking?
- [02:19:04] <camerongray> GAH!
- [02:19:13] <guest_65> AHahah, left before you could explain XD
- [02:19:14] <camerongray> It's a grey area, legal in some countries not others
- [02:19:34] <Craig> :P
- [02:19:42] <camerongray> Bit like phone unlocking too
- [02:19:58] <guest_65> apparently im 'at risk' according to comodo antivirus :O
- [02:20:07] <Craig> Well, I think that unlocking phones should be legal, I mean we pay for the freakng things.
- [02:20:18] <camerongray> It's probably because you don't have the latest updates due to the network issues
- [02:20:21] <Craig> At Risk means that you haven't configured everything yet, :P
- [02:20:32] <Craig> don't worry, just do a full scann, see what it comes up with.
- [02:20:47] <guest_65> ok :)
- [02:21:05] <Craig> Muhahahaha
- [02:21:19] <Craig> Real memory 15.43 GB total, 550.71 MB used <- on a linux server, you never use all of what you pay for. :P
- [02:21:37] <camerongray> You're insane!
- [02:21:54] <guest_65> wth, apparently i'm downlooading signatures :O
- [02:22:02] <Craig> ?
- [02:22:03] <camerongray> Craig: Yeah, totally should be. Although I got a phone a couple of years ago, dirt cheap £99 for Android since it was heavily subsidised by the network. Someone cracked the IMEI to unlock code algorithm and people went mad buying and unlocking them
- [02:22:18] <guest_65> Don't know whether thats through the net or from what i've downloaded through the .exe file
- [02:22:19] <Craig> hahahaha
- [02:22:29] <Craig> It will probably time out,
- [02:22:36] <Craig> does your network connection say connected?
- [02:22:48] <guest_65> nope
- [02:22:49] <guest_65> :O
- [02:23:21] <camerongray> Craig: My server is using 10.59gb out of 11.73gb
- [02:23:30] <guest_65> OMGOMGOGOGMOGM, I'm CONNECTED THANKYOU CRAIG, CAMERONGRAY and HD8
- [02:23:35] <camerongray> Although technically it's not all being used but is what is eaten up by the VMs
- [02:23:41] <camerongray> hahaha, glad it worked
- [02:23:42] <Craig> ... I have no clue what changed... :P
- [02:23:53] <guest_65> WOAH, how the hell, XD
- [02:24:04] <camerongray> I've never seen a virus cause that, unless AVG botched something while removing
- [02:24:07] <Craig> I think AVG was blocking you... It does that if its not always updated.
- [02:24:24] <Craig> Dang I should have thought of that, I have seen that with Norton too.
- [02:24:26] <guest_65> Ohhhh thats probably why, i always put off updates >.<
