[16:00] * Harmony turns her head away from Purple_Kay , finding it difficult to address him as her guilt resurfaces. "Mister Kay," she hesitates. "I must… apologize. I did not mean for my past to harm you so." She dips her head in guilt. "I-I understand if you cannot accept my apology."
[16:01] * Proverb stands quietly nearby, watching Harmony.
[16:02] * Purple_Kay takes a seat in front of Harmony. "Hold your head up, Beau. Lookit me."
[16:02] * Harmony frowns and nods, looking up at Kay with more than a little discomfort.
[16:05] * Purple_Kay smiles. "No harm no foul. Nothin' needs apologized for." He brings the backside of his fetlock up under her chin. "So you don't dare beat yourself up over it."
[16:07] * Logic still can't really believe that Kay is back. Looking at him now, cyberbits and all, it seems more like something he'd see on a program or movie than in real life. But, hey. It didn't stop him from getting on the train. Buy the ticket, take the ride. "While you
[16:07] <Logic> 're there, could you also sort out her romantic issues?"
[16:08] * Proverb smiles as she watches, her tail swishing happily for the first time in a while. That was until, Logic's comment. Her tail freezes in place, going still again. She droops her ears a little.
[16:09] * Harmony blinks, raising an eyebrow. "You... hold no anger over it? But if it were not for me, you would not have..." she trails off.
[16:09] * Green_Field eyes Purple_Kay's new implants, looking at how they fit with his biology. He waits to the side.
[16:13] * Purple_Kay shakes his head. "I've been shot for worse reasons than traveling with attractive company. I insist you don't worry another moment on it." He glances back to Logic and then to the pair. "And if you need to talk about anything, I'll lend an ear." Green_Field can see a thin articulated arm mounted to the front of his power armor. The plate or armor there having built in it a dock that connects to his cybernetic shoulder.
[16:14] * Proverb opens her mouth, looking over at Harmony, then to Purple_Kay. "Well..." She sighs, ears drooping a little more.
[16:14] * Proverb thinks it would be best for Harmony to explain.
[16:15] * Harmony nods slowly. "Then... thank you, Mister Kay." As for Proverb's comment, Harmony remains silent.
[16:17] * Purple_Kay pulls his fetlock from under her chin and gives her a firm pat on the shoulder. "You're welcome." He turns back toward the others. His eyes widen when he sees Missile_Rush. "You're back? How're Copper and Amber holding up?"
[16:21] * Logic seems frustrated, which is weird since he also feels happy and eager to share what he's done with Purple_Kay.
[16:21] * Missile_Rush doesn't look directly to Purple_Kay. He certainly looks different than he did when Purple_Kay saw him last, exchewing his old simple leather armor for police armor beneath a large duster, battle saddles armed with two handsome-looking battle rifles. A large hat sits on his head now. He addresses the long-dead stallion quietly. "They're doing better. I've been seeing to it that they have." Some more silence
[16:23] * Proverb looks down at the ground, scuffing a hoof on the ground. She was conflicted, her emotions waging a battle inside of her. One one hoof, she was really happy that Purple_Kay was back. On the other, depressed with the situation she was in with Harmony. She shudders, trembling slightly.
[16:24] <Missile_Rush> , then an even quieter voice. "You came back."
[16:26] * Purple_Kay nods. "Just needed a power nap." He smirks. "Can't keep me down long." He trots back toward Razor and Logic. "So, what are you looking for out here in Ranger territory?"
[16:27] * Missile_Rush just watches Purple_kay quietly, wings fluttering at his sides as he turns away again, face frowning.
[16:28] * Logic shrugs. "Ask Missile, he's the one with the mission. I think we were heading towards a Stable-Tec Local HQ to pick up some data. I'm going to grab a terminal while I'm there."
[16:30] * Purple_Kay nods. He sits down between Logic and Razor, looking back over to Missile_Rush. "How 'bout it Rush? How can I help?"
[16:30] * Logic probably should've thought out his answer more. He immediately replied, "Don't die."
