>A unicorn walks in wearing bright gold armor, carrying a tray of food.
>Mashed potatoes and filthy water. The same as usual
>He simply drops it in front of you and turns around, kicking dirt up with his hind hoof and into your face.
>"FUCK OFF" you yell in a raspy voice before he closes the door
>Digging at the food with your hoof the best you can, you pull it up to your mouth.
>You can only feast for so long on such foods, you were craving love more than anything, feeling like nothing more than an empty husk compared to what you used to be.
>Another day passes and you finally feel yourself drifting off, the darkness surrounding you once again.
>Only this time, this darkness would bring light

>"MY QUEEN" Sir. Valen stared at you from behind as you pushed forward ahead of the crowd, looking to see what the commotion is.
"Valen, what's going on?" you ask, straining your eyes to look ahead past the harsh winter conditions.
>A jet black changeling walks next to her and points ahead, clearly seeing something she does not.
"Valen I dont see anything, just the usual blizza-" you stop...and your jaw drops
>What had to be thousands of glowing lights flashed in the distance of the blizzard, lights of varying colors of the spectrum.
"...Valen....she's arrived....call for squad 1" you order, drooping your head and sighing
>"Yes your majesty" Valen bows to you and turns around, heading off into the distance back toward the castle.
>Meanwhile another black pony walks beside you, his red cape clashing with your sky blue.
>"So this is it. I never thought I'd see the day" He looks at you with a worried look on his face, and you return the look.
"Why cant she just listen to reason, why can't she just realize..." you let out a whimper and the unicorn comes closer, and you rest your head on his shoulder.
>"Chrysalis, It'll be fine, we wont let her take this away from us, no matter the cost" Your husband whispers into your ear
>All that you had worked for, So much sweat and blood had gone into keeping this kingdom stable, so many changelings had died to defend it from the ponies.
>The lights in the distance flash again. Closer this time.
>"It wont be long"
"I know.....but we wont go down without a fight" You compose yourself and lift your head off his shoulder and give him a peck on the cheek. "These ponies wont take us down without a fight"
>Your husband grins at you and nods. "That's right"
>He spins around and starts to walk off toward the castle before you turn around to look at him.
"Hey Sombra....Good luck"
>He nods at you. "Same to you" and with that he walks away, a large swarm of changelings buzzing past him toward you.

>The crowd of unicorns gets closer, and you soon notice a group of pegasi in the air as well.
>So she brought them too...
>You look at your changeling army and let out a heavy sigh.
"My darlings, I'm afraid the time has come to defend this castle for the last time! Celestia's army has arrived and is far larger than I could have imagined. We are outnumbered, outclassed, and outtrained."
>Your changeling brood continues to stare up at you, never losing their gaze with your eyes.
"But there is one thing that I know we have that she does NOT! And that is the power granted to us by Queen Andromeda herself!"
>Your horn glows and a bright green light shoots from the tip and into the air. It stops and splits into thousands of seperate lights, showering upon your children, filling them with your love.
"Even if your bodies cannot defeat the Tyrant of the Sun, our love for eachother will assure that we stay TOGETHER!"
>You shout the last word loudly, the army looking at you with admiration.
>Another green light surrounds your horn and you strip off your royal sky-blue coat, revealing a pair of shining silver armor, plates placed upon eachother to cover your forehooves, another plate covering your neck with a comfortable strap keeping it in place going to your underside and latching around your back, placing another large yet light plate of armor. Your silver crown rests upon your head and gleams in the winter light, and the changelings look upon you with awe
>Tears pour from your eyes, this is the end...and you know it.
>You turn from your children and unfurl your wings, pushing yourself into the air and hovering above the edge of the cliff. You can finally see the faces of the first row of unicorns.
"COME WITH ME AND WE SHALL DIE TOGETHER, WITH ME, IN YOUR MOTHERS ARMS, IN THE MIDST OF BATTLE!"
>Your army cheers behind you
>You cant help but feel proud of your children. So brave they were, despite knowing what their fate was that lied ahead of them
>Buzzing fills the air as your changeling brood takes flight behind you. You point your hoof at Celestia's army and shout
"CHARGE NOW! GIVE THEM NO MERCY! SHOW THE PONIES WHAT THE CHANGELINGS ARE MADE OF!"
>And with that your ears go silent, deafened by the thousands of buzzing wings around you, black bodies whizzing past you.
>You observe the scene for a few seconds before following after them, choosing to charge after the crowd of pegasi first.

