This connection prevents the moves from taking a move slot and allows weather effects to be summoned as a free action, however the weather will not take effect on the first round. E.g.: Charizard uses Sunny Day (Free action) and Flamethrower (Standard action) on one turn, however it will do no extra damage this round and any water attacks will deal full damage.
