  10. [2012-07-08 03:11:06] * Shade fidgets, looking up at terminal from where she's cuddled with Midnight_Rain and Dusk_Beam
  11. [2012-07-08 03:12:03] <AMARDA_GM> The mare whom had healed the wounded Midnight_Rain wonders in during the night to check up on her patiant. Seeing her not where she left her, she goes and drags the mare back to a separate bed. "Really, patients these days." she says in a huff.

  16. [2012-07-08 03:13:38] * Grand_Finale snorts as he begings to roll over in bed, raising his hoof to his face to block out the light filtering through the stained and filthy window. "zzz- dont wannah wake up now...."
  17. [2012-07-08 03:13:43] * Terminal was tragically distracted by a reflection of light off a mug in the tavern at an inoppertune moment.

  28. [2012-07-08 03:15:57] <AMARDA_GM> "You young miss were not were I left you." She places Midnight_Rain in a bed then begins looking at her face closely. "Yeah, you should have stayed in bed, then you might not look so bad." She holds up a mirror to show Midnight_Rain her face.

  30. [2012-07-08 03:16:22] * Grand_Finale groans as he relets and lowers his hoof from his face, the battle had been short but he was still soar in the neck from swinging his blade. "...Maybe a rubdow from Zaliz?", Grand ponders aloud as he blinks lazily
  31. [2012-07-08 03:16:35] * Haywire listens to the voice of the alicorn. He tenses up and goes back to his projects.
  32. [2012-07-08 03:16:44] * Midnight_Rain screams at the sight of her own face "But that can't be me."
  33. [2012-07-08 03:17:40] <AMARDA_GM> THe mare nods soberly. "Yeah, shotguns and faces don't mix. You could get the scaring fixed, but that would cost caps, lots of caps."
  34. [2012-07-08 03:18:00] * Grand_Finale rolls his eyes, "Or maybe I could start the day off with that, guess sleeping beuty is finally awake, and from the sound of it her lungs are doing fine...."

  36. [2012-07-08 03:18:18] * Terminal frowns harder, "She is not with you two?"
  37. [2012-07-08 03:18:30] * Shade perks up and bolts "Gottagogivehugs."

  43. [2012-07-08 03:19:45] <AMARDA_GM> The mare pauses. "Last I heard it cost fifteen thousand for it, although it could easily have tripled by now."
  44. [2012-07-08 03:19:46] * Grand_Finale slowly stands and stretches with a yawn, takeing only the most casual of glances around his room. his eyes shifting between the window, the bed, the door, and his saddlebags.

  46. [2012-07-08 03:20:27] * Dusk_Beam groans and rolls over. Slowly getting up as Shade left.
  47. [2012-07-08 03:20:28] * Terminal stops pacing and just stands in the corner of the room, her mouth moving soundlessly.

  49. [2012-07-08 03:20:59] * Shade trots right the fuck past the mare with Rain and gives her a biiiiig 'ol changeling hug. which means basically clings to her chest with her stubby little arms
  50. [2012-07-08 03:21:15] * Haywire sighs. "I was already assisting Shade and Grand. Do I have to babysit all of you?"
  51. [2012-07-08 03:21:35] * Grand_Finale starts to dress for the day, strapping his saddle bags to his back and checking his weapons
  52. [2012-07-08 03:21:36] * Dusk_Beam shakes her head tierdly. "Huh.. Morning?" She blinks a couple of times. "What's going on, where is Shade and Rain?"
  53. [2012-07-08 03:21:41] <AMARDA_GM> The mare sighs again. "Your friend is right, at least you live, unlike those slavers."
  54. [2012-07-08 03:22:02] * Midnight_Rain hugs Shade tightly "Haywire shut it before i give you one."
  55. [2012-07-08 03:22:30] <Shade> "Will you all shut up? Complaining and threatening one another will not help."
  56. [2012-07-08 03:23:16] * Shade sighs and nuzzles Rain, looking up at her
  57. [2012-07-08 03:23:48] * Haywire shakes his head. "Threatening your companions. Your judgement never ceases to be brilliant..."
  58. [2012-07-08 03:23:53] * Dusk_Beam sighs. Looks up at Terminal, giving a smile. "..Sorry, good morning." She starts to equip her barding, could never be too safe.
  59. [2012-07-08 03:25:20] * Midnight_Rain just glares at Haywire a look of hate towards him "Shade i need a helmet i can't go around showing my face."
  60. [2012-07-08 03:25:27] <AMARDA_GM> The Sheriff enters the room looking rather warn out. "Well you lot are rich. That little scuffle netted you lot a thousand caps after taxes. Don't blow it all at once."
  61. [2012-07-08 03:26:18] * Shade frowns at Haywire "Don't exasperate the situation Haywire." She looks up at Midnight_Rain with a little smile "I still think you're cute!"
  62. [2012-07-08 03:26:44] <Midnight_Rain> "I doubt that is enough for this but i'll get better guns and armor and end what i started."
  63. [2012-07-08 03:26:58] * Grand_Finale trots into the main room of the bar, whisteling at the sherifs words. "Well how about that? I sure would call that a good nights work! Oh, good morning Rain, glad to see you still breathing, how is everypon ells doing?"
  64. [2012-07-08 03:28:47] * Grand_Finale looks around, "So 1000 between everypony who pitched in the fight? thats 5 ways, makeing it 200 caps each. I can live with that"
  65. [2012-07-08 03:29:12] * Dusk_Beam fidgets. "Ah, I'll go and check on Rain.." She says before leaving, moving to wherever Rain and the rest where.
  66. [2012-07-08 03:30:05] * Shade is straddling Midnight_Rain, nuzzling her chest comfortingly
  67. [2012-07-08 03:30:27] * Haywire scratches his muzzle, calculating in his ming. "I could make use of it..."
  68. [2012-07-08 03:30:37] <AMARDA_GM> The Sheriff sits down at one of the tables and purs one hell of a drink. "Anyone want some?"