[16:31] * Purple_Kay stops a beat before breaking out in a laugh. "I promise to try."
[16:34] * Razor eyes Missile_Rush. "All I know is Rangers are bad news even on a good day."
[16:34] * Missile_Rush still faces away from Purple_Kay, speaking quietly. "Our task is to find a Stable-Tec issue Pipbuck Broadcaster peripheral and an encrypted file. The first we can probably find in there." He points in the direction of the Stable entrance. "The other is in Ranger territory. We need to finish both within a week."
[16:35] * Logic wonders when he'll notice that he has his cutie mark. Then again, he kind of dreaded trying to explain how he got it to him. Not only the means, but also the inevitable questions on his morality.
[16:38] * Purple_Kay nods to Missile_Rush, not that he can see it since he's turned. "Let's get it done then. I'm looking forward to getting you all in a nice safe place and catching up, but here probably isn't it."
[16:39] * Proverb bites her lip, chewing on it lightly. She offers a small, genuine smile to Harmony.
[16:40] * Missile_Rush says nothing to Purple_Kay. He just stands there, watching the Stable entrance quietly before he trots onwards towards it.
[16:40] * Logic nods. "Yeah. Gotta get back to Rime, ASAP."
[16:41] * Purple_Kay quirks his ear toward Logic as he starts to follow Missile_Rush in. "Rime? You find a sweetheart while I was under?" He smirks.
[16:42] * Proverb turns, trotting after Purple_Kay, remaining quiet for now.
[16:44] * Logic blushes a little, biting the inside of his lip lightly. "Yup. She was around when you were asleep. She's back at the Collegiate working on a Psy-Resonant Disabling Amplifier based on some modifications to a recollector we made so that we can unbrain-fuck the Taintlings."
[16:44] * Harmony follows after the group.
[16:45] * Missile_Rush makes his way down to the Stable entrance!
[16:45] * Purple_Kay blinks several times. Mostly at that actually being the case. The rest kinda makes sense... kinda. "Well... good for you!"
[16:46] * Proverb nudges Purple_Kay's leg gently. "Kay?"
[16:47] * Purple_Kay shortens his steps. "Yeah, Wishy." He slows a bit, but still continues following after Missile_Rush.
[16:48] * Missile_Rush trottrottrots to the Stable door.
[16:48] * Razor sticks near Purple_Kay as they walk.
[16:48] * Logic sucks on the inside of his mouth a bit. "Yeah. Turns out I'm awesome at psychonautical entrenchment spells. I made it so that every time that Razor gets angry, she sings show tunes."
[16:48] * Proverb flutters her wings a bit to keep up. "Could we talk about something alone soon?" She asks Purple_Kay quietly.
[16:50] * Purple_Kay nods to Proverb. "Sure." He looks back to Logic, smirking. "So, shouldn't she be singing all the time?"
[16:50] * Logic rolls his eyes. "Couldn't work out the overflow problem." He stuck his tongue out a little.
[16:51] * Proverb nods to Purple_Kay, smiling at him a little as they trotted to the Stable entrance.
[16:52] * Green_Field hangs to the rear with Daisy as usual, letting them catch up.
[16:53] * Purple_Kay chuckles at Logic. "Shame you couldn't harness the overflow and convert to direct current, you could overcharge everypony's energy cells."
[16:54] * Logic giggles a little bit as the idea digested. And then his eyes open wide with the revelation that maybe that could work, to which he proceeds to write something down on paper.
[17:01] * Purple_Kay flicks his hind leg out a bit, racking the blue lever and switching from High Explosive to Honeycomb. The stable fixes to be close quarters.
[17:01] * Missile_Rush trots on!
[17:03] * Logic doesn't seem to take out his plasma rifle. He doubted that the damn thing could pierce Ranger armor, even when it wasn't powered, he guessed there were a few inches of steel to their everywhere. He knew that he was going to have to get tricky to deal with them.
[17:05] * Harmony takes her rifle out once more.
