  2. Hello, my name is Victor Watts, and this is my personal journal blog. Here I will be posting interesting stuff that happens in my life. My first offical post will be out tomorrow (unless something interesting happens today). Anyway, that is pretty much all I wanted to talk about.

  5. I was asked by an older relative this morning to find some clips of an eighties show for them. I wasn't doing anything as usual so I decided to do it. They wanted me to find some show called "The Treehouse Club". I spent about an hour trying to find a clip for the show but I just found nothing... I did find some sort of television archive site though. the show is about how a group of children will climb up a ladder to a tree house and meet the host of the show, Danny Coughlan. Nothing else is really mentioned in the article about the show except that it was mainly learning based. I couldn't find anything else other than a bunch of Q&A pages with nothing that would help. After an hour or two of searching for anything, I gave up on it and told my relative I couldn't find any clips for it. He didn't seem very dissapointed so that is good.

  7. Anyway, this has been entry one of my personal journal blog.

  10. I know I was meaning for this to be just my personal journal blog, but this "Treehouse Club" show has been really getting me full of curiosity ever since yesterday. So I decided this blog will be completely dedicated to researching this eighties television show. Anyway, I have been researching near non-stop since I woke up this morning. And I have found an interesting newspaper article printed in Febuary 26th, 2002. It had some interesting facts that the television archive site left out. Here's some of the new information I have gathered:
  11. *It was really popular with millions of people all over Canada.
  12. *The show ran from 1972 until 1990.
  13. *There were around 5000 children who were on the show.
  14. *The cast of the show includes Pat Ludwig (organist), Ted Rooney (producer), Danny Coughlan (host/music director), Ken Copeman (puppeteer), and Terry Thomas (puppeteer).
  15. *Betty Thompson, the same person who hosted "Romper Room" is on the staff for The Treehouse Club as the assistant producer.
  16. *The show got cancelled because Danny Coughlan "suffered from an illness that led to his death in 1990".
  17.
  18. The more I look into this show, the stranger it gets... I looked up each of the staff members for the show and
  19. not one had any public documents other than Betty Thompson, but it said she never even worked on The Treehouse Club. Danny's death doesn't make much sense either... It just says he died of an illness, nothing else about his death was stated anywhere... I guess I will update if I find anything else...

  22. Sorry about the delay, I have been having trouble finding new information lately so I decided to wait until I knew a little more to make this update. Anyway, I got my friend Trevor to help me look into it. He spent a while researching and the only useful information he could find was that there is a high chance he died in Vancouver. If he is correct, this could be a great lead to figuring out how he died! All I have to do is look though a bunch of obituaries for his name under the province Vancouver. The only other thing I could find was a Youtube video that seemed to be a spinoff of The Treehouse Club using the same name.
  23.
  24. I will start searching though obituaries now and will post any findings in the morning.

  27. Nothing... I looked through every single obituary and there is nothing that fits the description of the host. I don't know if it is the sleep deprivation or not but this show is starting to freak me out. Why would there be no death records at all... There has to be something big behind this show and I am going to find what it is!
  28.
  29. I guess this is another dead end for now...

