    But I've learned that you can't really do that until the relationship has gotten rolling.

    I really, REALLY hate to say this, but a lot of the times you're better off hiding a lot of stuff about yourself at first. Not only does the "mystery" aspect keep women interested, but it also keeps things from getting stale right off the bat.

    Women know this almost instinctively - they only tell certain things to certain guys depending on their intentions.

    Stop receding inwards and start telling them how you feel.
    That's it, girls like to know you care about them. When they don't think you do, they get frustrated and just move on to find someone else who does.