[17:06] * Logic ponders. "Hey, Kay. Do you have a grenade I could have?"
[17:06] * Missile_Rush has his battle saddle.
[17:07] * Proverb draws her silenced 1911.
[17:10] * Purple_Kay nods to Logic. "Sure, have a couple." He reaches back with his thin mechanical arm and plucks out two high explosive and two matrix disruption grenades to give Logic.
[17:11] * Missile_Rush leads the group through inside past the door into the Stable proper, then! He keeps a sharp eye...
[17:11] * Logic only takes one of the high-explosive ones. "Oh, I don't actually know how to use these things. In fact, I don't plan on ever pulling the pin.
[17:14] * Proverb tilts her head at Logic as they headed into the stable, looking around carefully.
[17:14] * Purple_Kay sticks the others back in, but keeps hold of the matrix distruption. "You should at least take one of these, considering who we may be up against."
[17:15] * Razor keeps her sword ready. She was ready for a fight before, and she's just as ready for one now!
[17:17] * Logic seems to be busy. His eyes lit up bright as his horn seemed to spread bright green tendrils which permeated the grenade. "Nah. Trust me, I
[17:17] <Logic> 'm garbage at throwing things." He noted.
[17:25] * Purple_Kay slips the matrix distruption grenade back in his bag. "Alright." He keeps his eyes peeled as they descend.
[17:25] * Green_Field follows in, keeping a little behind.
[17:37] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy sticks close to Green_Field. She gives Purple_Kay a smile though, remembering his kindness as well
[17:38] * Missile_Rush keeps a sharp eye.
[17:39] * Logic heads on into the stable thingy or whatever.
[17:39] <TenMihara|GM> The party is more easily able to enter the space beneath the rock escarpment with the door and walls blown off, but the stairwell, now singed significantly, part of the railing warped, is still only wide enough for one pony at a time. Save the miniscule Proverb
[17:39] * Logic is tiny too!
[17:40] <TenMihara|GM> And Logic
[17:41] * Proverb squeezes through first, wiggling and shimmying her way through, pistol at the ready.
[17:43] * Missile_Rush watches little Proverb rush past him, resisting the urge to roll his eyes as he follows behind, looking about.
[17:44] * Razor is more than eager enough to head right on ahead. She /should/ be the one at the front anyway, despite how suicidal Missile_Rush and Proverb are.
[17:44] <TenMihara|GM> The stairwell is the same as it was before; narrow, dimly lit, and a bit rusty. It goes down about a hundred feet, then has a slight side branch that goes down another 10
[17:46] * Missile_Rush trots on ahead.
[17:48] * Purple_Kay observes the are through his eyepiece, the hud feeding him information from the SATS system integrated into his armor.
[17:49] <TenMihara|GM> Purple_Kay's EFS currently can't get a reading on anything from outside the Stable.
[17:50] * Green_Field waits for the others to decide who's going in when and goes in last like a good medic should.
[17:51] * Proverb heads downwards carefully with Missile_Rush.
[17:53] <TenMihara|GM> Missle_Rush and Proverb, upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, can see the open Stable entrance, a part of the large, gear-shaped door visible off to the side. Beyond, they can see the Stable Entry area, with a console near the door on the inside, a short flight of stairs leading to a walkway with doors going straight, left, and right
[17:55] * Proverb calls back up the stairs. "Clear!"
[17:56] * Missile_Rush simply trots on ahead with no trepidation, past the entrance and heading for the door leading straight onwards.
[17:56] <TenMihara|GM> The landing at the bottom of the stairs jsut before the Stable Entrance is large enough for everypony to congrgate

[17:57] * Razor was right behind Missile_Rush, so can see for herself.
[17:58] * Missile_Rush just keeps moving straight ahead.
[17:58] * Green_Field heads down after Proverb yells clear.
[17:58] * Logic gets to the bottom of the stairs before the stable entrance!
[18:06] * Purple_Kay keeps his eye on his EFS as he follows along.