  32. I'm terrified! And staying up for three days just makes it worse! I will explain what happened tomorrow...

  35. I found some episodes of The Treehouse Club on an underground torrent website last night, they were all contained on one file I found labelled "UnreleasedTTC.tor". After putting it through uTorrent I got a .zip file of the same name with six video files in it. Here is my description of the six video files:
  36.
  37. *TTCHiking.wmv: It started off with this group of about 7 or 8 kids... (about 7-12 years old) ...going up into the "The Treehouse" where they all meet Danny Coughlan. He greets them and most of the children look very excited, while a couple of their minds seem to be wandering (which would be understandable as they are only children). They then all left to go out on a camping trip. he taught them various survival skills through song for the rest of the episode. The lessons included lighting fires and what to do if you get lost. Other than some of the lessons being a little serious for a kids show, everything seems about normal so far. (length - 24:58)
  38.
  39. *TTCCircus.wmv: In this one a different group of kids all went to the circus with Danny who bought them tickets and let them go do their own thing. After the kids were gone, Danny and whoever was filming started talking about whether they should keep filming or not, they decided not to and the video ends. (length - 07:12)
  40.
  41. *TTCArt.wmv: This episode appears to be mostly arts and crafts based. It runs pretty smoothly until two kids get into a fight while Danny was doing a song. One of the kids in the fight managed to get their hands on a hot glue gun and started using it on the other kids head. The other child started screaming in agonizing pain, I started cringing at the pain this innocent child was in. After the child starts screaming, Danny and other members of the crew immediately run over to them before the video abruptly ends. (Length - 16:02)
  42.
  43. *TTCInterview.wmv: This video was much different than the first three, it appeared to be an hour an a half interview with the show's producer, Ted Rooney. I was hoping it would give me some more answers but the video seems to cut to black for about 5 to 20 minutes before he can answer most questions (as if the one who made the torrent edit them out on purpose). So I didn't get much of any new information that I was hoping to get from this video... (Length - 1:35:27)
  44.
  45. *TTCEvidence.wmv: An unknown camera man is walking around in what appears to be a heavily wooded area, I'm not entirely sure what is happening other than that. It's because the audio is near impossible to make out and the video appears to be filmed in a really old quality camera (like "when video cameras first came out" old). This goes on for about a minute until the video ends abruptly. I have absolutely no idea what this video's meaning is... (Length - 1:21)
  46.
  47. *TTCFinal.wmv: It starts off like a usual episode, except the quality seemed much worse than a normal episode of it would look like. The kids were walking towards a forest this time where they meet some guy with a guitar. It wasn't Danny though, he was at least a foot taller than Danny and looked like he was in his thirties. He then started playing the theme song on his guitar for a minute or two (he clearly didn't have any knowledge on how to use it). The children didn't seem excited at all either, they all seemed confused and nervous at what was going on. The man then started to "teach" the kids about life and death, starting out in a calm, understanding tone but slowly escalating over the course of minutes as he starts screaming and ranting on the subject. Most of the children look petrified at this point and one of them starts to cry. The man's rant stops silent before he walks slowly over to the her and started hitting her repeatedly until she fell unconscious. The rest of the children scream and attempt to run away from him after seeing what he just did. The man then goes over to the person filming and says to him in a serious tone "follow me". The camera man simply answers with yes and then follows the man as he hunts down each child and starts killing them each one at a time. Once he finds the first child he grabs a large rock and hits it hard against the small childs head until he falls limp on the ground, I was hoping the video would just cut off but it was just showed one murder after another, becoming more and more grotesque with each one, eventually, the man started cutting off their arms and legs before raping and mutilating them. I have never seen another man die before... and suddenly I was watching children get raped and murdered by this guy! I had to stop the video about 12 during the duration of it to go throw up and clear my mind before continuing on. Even though it was the most nerve wracking and morbid thing I have ever seen, my curiosity kept me watching. After what seemed like forever, all the children were dead. The man begins to laugh hysterically for a couple of seconds before it abruptly cuts out to what appears to be Danny, sitting on the floor of the tree house while sobbing loudly. This scene only lasts for a couple of seconds before the video ends. (Length: 2:14:56)

  49. I will update again when I don't feel like I'm about to puke...
  50. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  51. August 7th, 2014 (4:17AM)
  52. I have been throughly watching through the videos... (except for the murder scenes in "TTCFinal.wmv") ...and I have found some useful information that I didn't notice before. Here is the following information:
  53. *The camera man from "TTCCircus.wmv" sounds near exactly like the one from "TTCFinal.wmv"
  54. *in "TTCInterview.wmv" the producer mentions having an editor named Mitchell Torres on the project. This is the first time I have heard of a "Mitchell Torres" working on The Treehouse Club. (I have been speculating on Mitchell Torres also being the man from "TTCFinal.wmv", as the man from that video seems to be related to the cast of the show and doesn't look like any of the people from the news article picture of the cast)
  55. *The man holding a camera in "TTCEvidence.wmv" could possibly be the same the man from "TTCFinal.wmv" (possibly Mitchell Torres).
  56. *In the last few seconds of "TTCFinal.wmv", there is a shadow of a male figure resembling the man who killed all those kids from earlier in the video.
  57.
  58. After the things I have seen I would rather not search any further into this... I will be leaving this blog up, but this is the last time I will be going near it...

  61. I got rid of five of the six video files because if this really is so covered up, I could be in shit if they get leaked. I will be puting "TTCEvidence" on MediaFire due it not being as "revealing" as the others. Here is the link: [link to mediafire download]
