  20. Earthbending, one of the four elemental bending arts, is the geokinetic ability to manipulate earth and rock in all their various forms, prevalent in the Earth Kingdom and the United Republic.
  21. Earth is the element of substance, while the people of the Earth Kingdom are diverse, strong, and enduring.Following the lion turtles' decision to relinquish their role as protectors of mankind, Oma and Shu were the first earthbenders to learn this art from the badgermoles.
  22. The key to earthbending is utilizing neutral jing, which involves waiting and listening for the right moment to strike and, when that moment comes, acting decisively. In other words, earthbenders generally endure their enemies' attacks until the right opportunity to counterattack reveals itself.

  43. Waterbending, one of the four elemental bending arts, is the hydrokinetic ability to control water in all of its various forms. This type of bending is used by the people of the Water Tribe, who are divided into the Southern, Northern, and lesser known Foggy Swamp tribes, as well as those of the United Republic, each with their own unique bending style.
  44. Water is the element of change. The moon is the source of power in waterbending, and the original waterbenders learned to bend by observing how the moon pushed and pulled the tides. The Water Tribes are the only people who did not learn bending from an animal, though the Moon and Ocean Spirits took the form of koi fish in the mortal world near the beginning of the Avatar World.
  45. The fighting style of waterbending is mostly fluid and graceful, acting in concert with the environment. Foggy Swamp style waterbending, however, is more rigid and straight. Waterbenders deal with the flow of energy; they let their defense become their offense, turning their opponents' own forces against them. Even when waterbenders do take an attack stance, their moves always appear to flow from one to the other.

  66. AirSweep
  67. Airbending, one of the four elemental bending arts, is the aerokinetic ability to control and manipulate air. The peaceful Air Nomads utilized this type of bending in their everyday lives.
  68. Air is the element of freedom. The Air Nomads detached themselves from worldly problems and concerns; finding peace and freedom was the key to solving their difficulties in life. Airbenders continually sought spiritual enlightenment, and, as a result, all children born into the Air Nomads were benders. The first airbenders learned their art from the flying bison.
  69. The key to airbending is flexibility and finding and following the path of least resistance. Airbending is notable for being almost purely defensive, as well as the most dynamic of the four bending arts. Airbenders can overwhelm many opponents at once with large and powerful attacks that could prove fatal; however, due to the pacifist nature of the Air Nomads, such attacks are rarely used. Due to their aforementioned spirituality, they often adapt to the situation surrounding them and employ negative jing, preferring evasive maneuvers as opposed to direct confrontation.

  90. Firebending, one of the four elemental bending arts, is the pyrokinetic ability to control fire. It is unique among the bending arts, as it is the only one in which the performer can generate the element. The first human firebenders lived in a city atop a lion turtle during the era of Raava and the art later spread to the Sun Warriors, the Fire Nation, and the United Republic of Nations. The Earth Kingdom also has a small firebending minority.
  91. As described by Iroh, fire is the element of power, consisting of overpowering force tempered by the unflinching will to accomplish tasks and desires. However, during the Hundred Year War, a militaristic Fire Nation twisted this into firebending being fueled by rage, hatred, and anger. Firebending draws its power from the sun, and the first human firebenders derived their firebending techniques from the dragons.
  92. Firebending is known for its intense and aggressive attacking style and general lack of adequate defensive moves, although firebenders can modify offensive maneuvers to function as a defense, such as creating large walls of fire or shooting down incoming attacks with fire jabs.
  93. Chi:

  106. QuickStrike
  107. SwiftKick
  108. Combos
  109. Immobilize
  110. Chi blocking is an ancient technique that has been practiced in secret for centuries. It is a special ability that Ty Lee, the Kyoshi Warriors, and later the Equalists, utilized in combat against their enemies. Blocking someone's chi renders the victim's muscles useless and temporarily disables a bender's abilities. This earned Katara's fear and spite after Ty Lee blocked her chi in Omashu. Chi blocking is mainly used by non-benders as a way of self-defense or even an attack form.