[18:08] <TenMihara|GM> Purple_Kay's EFS still can't pick up anything inside the Stable from the outside
[18:11] <TenMihara|GM> The three doors inside the Stable's entrance hall are all, presently, closed
[18:12] * Purple_Kay moves up with the others down to the bottom of the stairs, moving just inside the stable's massive door.
[18:13] * Proverb flips over to her Battle Rifle, loading in AP rounds and taking up position near Purple_Kay.
[18:14] * Harmony sticks close to Purple_Kay, rifle ready.
[18:14] * Missile_Rush keeps a sharp eye.
[18:16] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy sticks close to Green_Field, "D-do you think there are more?"
[18:17] <Green_Field> "Even if there arn't, we she proceed like there are."
[18:18] * Purple_Kay picks out the new female voice behind him, he turns back, brow quirked. He sees Daisy and shakes it off. There will be time to question that later.
[19:29] <TenMihara|GM> The party is assembled at the Stable Entrance with the door open before them
[19:32] * Purple_Kay takes a few steps inside, casting his gave around and keeping an eye on his EFS readout.
[19:33] * Missile_Rush trots with Purple_Kay, eyes sharp and looking about.
[19:33] * Proverb steps in after Purple_Kay, looking around carefully as well.
[19:33] <TenMihara|GM> Once Purple_Kay crosses the boundary into the Stable form the outside, his EFS lights up with three signals to the upper right, just on the edge of what it could detect
[19:34] * Purple_Kay makes a quick note of the contacts colors.
[19:36] <TenMihara|GM> Three reds, but they're stationary
[19:37] * Razor is ready to throw down! She follows close and keeps an eye out, ready to fight at the first sign of trouble!
[19:37] * Purple_Kay motions to the others. "Three hostiles on the EFS, that way." He points off in their direction.
[19:38] * Missile_Rush nods to Purple_Kay. "Shall we approach?"
[19:39] * Purple_Kay nods. "Yeah. Let's." He moves forward a bit, his heavy hooffalls hard to miss.
[19:39] <TenMihara|GM> There are also the doors to the front, and to the left. A sign above the central door reads 'Atrium, Cafeteria'. The one above the left reads 'Residential, Engineering'. The right sign indicates 'Overmare Wing, Security'
[19:40] <TenMihara|GM> *Clinic is also listed on the central door
[19:40] * Proverb stays in the middle of the group, following along.
[19:40] * Missile_Rush trots right alongside Purple_Kay. Beside the enormous stallion beside him, he must appear rather small.
[19:40] * Purple_Kay motions to the door to the right. "Signal is from over here. Maybe security?"
[19:42] * Missile_Rush looks to Purple_Kay. "That, or something else. Those Rangers we killed earlier mentioned a captain and her pet paladins. That might be it."
[19:43] * Proverb frowns. "Load AP rounds if you've got 'em."
[19:45] * Purple_Kay nods. "Won't do much against that heavy armor up close and confined like this." He follows the red dots forward.
[19:45] * Missile_Rush nods. "But if we run into the captain, don't shoot. I have a few questions that need answering."
[19:46] <TenMihara|GM> The three Red marks are to the right, not forward
[19:48] * Razor gives a snort. "You'd better talk fast then, Sparky."
[19:48] * Purple_Kay is still moving forward toward the right door. Toward Security and the Overmares Quarters. "Well, I'd hate to give up surpise on a Ranger Captain, if we get it."
[19:48] <TenMihara|GM> The door has been locked
[19:48] * Green_Field stands back, keeping Daisy close, weapons drawn.
[19:49] <TenMihara|GM> Daisy keeps her tail curled around Green's other pistol
[19:51] * Purple_Kay looks back to Proverb. "You're up, Wishy."
[19:52] * Proverb nods to Purple_Kay, stepping up to the door and working her lockpicking skills on it.
[19:54] <TenMihara|GM> Proverb gets it on the first go, the door sliding open with a pneumatic hiss. There's another door just opposite this one, then a hallway leading in deeper, towards the marks on Kay's EFS
[19:55] * Purple_Kay "Good job. Hostiles still up ahead." He starts heading forward.