  70. [2012-07-08 03:31:23] <Haywire> "I could use some of that too."
  71. [2012-07-08 03:32:06] * Grand_Finale "well I would but I have a long day ahead of me as soon as everypony is up and we have our caps devided between us". Grand then turns and faces the sherif, "Say, you wouldnt happen to have a library or book store in town would you?"
  72. [2012-07-08 03:33:25] * Dusk_Beam enters the room. "..morning ponies." She moves over to a chair to sit down. "Caps?" She raises an eyebrow.
  73. [2012-07-08 03:33:44] <AMARDA_GM> The Sheriff pauses, then nods his head. "Yeah we got some books, I'll take you there after this." He downs the drink in near one gulp then gets up. "Well, follow me."
  74. [2012-07-08 03:34:16] <AMARDA_GM> "Oh and before I forget." He tosses the bag onto one of the tables. "That's your caps."
  75. [2012-07-08 03:35:41] * Grand_Finale grins at this, "Sounds like a plan". As soon as the drink is done and the caps on the table Grand moves forward and scoops his share of the loot into his saddle bags, 200 caps. Then Grand turns and follows the sherif, "Lead the way", pausing only a moment to wave goodb to his compainions before exiting the bar, "Catch you lot around later!"
  76. [2012-07-08 03:36:12] * Shade lays her head on Rain'd chest and looks over at Grand "So 200 caps for all of use?"
  77. [2012-07-08 03:37:08] <AMARDA_GM> The Sheriff leads Grand_Finale to a building that is boarded up, then he taps one of the boards and the door swings open. "What book you looking for."
  78. [2012-07-08 03:37:28] * Midnight_Rain drinks some of what the sheriff poured thinking of ways to get better gear that would last long enough to kill the slavers that are left
  79. [2012-07-08 03:38:41] * Haywire scratches his cheek. He trots to the table and takes his portion of caps, leaving after Grand. "Prepare yourselves. Try not to die until I get back."
  80. [2012-07-08 03:38:53] * Shade gets off of Rain with a quick kiss on the side of her muzzle "So...I guess another shopping day? New equipment? Or...something?"
  81. [2012-07-08 03:39:08] * Dusk_Beam makes a clicking sound with her tounge. "Well... That'll help, need to stock up on medical supplies anyway. You people just don't get shoot up while I'm shopping and we should be fine." She dumps her share in the hoofpouch "Anypony wants to tag along?"
  82. [2012-07-08 03:40:13] * Grand_Finale nods to the sherif, takeing a look at the old building. "Thanks but... are you sure its open for buisness? Looks pretty deserted to me...", grand is cut off by the sherif opening the door. "Oh, ok then... well I was hopeing to find some books on zebras"
  83. [2012-07-08 03:40:26] <Shade> "I will..." She looks over at Midnight_Rain "Want to come?"
  84. [2012-07-08 03:40:58] * Midnight_Rain gets up and gets her share of caps "Yeah but after i gotta go kill some slavers."