>Another changeling hurries behind the pegasus and grabs hold of its wings, tearing them off its back.

>Your child looks up at you and you nod. He nods back and continues the fight.
>Charging your horn again, a spiral of light wraps around the curved appendage and meets at the tip, before shooting into the air.
>The light spreads throughout the sky and you shout once again.
"FEED UPON MY LOVE IF YOU NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION"
>Your voice echoes throughout the battlefield, pegasi dropping like flies and changelings sinking their teeth into their foes.
>The buzzing of countless wings continues to deafen your ears as you glide to the ground and a 3 unicorns set their sights on you
>Grinning maliciously, a bright light surrounds your entire body, trembling from the tip of your hoof all the way to your horn
>You have taken upon the appearance of Celestia, Tyrant of the Sun!
>The unicorns top and look at eachother confused.
"GUARD! BEHIND YOU!" you shout.
>The foolish unicorns look behind them and you dash forward.
>You jump on top of the hindquarters of one of the guards, pressing down as hard as you can. A loud CRACK can be heard and you know that you have just broken his hip
>The two remaining guards look at you and you jump at the one on the left, dashing behind him and grabbing his head, ready to twist it
"Do it and I'll kill him" you smile at the other guard who has his horn charged and ready to fire
>"L-LET HIM GO!" the guard demands as the one in your hooves shakes in terrot
>"Please...please do-"
>He doesnt finish his sentence
>One of your children comes up behind the other guard and sinks his teeth into his neck, and the guard lets out a scream of pain
>You grin and turn your hooves.
>SNAP!
>You let the guard fall dead in the snow as your child finishes the other one off.

"CELESTIA!" you shout back at her. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?"
>She lands a few meters away and folds her wings in, frowning at you.
>"Your kind have distilled enough fear upon my land. You drain our resources and provide no benefit to the good of Equestria. I must eliminate you"
>A dark rage fills your heart, a rage you had never felt before.
"HOW DARE YOU! How dare you judge us! You have lived with your kind in peace and prosperity for millenia, while we struggled to survive, constantly overlooked by your shadow, constantly being reminded by YOUR PONIES of our past, what our ancestors have done. THEY ARE NOT US! LEAVE THE PAST BEHIND AND WE CAN START ANEW!"
>You beg to the princess, hoping you can at least come out of this with some of your children alive.
>"I'm sorry Chrysalis....but I dont negotiate with Changelings" she stomps her hoof on the snow and you gasp in horror
>Behind her another wave charges down the foothills, 2,000 more ponies ready to fight.
>No!

>NO! HOW CAN SHE DOES THIS!
"WHY? WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO US? WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO YOU? WHY EXTERMINATE ALL OF US? HAVENT WE...."

>Citizens run around your kingdom in panic.

>Children sit crying on the roads, but you ignore everyone, swarming into the castle and and dashing up the stairs.
>Reaching the top, you stop to see Sombra pouring his magic into the heart, kneeling on the ground, weakened and fatiqued.
"SOMBRA!" you dash to him and land at his side, picking up his head with a hoof.
"Sombra, you...you did too much!"
>He looks at you and simply chuckles, the light from his horn disappating.
>"It's....ready...."
>More tears fall from your eyes and onto his cheeks as you realize what is next.
"Sombra....I'll come back for you...I promise"
>He chuckles as you put his head back carefully on the floor.

>You place the tip of your horn against the crystal heart, and close your eyes
>The heart glows bright green with your horn, a dark red spot in the center
>Your husbands magic
>Pouring as much of your magic into the heart as you can, it suddenly erupts with magic and light explodes from the heart, smashing out the windows and filling the entire kingdom with light
>The light touches every last living changeling in the kingdom, causing them to disappear
>As the last of the changelings are swept up by the light, you are as well, with your husband looking at you with a loving smile on his face
>You WILL come back for him
>And with that....darkness
>You had transported you and your army to a distant cave
>A cave used by your ancestors for hiding millenia ago, never known by any but the royal family.
>Bleeding and injured changelings surround you
>Half of them would probably die
>But that wouldnt stop you from trying to save them.