[19:56] * Missile_Rush trots alongside Purple_Kay.
[19:58] * Proverb moves forward carefully, weapon at the ready.
[19:58] * Proverb also attempts to sneak.
[19:59] * Razor follows behind, keeping out of sight as well!
[20:00] * Purple_Kay isn't very subtle, the metallic clap of his hooves on steel hard to miss.
[20:02] <TenMihara|GM> While the others are varying degrees of sneaky, Purple_Kay's loud, metallic hooffalls echo off the walls, and easily reach the far ends of the hallway
[20:03] * Proverb takes the safety off on her rifle...
[20:03] * Missile_Rush has been ready for a long time.
[20:04] * Harmony has also been ready!
[20:05] <TenMihara|GM> As the party reaches the middle of the hallway, a window to their left reveals where the Atrium of the Stable should be. Instead, there's a big empty hole in the ground wit ha dirt floor and piles of pony skeletons
[20:05] <Proverb> "The fuck..."
[20:07] * Purple_Kay shakes his head. He doesn't pay it much mind, there are still red indicators on his EFS. He continues heading that direction.
[20:07] <TenMihara|GM> the cavernous empty room has no lighting save for what spills in from the window, and others further along
[20:08] * Missile_Rush frowns at the skeletons, looking about. He looks up at the ceiling. Was there a vantage point where he could fly and survey what was below?
[20:09] <TenMihara|GM> It basically looks like someone jsut stopped building the Stable part-way through. There's no roof, no lighting, and no floor. Just the wall on the side the group currently occupied
[20:10] * Missile_Rush spreads his wings to fly up as high as the space will allow him, looking for a place to perch.
[20:10] * Proverb thinks Missile_Rush is asking to get himself shot.
[20:11] * Logic creeps around and narrows his eyes.
[20:11] <TenMihara|GM> There is no place to perch
[20:11] <TenMihara|GM> The hallway is narrow, and only 10ft high to the ceiling
[20:11] * Purple_Kay checks his EFS again, looking to see if the indicators are off in the darkness of the wouldbe atrium, or off farther down the hall where Security and the Overmare's Office assumably are.
[20:12] <TenMihara|GM> The markers are all further down, and to the right. They pass an open door labeled 'Security', but there's not even a room past the door. Just a slight indentation in the dirt
[20:14] * Missile_Rush curses his luck, coming back down to the floor. A sudden thought occurs to him, as he looks to the door labeled "Security", placing a hoof into the indentation.
[20:14] <TenMihara|GM> It's solid earth.
[20:14] * Purple_Kay moves past it. "The markers are farther this way."
[20:15] * Missile_Rush frowns, turning to Purple_Kay. "Where, exactly? I can try and scout it for you>"
[20:15] <Missile_Rush> *."
[20:16] <TenMihara|GM> Two of the markers shift and a hiss comes from the other end of the hallway. about 50ft down, light spills in from another door, and two Steel Rangers, their armour slightly more advanced looking than the two already killed, step out. "Shit, they must have gotten past the Knights." "I knew they were useless."
[20:16] <TenMihara|GM> One of them is equipped with a Missile Launcher and GMG, the other with a flamethrower and a MInigun.
[20:16] * Purple_Kay motions with his hoof, down the hall and to the right. "Off that..." He draws bead on them.
[20:16] * Proverb lines up her scope's reticule on their heads.
[20:20] * Purple_Kay hollars. "You're outgunned! We'll smear you if we have ta, but you can power down, ditch the suits, and trot away."
[20:23] <TenMihara|GM> "As if we'd let tribals get the better of us." "You locked?" "Yes."
[20:25] * Proverb decides it's time to try out these AP round she has for her new SVD. She lines up 4 headshots on the left Ranger, and opens fire.
[20:30] <TenMihara|GM> THe Minigun and Flamer Ranger's head is applesauced, although the Helmet remains in remarkably good shape otherwise
[20:31] <Proverb> "Might want to reconsider fuckers!"