  86. [2012-07-08 03:41:30] <Shade> "You aren't going without me."
  87. [2012-07-08 03:41:57] <AMARDA_GM> The Sheriff leads Grand_Finale to a single shelf. "Everything I have on the subject. Some from my travels, some from the near by tribe and others from the Canterlot Library Vault."
  88. [2012-07-08 03:42:18] <Shade> "And we need supplies first."
  89. [2012-07-08 03:42:51] <Midnight_Rain> "Shade Haywire is right i don't want to be the cause of your death so after i get some gear i'll go get rid of them once and for all."
  90. [2012-07-08 03:42:55] * Dusk_Beam stops in her tracks. Looking back at Rain. She sighs. "If you two are going, I'll go too." She winks. "Somepony needs to make sure you keep on trotting." Nods. "Yes, supplies. Shall we?"
  91. [2012-07-08 03:43:08] <Haywire> "Grand." He follows the pony into the library. "Grand?"
  92. [2012-07-08 03:43:21] * Grand_Finale perks his ears at the mention of a nearby tribe, could it be the same that Zaliz had mentioned? "So... how dose this work, I pay for it or just borrow them, not eally sure about the protocal..."
  93. [2012-07-08 03:43:44] * Grand_Finale turns at the sound of his name, "Oh, hey wire. Check out all the books!"
  94. [2012-07-08 03:44:17] * Shade trots over to Midnight_Rain and hugs her again "
  95. [2012-07-08 03:44:24] <Midnight_Rain> "Fine but if we are going to end them i want Terminal there to help us out and get supplies."
  96. [2012-07-08 03:44:36] <Shade> "Don't let Haywire's morbid pessimism get to you."
  97. [2012-07-08 03:44:51] <AMARDA_GM> He places them on the table. "Just read em here. They're quite easy to read, very self explanatory." He looks at the books fondly. "Used to be a friends collection, they don't leave this room." He sounds sad as he speaks.
  98. [2012-07-08 03:45:47] * Grand_Finale turns back to the sherif, "And you mentioned something about a local village, a zebra village perhaps?"
  99. [2012-07-08 03:46:56] * Haywire looks around. "Looks fascinating. I need to take a closer look on this late. Anyway..." He takes the blue leaf out of his saddlebags. "Maybe your... friend... knows if this has some good use." He turns to the sheriff, staying silent for a moment.
  100. [2012-07-08 03:47:39] <AMARDA_GM> He nods. "Yeah, that lot." He snorts. "They'll do whatever they're elders tell them to, then go and bash their enemies heads in with enchanted sledgehammers."
  101. [2012-07-08 03:47:40] * Grand_Finale nods his acnoledgemen to Haywire while still waiting for the sherifs responce.
  102. [2012-07-08 03:48:40] * Grand_Finale raises a brow, "Enchanted slege hammers?". That certainly didnt sound like Zaliz, not graceful at all. "Are their any zebra in town originally from that village?"
  103. [2012-07-08 03:49:17] <AMARDA_GM> The Sheriff takes a look at it then nods. "Yep, you use it to make potions more potenet, hard to find but well worth the effort."
  104. [2012-07-08 03:51:26] <AMARDA_GM> The Sheriff shakes his head. "One from there, married to another Zebra in North. Poor mare was half dead when they brought her in, that Zebra looked like some demon, covered in all that blood and his hide so scared."

Grand shiveres a bit and nods, "Thank you sherif, Ill make sure and leave the books here when Im done reading but I may have to come back a few times to read over them all"

  112. [2012-07-08 03:55:16] * Grand_Finale leans over the collection of books and reads their tittals, he had enough time to skim one or two of them before going to visit the zebra and he wanted to make a good choice about which to read.

  114. [2012-07-08 03:58:53] <AMARDA_GM> The options look rather bland. One is about general observations on Zebra culture and religion. Another is a simple picture book written in Zebra with Equestrian translations. It is very simple and basic. One does stand out, an old hide bound journal that was written by pony magic, not machines.

  122. [2012-07-08 04:04:16] <AMARDA_GM> The book is full of small tidbits and observations about Zebra tribes the author met or heard about. Eventually Grand_Finale finds a page that matches up with what Zaliz has taught him
  123. [2012-07-08 04:04:42] <Shade> "Come with us, Or I trot over to the nearest guard and see what happens."
  124. [2012-07-08 04:04:52] * Grand_Finale opens the book wide and reads the entry with great intrest.

