Name: Derick sanders

Physical description: The sap green turtle armor overlaps the hunter green scales that cover Derick Sanders. The most significant piece of turtle armor rests upon his head and leads down to his tail, 4 small slits in the piece, keeping movement easy. The spinal armor also clasps around Derick in a rib cage fashion. Making him appear to be wearing bones. He has incredibly strong jaws which protrude from his face. Derick's chest to waist down still looks fairly human; disregarding the scales and outer rib cage.

Attire: He wears a white lab coat over what ever he is wearing at the time. ALWAYS.

Weapons: Claws, speed, and a strong jaws.

Capabilities: Like most splicings, his transformations was carefully monitored to prevent unwanted mutations.

Turtle shell armor: He has smooth sap green bony turtle-like armor placed along his chest, legs and arms. As if a skeleton on the outside of his body. It gives the appearance of a battle ready warrior. This improves his durability, but most weapons easily pierce his armor.

Claws: While his claws are formidable weapons, he does not use his claws in battle. He prefers to be non-lethal. Derick, uses his fists instead. (MOST OF THE TIME) The hunter green bony armor on his fist makes for a better punch.

Arm Blades: You would not ordinarily see these on him because he cuts them off. They only appear when he injects himself with his healing tool. Though when they show up. They stay within the length of his arms. The arm blades are made up of the bony turtle armor. It definitely isn’t as strong as a normal sword but when any damage is recovered almost immediately it gets pretty frustrating.

Spikes: They are no good as a practical weapon but they spring up all over his body when the healing tool is in use.

Powerful Jaws: He has a slender head in which Derick’s jaws protrude from his face and are easily visible. He is capable of achieving a bit down force of 5000 per square inch, similar to a crocodile.

History: (HE HAZ A WIFY BUTT I WON'T TALK ABOUT DAT :x) He was an expert in toxicology before joining a small intelligent body of organized crime named who called themselves the reborn. They were capable of splicing people into “multi-spliced” beings. They wanted however to have a surefire way to ensure that people would live through the operation so they could charge a higher price. So they hired Derick Sanders. He couldn’t make any progress without having a “multi-spliced” to work on. He told the reborn about this and they “multi-spliced” him in return ( Nice people. :3 ). He began testing in his little apartment that he owned. Having to be quite careful of others because he wasn’t a registered “multi-splice”. Being a master in toxicology, he kept many toxins in a private fridge. Now having reptile D.N.A. most poisons that could harm him previously no longer does. This opened the amount of poisons he could use as a remedy. Though he did not find a remedy, he found a treatment. Like most “multi-splices” the reason for death is the blood cells in the said patient won’t work together. In fact, they fight each other. Treating the different blood cells like enemies. Like a free for all. The treatment Derick made forces the cells to work together with great speed. This is not a cure. It is a treatment. It only heals the damage done, thus returning him to the state he was in the day he was spliced. With unwanted mutations. When done with battle or healing he will cut them off. (I will probably have to come up with another reason that multi-spliced die. Or at least... a better one. >.>)


Personality: He is a scientist who has curiosity for the unknown, with a bad sense of direction. He also has tendencies to forget his new found strength. Derick, is self conscious about his complexion and doesn't like to be touched because of it. Originally, before he was spliced Derick, was quite a handsome man. It’s hard to see that now under the battle threatening face that hides his own. When in battle situations Derick has a bad habit of rushing in to join up without asking any questions due to a weird mix of predatory instincts and human desire. He of course was not nearly this aggressive beforehand.