[20:40] * Razor is just itching for a good fight. She's not just fighting for herself, now she's got to show Kay just how much better she's gotten. With only a moment's hesitation, she decides to take the Buck she was going to take earlier, and she charges right in, attempting to tackle the explosives saddle Ranger to the ground.
[20:44] <TenMihara|GM> Razor hitting the Power armoured pony is like trying to tackle a brick wall. It doesn't go so well
[20:47] * Razor is undeterred! She gives the Ranger a wicked grin and gives three quick slashes at his head.
[20:54] <TenMihara|GM> The Ranger growls as Razor's extra sharp lightning blade does a number on his helmet, the vizor gaining a nasty gash and the electronics within sparking
[20:57] <TenMihara|GM> A voice comes from inside the room. "Enough." An elegant looking unicorn mare in classy yet functional barding armoured mesh robes steps out of the room. She looks to be about Kay's age, but does not have his level of disfiguring scars.
[20:59] * Razor gives a derisive snort. "What? Ready to surrender?"
[21:00] * Proverb keeps her aim trained on the mare as she exits. "It'd be a wise choice.
[21:00] <Proverb> "*
[21:00] <TenMihara|GM> The unicorn mare's horn glows, and her voice gets loud. "Tribals. You have assaulted and killed three Steel Rangers. If you do not desire further retribution upon yourselves, you will allow my Paladin and I to depart with our fallen companions."
[21:01] <TenMihara|GM> The Paladin scowls, or at least looks like he's scowling through the gash in his visor, but his helmet sparking keeps him from saying anything.
[21:01] * Purple_Kay draws down on her. "You aren't in any real position to be giving orders."
[21:03] <TenMihara|GM> The mare shakes her head, "A Steel Ranger is always in a position of authority over tribals such as yourselves. Your strength of arms currently outmatches what we have remaining, so I am offering you the chance to not bring upon yourselves further retribution. There is naught of value here anyways."
[21:04] * Purple_Kay glances over to Harmony. She's the wiz with words. "You can have the bodies, but the spoils are ours."
[21:05] <TenMihara|GM> The mare frowns, "Unacceptable. You already desecrate the armour of a Ranger by wearing it yourself. I will not allow my fallen subordinates such a disgrace."
[21:05] <Proverb> "Too bad."
[21:07] * Razor scowls at the unicorn. "You'd better watch your fuckin' mouth, because you're only digging yourself deeper! Either you leave with nothing but your coats, or we can /make/ you leave with less!"
[21:07] * Harmony shakes her head with a frown. "You will agree to his request. You have seen our firepower. You cannot match it."
[21:08] * Purple_Kay thinks a moment, then whispers to Harmony.
[21:08] <TenMihara|GM> The Unicorn mare nods, "I am aware of that. However, if you reinitiate hostilities, at least one of you will pay for it with your life. So, what do you value more?"
[21:10] * Proverb swivles her aim, taking her time to focus in on the armored ranger's exposed eye. "Wouldn't be too confident there if I was you."
[21:10] * Missile_Rush steps up to the unicorn. "Not before we destroy you both and your livelihood with it. So let's talk."
[21:11] * Razor grinds one of her hooves against the floor. She gives the mare a very serious look. "And if you don't comply, we can make it take /hours/ before you die. I'll skin you alive, and you can watch us prepare it to be added to my armor. Sound good to you?"
[21:12] <Harmony> "Then a trade," Harmony suggests. "
[21:13] <Harmony> "The bodies and equipment for a broadcaster. I am sure that you have one, yes?"
[21:13] <TenMihara|GM> The unicorn mare looks to Harmony. "What do you need it for?"
[21:14] * Missile_Rush looks back. It seems the others have this under control. He steps back and stays quiet once again. Once again.
[21:17] * Razor gives harmony a glare. Compromising with Ranger scum is something unthinkable.
[21:17] * Harmony rolls her eyes. "Does that truly matter to you so long as you are able to get the bodies and weaponry?"
