  1. Sarah Jones: Then why was NCAFC not pushing for Naomi 1 Rachel 2 SWP cunt- on the bonfire ?
  2.
  3. Sarah Noble: Please don't call Tomas Evans a cunt. Cunts are lovely things. Tomas Evans is not.
  4.
  5. Sarah Jones: Also cunts are neutral things and so is calling people them.
  6.
  7. Stef Newton: And can we not use sexist language please (not that my last safe space complaint went anywhere)
  8.
  9. Sarah Jones: Who is using sexist language?
  10.
  11. Aisling Gallagher: *safe spaaaaace please*
  12.
  13. Sarah Noble: As a woman who doesn't have [acunt] and would really like one, I really don't like the word used as a gendered insult.
  14.
  15. Sarah Jones: I am not using it as a gendered insult I live in Scotland not America thanks, I will stop using it in this thread as women like you have asked me not to, but in Scotland it is not sexist. As you said not all women have cunts and I don't really care for placing such value on a body part Ior others have thanks nor does it have anything to do with my gender.
  16.
  17. Lauren Tapp: Sarah enough, she asked you nicely not to use a word she finds offensive please abide by safe space policy.
  18.
  19. Sarah Noble: Of course. I mean, fuck, I obviously agitate for trans rights because I am trans, but I don't think there can be too much self-interest when it comes to an oppressed group's liberation.
  20.
  21. Sarah Jones: Scottish feminists hold a different view on the word than say American feminists and I wish people would respect that.
  22.
  23. Sarah Noble: Sarah, while I understand that in some places people will use the word more liberally, this remains a safe space, and I would really prefer it if the word isn't used in an insulting context, because it's often a shortcut to dysphoria for me, personally. I'm fine with it in a neutral context, but, please, not in a negative context.
