Heroes of the Commune

The Twins [Jack and Jill]
"Jack and Jill are some of the younger folks among the Commune. Fraternal Twins and full of energy, they're less eager to settle down as opposed to build houses, fields, roads and allow others to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Jack has an on-again, off-again relationship with Betty White, while Jill has been going steady with Driver after an amiable breakup with Harv."

Scout: Ol' Johnny
"A restless soul, Ol' Johnny likes being home - but ends up leaving for walkabouts a lot. Probably because his wife, kids, and grandkids all live under his roof, and a man's got to spend some time away from family to really appreciate them! Johnny has a keen eye for scenery, and has spotted a few things others might have missed."

Industry/Infrastructure: Harv
"Harv is solid and dependable, and likes making things - the bigger the project, the better! It also got him looked at askance because he doesn't care about Mother Earth as much as the rest of the commune does, although he still doesn't like polluting. He dated JIll for a while, but broke it off after one too many bad poetry nights."

Military/Salvage: Betty White
"Betty White was named for an old American heroine, who took no crap from others and pretty much kicked ass while still being sweet, and she's lived up to her name. She's probably the most martial inclined of the Commune, and handles most of the Military stuff, as well as salvage operations in more hostile territory. She's too tempermental to settle down with Jack, who keeps haring off to secure more territory, but they don't really see anyone else either."

Agriculturalist: Mister Borlaug
"Mister Borlaug loves his plants. He's a bit plant crazy. We think he's a bit obsessed with plants, and that's saying something man. But he knows them and grows them like no other. He joined the Commune fairly recently, and he's on the straight and narrow, but we still don't know if Mister is a title or his first name."

Car and Mechanics: Driver
"Our most recent recruit. He's really good with cars and engines and mechanical things, so he hangs out with Harv some. We put him in charge of our vehicles. Driver doesn't seem to be his name, just a title. He came to us, half-dead, on foot from someplace to the "East, maybe a bit South." He's refused to say more on the subject, but he's managed to catch Jill's eye somehow. The two have been going steady, with Jill bringing Driver further into the community."