[21:20] <TenMihara|GM> The mare nods, "Of course it does. I'm not giving anything to a Tribal without knowing what they plan to do with it. Don't get me wrong, I'm well aware not all Tribals are unintelligent, so I can't have you taking advantage of something that might compromise the Steel Ranger operations."
[21:25] * Razor snorts. "Believe me, if we wanted to 'compromise' your 'operations', you'd be strapped to a table and I'd be playing surgeon right now!"
[21:25] * Harmony nods. "Then if it pleases you-- no, we are not using it against the Rangers. Simply to subdue a pack of mutated creatures to the south that we are to deal with."

[21:29] * Harmony steps to the side to allow Purple_Kay to take it.
[21:30] * Purple_Kay grasps it with his manipulator arm.
[21:30] * Logic pokes out of the shadows. "And we also need a terminal with Stable-Tec OS4 installed."
[21:31] <TenMihara|GM> The mare looks to her companion, "Once they leave, we shall see about reporting what has happened and having our companions bodies recovered." She looks to the party; "You may leave now."
[21:32] * Razor snorts. "Ha! Sorry, sister, it's YOU who's leaving, not us!"
[21:33] * Purple_Kay looks over to Razor. "Come on, Kid. This place is empty. We aren't going to find anything more here."
[21:34] * Logic frowns, then slinks off back into the shadows.
[21:37] * Logic looks at Purple. "The last Overmare's office I was in had a bunch of terminals in it." He said, prodding his security vest.
[21:37] * Purple_Kay looks at the mare. "Mind stepping aside?"
[21:38] <TenMihara|GM> The mare frowns, "Yes."
[21:39] * Razor eyes Purple_Kay. "They're /Rangers/. I wouldn't trust them to tell me it was raining even if I was standing in it."
[21:39] <Proverb> "I'd do what he says, or your buddy's brains here will become good friends with the wall."
[21:40] * Razor adds to Proverb's threat, "And your cutie mark will be the next addition to my armor."
[21:40] <Proverb> "And then your brains will join his in a happy reunion."
[21:44] <TenMihara|GM> The mare doesn't move. "You have what you requested, and the Overmare's terminal setup would be useless if removed. Now leave."
[21:47] * Logic shrugs. "I just want a terminal to, like, go home with. I'm the best fucking hacker in Hoofington."
[21:49] <TenMihara|GM> The mare frowns, "I already stated that this Stable was empty. You can see for yourself through the atrium window."
[21:50] * Harmony shrugs. "As you said, it would be useless if removed. Can you not allow a small colt to simply take a look?"
[21:50] <TenMihara|GM> The mare frowns, "No. You have what you wanted, now leave."
[21:50] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth, his tick of agitation.
[21:51] * Proverb tightens her grip on her rifle, getting a nice good bead on that exposed eye.
[21:52] * Purple_Kay "Ma'am. This doesn't have to get more bloody. You're rational. Think about it."
[21:54] <TenMihara|GM> The mare frowns, "It's bad enough that I had to concede to your current advantage in firepower. You will get nothing else."
[21:55] <Proverb> "Do you really want to go through with this? I'd rather take what we need and go, than kill you for it."

[21:56] <TenMihara|GM> The mare frowns, "You have what you wanted and the only terminal here cannot be removed. There is nothing more for you to gain."
[21:57] * Purple_Kay frowns. "Let our tech verify it can't be removed. You can watch him work. If it honestly can't. We leave."
[21:58] * Logic smirks. Bitch, I got skills. Kay'll back me up.
[22:03] <TenMihara|GM> The mare frowns, then sighs. "Alright. Just be quick about it." She stes out of the door frame.

[22:04] * Purple_Kay nods. "Thank you for being understanding. Let's take a look G. Then we can all head out." He moves to follow behind Logic.
[22:05] * Logic smirks, then heads on up.
[22:06] <TenMihara|GM> The remaining Paladin keeps his weapons trained into the room.