  117. No combos.... RIP
  118. The Avatar, formed initially when Wan permanently fused with Raava during the Harmonic Convergence of 9,829 BG, is the human embodiment of light and peace through the connection with the Avatar Spirit. As the only physical being with the ability to bend all four elements, it is considered the Avatar's duty to master the four bending arts and use that power to keep balance among the four nations of the world, as well as between mankind and spirits. Upon death, the Avatar Spirit causes the Avatar to reincarnate into the next nation, dictated by the cyclic order: fire, air, water, and earth. Mirroring the order in which the first Avatar, Wan, learned the elements, this is also the traditional order in which any one incarnation is to master the elements, beginning with the bending art of the Avatar's birth nation. The reincarnation cycle can only be broken if the Avatar is killed while in the Avatar State, Raava is removed from the Avatar and destroyed, or the Avatar Spirit is compromised by a spiritual infection.

  243. Home Page:
  244. The Home Page is the hub for the whole community. Important announcements is what makes this place special. If you are waiting for something to be announced, your best bet to look for the release is on the Home Page. This section of the website also holds things such as the ShoutBox, Twitter Feed, Status Updates, and important links. If you're ever in need of assistance, the Home Page is this best place to go!
  245. Forums:
  246. The forums is a VERY interesting place. The forums is where most of the community interaction takes place, other than in the Shout Box and in-game. In the forums you can ask for help, get information, post suggestions and even just talk with the community. There are difference sections of the Forums you should be well acquainted with:
  247. Hub Page
  248. You won't find TOO much community activity going on here other than News Updates, but this is a neat place if you're into information and applications! This is the area of the forums where you can look if you're in Need of Help or if you're looking to Apply for Staff.
  249. Project Hub
  250. This page is the MOST active area of the forums. Here is where all the suggestions and most debates take place and you can ask for Development Help. In this section of the forums, you can make suggestions for each of the Project Korra plugins (Core, RPG, Spirits, Probending, Items) and even a Resource Pack. There are some rules and recommendations to making a suggestion though:
  251. • 1 suggestion PER thread. No more than one suggestion per thread or it will almost certainly be denied.
  252. • Explain your ideas elaborately so that the Concept Designers, Developers and other community members can easily understand what you're trying to say. Extra points for including visuals like pictures, gifs, or scenes from the show.
  253. Here's a more in depth look in a Guide To Suggestions.
  254. Community Hub
  255. Here is where you can discuss anything unrelated to the development of any of the projects (Core, RPG, Spirits, Probending, Items, etc). You can also offer Website Suggestions and share your favorite Media (Like pictures, videos, gifs, TV shows, movies, memes, etc). If you want to get involved with the Project Korra community, this would be my first place to go!
  256. Downloads
  257. This is the area of the website where the threads for EACH Add-On ability will be, as well as some official releases. Go here to suggest ideas to Add-On Creators or suggest ideas to improve their current abilities.
  258. The Jasmine Dragon
  259. This is the most casual section of the Project Korra website. You can chit-chat in few other sections too but this is the only section that's REALLY all about just CHIT-CHAT! Come here to discuss Avatar: The Last Airbender or The Legend of Korra!
  260. Downloads:
  261. This is the area of the server where you can download all of the Add-On abilities created by local developers. There's a large variety of moves and..... Oh hey look.... I have some moves too! Check them out HERE! #ShamelessSelfPromo
  262. Servers:
  263. As we continue our trek across the website we see a quaint Loony frolicking in the..... Oh hey look at those Servers! If you find yourself bored and in need of some entertainment, this is the place for you!
  264. Team:
  265. In this page, we can see all a list of all the hard working Project Korra staff members! Of course... I guess they aren't so hard working if they had their heads cut off and put up for display...
  266. Report a Bug:
  267. This is a very important area of the website. If you ever have any bugs (issues) on your server involving the Project Korra plugin, you should submit them here! Clicking on the tab will tell you all of the necessary stuff you will need to report a bug. When describing your issue, be sure to be as exact as possible and to provide any information as you can. This is some of the stuff you will need:
  268. • Console errors (If applicable)
  269. • Debug file
  270. • Descriptive information summary
  271. • Spigot Version (Of the server)
  272. • Minecraft Version (Of the server)
  273. • Project Korra Version
  274. • List of installed Add-On abilities (If applicable)
  275. Bug Reports really help the developers to do their job and really SQUASH those buggies. If you EVER come across an issue, this is the best way to resolve it.
  276. Become a Sponsor:
