  3. Stage 1: lv6 hyper @ midboss during 1st phase, finish stage with lv5 hyper in stock - target score after EOS: 800mil

  5. St2: beginning half of stage, lv6 hyper, try to get to lv6 during midboss, pop during final phase, charge back to lv10 by end of boss, target after EOS: 2bil

St3: pop lv10 hyper after popcorn builds up, get to lv6 before midboss, focus on all sideguns during midboss, try to time bullet cancel from buildings well, pop lv6+ hyper during 2nd "half" of midboss fight, careful not to lose chain after midboss - use tap autofire and laser carefully, super-laser sparsely to slowly build hyper back up - not enough enemy density in 2nd half of stage to make it worthwhile - target after EOS: 7bil

  9. St4: Pop early hyper to build chain, save to lv6+ for midboss, pop after first phase, use small hypers after midboss to build gauge/hits, start to use superlaser to boost hypers quickly after the "wall" - use at lv6+ - target after EOS: 10-11bil

  11. St5: DON'T FUCKING GET HIT. Pop hypers at lv6-10 unless it's an emergency or you need to quickly recharge the gauge. Small bullet 3-way popcorn give good stars with super-laser. DO NOT use hyper on first midboss. Save for 2nd midboss during large spread, use Lv6+, that SHOULD allow a superlaser recharge off 3rd midboss final attack phase. In 2nd half of stage, ALWAYS use super laser on bullet-cancelling enemies. Use final gauntlet to pop as many hypers as possible (especially lv6+ if possible). With an unbroken chain, this will be worth a LOT of points. Target: 20bil by Kouryuu

  13. Kouryuu: Try to avoid hypering until Lv6+ unless needed for survival. BOMBING IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN AUTOBOMBING if shit hits the fan. During the "honeycomb" phase, don't hyper. Save hyper for last attack to end it quickly. It's a fucking bitch even on novice. Try to end the honeycomb phase with superlaser for HUGE recharge.

  15. Hibachi: Do not start directly under her. I find the left side to be safer, but I'm pretty sure that's all in my head. AFTER INITIAL PHASE GET THE FUCK OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN. Third phase: Stay at the bottom of the screen and just to the left of hibachi. Fourth phase: Build hypers here by staying in melee range. It's tempting to use the aura to build hits, but don't do it. Fifth phase: THE FUCKING WASHING MACHINE PHASE. NOW you should use your hyper when you're about to get hit--this is easily the most dangerous part of the fight. Final phase: Touhou Easy Modo - just dodge shit. TARGET - 21-22bil

  17. Inbachi - First phase: More Touhou Easy Modo - dodge shit. Second phase: the diagonal bullets are easy... watch out for the aimed shots and don't get cornered - try to save hyper. Third phase: pop hyper here. Fourth: end with superlaser for recharge. Final: hyper. dodge shit. don't die. MAKE SURE TO FINISH THIS FIGHT AT RANK 50 FOR A BONUS OF 5 BILLION AT EOS.

  21. NOTES: with the exception of final bosses, you SHOULD NOT hyper during bosses. The EOS bonus for chaining is NOT very substantial until st5 and even then, only if you've managed to not fuck it up. Chain value at EOS is HIT x 20,000. This means a 25k chain is worth 500mil and a 15k chain is worth 300mil. Compare this to using that hyper at the beginning of a stage to VERY quickly jack up the hit counter and GP which will affect the rest of the stage, and suddenly 200mil isn't that big of a deal.

Bees are worth MAX times 1,000 (last in each stage is double), so ignoring stage 1 because lol, say you manage 20k hits by the end of st2, so bees will be worth a total of 20k times 9 (7 bees at 1x and one bee at 2x) for an extra 180mil during the stage. Again, every little bit helps, but it isn't worth blowing a hyper during the boss just to up your hits by another 10k (if you're lucky) before the start of the next stage (going to into st4 with 30k hit max--very unlikely btw--would only make the bees worth another 90mil for the whole stage - when your final score should be pushing 28bil - 0.09 doesn't mean too terribly much.