[22:06] <TenMihara|GM> The Overmare's terminal is a large system set into the wall behind a semicircular desk
[22:08] * Logic eagerly gets at it. "So, what kind of operating system do these things use?"
[22:09] * Purple_Kay looks at the big system from a purely mechanical standpoint, seeing if it can be removed or cut down in a way for transport.
[22:10] <TenMihara|GM> The terminal systems seems to be barely functional, with dwindling power coming to it. Attempting to remove it would likely fry the whole thing, and dismantling it wouldn't do any good.
[22:10] * Green_Field stands silent the whole time, waiting for things to go bad and for him to be needed.
[22:11] * Proverb remains in the hall as well for now.
[22:13] * Purple_Kay sucks his teeth. "Yep... that's not going anywhere." He walks over to Logic. "Is it the operating system you need? If it is, maybe you can clone the installation over. Make a copy to use if we get a terminal with a different system."
[22:13] * Razor absolutely radiates hate and annoyance. It's a miracle she's managed to not just buck the mare in the snout and/or try to cut her throat yet.
[22:14] * Logic attempts to hack into it and see what the specifications of the thing is.
[22:14] * Logic thinks again and makes sure there was no camera footage of them entering or will be of them leaving.
[22:16] <TenMihara|GM> Logic can see no cameras or security recordings of any kind in the system
[22:17] * Logic does a little hacking to see if there's anything interesting in the system, and if not, just deigns to let this one go.

[22:21] * Purple_Kay takes a good look at the mare.
[22:22] <TenMihara|GM> The mare looks like she has ice in her veins, and her eyes are without any hesitation or wavering
[22:24] * Purple_Kay gives her a smile. "Wise to choose life over pride. Don't suppose you'd give me the name of the most sensible Scribe I've met."
[22:24] * Logic does a little bit of debugging. He smirks. Man, this was just full of spaghetti code, anyway. He took a little while longer to update their systems and add his own flair to his upgrade. His flair being a lovingly rendered ASCII image of a pony's ass as a default beginning screen. "Pff. [22:25] <TenMihara|GM> THe mare looks Kay over, "If you give me the name and tags of the Ranger you took that armour from."
[22:29] * Razor gives Purple_Kay a derisive snort. She's not happy at his fraternizing with the enemy.
[22:29] * Logic logged off and stepped away. "Yeah, I don't think this is movable." He noted, shrugging.
[22:31] * Purple_Kay sends his arm back into a flank compartment, pulling out some tags. He brings them up in front of his face to read. "I suppose you mean these. Found them when I was modifying it. Never met the Ranger, I purchased it."
[22:32] <TenMihara|GM> The mare takes the tags and looks them over. "I see." She slips them away without any further word on the subject. "My name is Blizzard."
[22:35] * Purple_Kay nods. "Shame we couldn't have negotiated before the blood. We'll be going now." He moves past her through the door.
[22:37] * Logic shrugs. "If you need someone to fix your programming again or your head, I'll be around Hoofington." He said dismissively, following suit after Purple_Kay.

[22:40] * Purple_Kay glances at Missile_Rush and the others as he passes.
[22:40] * Razor gives an annoyed little growl and follows behind Purple_Kay. "If you're so happy to talk with a /Ranger/, then why don't you go take her to fucking bed!" She says this loud enough for both Rangers to hear even as she leaves.
[22:40] * Green_Field follows wordlessly behind.
[22:41] * Proverb bring s up the rear.
[22:41] <TenMihara|GM> Blizzard and her Paladin do not attack the group as they leave
[22:42] * Purple_Kay looks to Razor as he trots. "We got the drop on them, twice. None of us got hurt. She's right that they could have really hurt or killed one of us if we'd pressed. I'd rather us all stay alive."
[22:47] * Purple_Kay keeps trotting for the exit, getting out of earshot before he looks over to Logic. "So, we still need to be around here, or can we pop off somewhere and not be near here anymore?"
[22:48] * Logic scruffs his chin. "No idea. I was just wanting a terminal because I wanted a terminal. It can wait."