  126. [2012-07-08 04:05:59] * Haywire trots around the North Hoof, looking for places selling useful parts or not so usefull full pieces
  127. [2012-07-08 04:06:17] <AMARDA_GM> The book details the meeting of one of the members of the tribe, and the story of how the tribe were removed from their home for a grievous crime they committed.
  128. [2012-07-08 04:06:30] * Dusk_Beam "Don't be silly Rain, just come in with us." Cocks her head towards Termial. "See, even Terminal is joining us! It will be fun!"

  131. [2012-07-08 04:08:05] <Grand_Finale> Grand shrugs, this was nice but he wasnt after a history lesson. What grand really wanted was some tips on zebra culture and now best to avoid accidentaly pissing of Zaliz and getting a sword in the gut. Grand flips through the next few pages to get a feel for how this book reads.

  135. [2012-07-08 04:09:39] <AMARDA_GM> Haywire's search leads him to an old dock with a half rusted building on it. The sign out side reads 'Open in the morning.'
  136. [2012-07-08 04:10:04] * Shade rolls her eyes "Rain you're being such a foal right now."
  137. [2012-07-08 04:10:47] * Dusk_Beam smirks. "You have been shot in the face, not in your legs." She wingshrugs and keeps on walking.

  139. [2012-07-08 04:12:08] <Midnight_Rain> "Dusk the Doc said that me moving didn't help my face and besides if any pony asks i can tell them this is my beast and i got this scar killing all the slavers to get to it."
  140. [2012-07-08 04:12:10] <AMARDA_GM> Grand_Finale finds one more page on the tribe. 'Last night my new companion started talking openly, said he wanted to tell me a story. I can't remember the half of it, but it seems like his tribe gave away some of their ponies as champions, split them off from their tribe. He never said why, just that it was vital to the tribes way of life.

  142. [2012-07-08 04:13:33] * Midnight_Rain pats Terminal "Sorry if it seems over the top Terminal but i want them to know to not mess with us."
  143. [2012-07-08 04:13:41] <AMARDA_GM> The mare looks at Midnight_Rain and waves her hoof. "Go if your going. There's nothing more I can do now."
  144. [2012-07-08 04:14:01] * Haywire trots in, taking a good look on the place. "Well, finally.
  145. [2012-07-08 04:14:15] <Grand_Finale> Grand raises a curious brow, "Champions?", he asks aloud to no pony in paticular. The word sounded odd, he knew what it ment but how could sending away warriors be important to a tribes way of life? He could see Zaliz as a champion, the way he held himself and acted but.... something wasnt right, Grand was still missing something.

  151. [2012-07-08 04:17:07] * Midnight_Rain gets onto Terminal 's back <I know Terminal but those slavers might try something stupid and i don't think i can fight them off the way i am right now>
  152. [2012-07-08 04:17:15] * Dusk_Beam frowns. "You should just have stayed at the tavern in that case.." She mutters. "Heh, what would that make me then, Shade?"

  154. [2012-07-08 04:18:04] * Terminal kneels down to let the pegasus get onto her back. <We are capable of fighting, when the demon reflected lights do not distract us. Worry not, Rainy>

  156. [2012-07-08 04:18:28] * Grand_Finale sighs and picks up the first book, the journal had an interesting clue that could help him understand more about Zaliz past but this one should help him more in the present. Grand opens the book and starts to read up on zebra culture.

  161. [2012-07-08 04:19:28] <AMARDA_GM> Right from the start the Zebra culture book is bland and uninteresting. Most of it's pages talk about the larger more important tribes.

  374. [2012-07-08 07:15:22] * Dusk_Beam gives Midnight another tight squeeze in the hug before whispering. "I just want to help you.. Please, let me." She sniffles a little, rubbing a hoof to dry her eyes.

  378. [2012-07-08 07:25:58] * Dusk_Beam gently places all of her equipment back into her bags as she speaks. "Need to find out their numbers, if they have slaves there, where they are.. " She murmurs, putting back one item at the time.

  380. [2012-07-08 07:29:40] * Haywire looks up from his project. "What? Yes, I believe so. Keep in mind he has no reason to help us, so his information may not be entirely trustworthy. Maybe some extra incentive may be necessary."
