  2.
  3. -----
  4. >"See you tomorrow Sunset!"
  5. "I'll see you around girls!"
  6. >Your six friends leave the grounds of Equestrian High School as you lean against the flagpole.
  7. >After Princess Twilight came and took her crown back, everything has been different.
  8. >In it's own good little way.
  9. >You have friends now.
  10. >Classmates like you and the whole school seems to be a little happier of a place.
  11. >Instead of fearing you, people like you.
  12. >It feels good not to be sitting at the lunch table alone.
  13. >Being invited into parties was one of the greatest feelings you've experienced.
  14. >However one thing still hasn't changed...
  15. >You sigh to yourself and look into the sky.
  16. >While the grass was green and the sun was high in the sky today, the world seemed dark and grey to you.
  17. >You didn't belong in this world and you never have.
  18. >Shoving your hands in your pocket, you begin your walk towards the back of the school, head down.
  19. >No parents.
  20. >No family.
  21. >Plenty of friends... and only 5 that understood that you weren't from here.
  22. >Yet, nowhere to live or to get a warm meal.
  23. >Tomorrow was the next day for the portal to open.
  24. >Everything was so much different in this world.
  25. >In the pony world, at your age, you can buy a home, get a job, and make a living.
  26. >Reaching the maintenance door of the school, you look at the door with dread.
  27. >You've been able to learn not to cry anymore.
  28. >The janitor wasn't really a bad guy, just lonely.
  29. >All you had to do was say you loved him after he was done.
  30. >Then you could sleep on the floor.
  31. >You draw a shallow breath and shakily let it out.
  32. >Tomorrow you are going back.
  33. >Then everything will be better.
  34. >It can't possibly be worse than here.
  35.
  36. >The full moon stands high in the sky amidst the frigid air.
  37. >You stare at the portal within the statue of the high school mascot.
  38. >All of your prized possessions are packed to take with you.
  39. >An empty backpack.
  40. >A backpack gifted to you by Principal Celestia.
  41. >A guilty feeling in your stomach boils to the surface.
  42. >What is Celestia going to think when you come back?
  43. >You shake your head.
  44. >At this point, you can't afford to think like that.
  45. >You let out a deep breath and step into the statue.
  46. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  47. >The world rushes past you in a blinding speed
  48. >Your body is pulled apart at the edges.
  49. >Fingers are pushed into your hands and your back is on fire.
  50. >Hands constrict your neck as it becomes harder to breathe.
  51. >You try to scream, but nothing comes out.
  52. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  53. >The air is less frigid as you slowly open your eyes.
  54. >You are much warmer here as you feel marble on your face.
  55. >Trying to rub your eyes, you stab them with a hoof.
  56. >Oh yeah.
  57. >That will take some time to get used to again.
  58. >Groaning, you slowly set your front two hooves on the floor and try to get on all four hooves.
  59. >You stretch and crack you neck.
  60. >Walking down the hallways of Canterlot Castle, your muscles slowly regain their memory of being a pony.
  61. >Once you walked these halls with pride and a sense of self-satisfaction.
  62. >Today you walk them full of worry and curiosity.
  63. >"HALT! STAY WHERE YOU ARE!"
  64. >Stopping in your tracks, you turn to the guard with a light smile.
  65. >The guard shines his light on you and his expression turns to shock.
  66. >"You... the Princess will want to speak to you at once."
  67.
  68. >"Well, I'll be honest Sunset, I didn't expect you to come back."
  69. >Celestia takes a sip of her tea as you stare at the cup in front of you.
  70. "It's like they say Princess, the grass isn't always greener right?"
  71. >She nods.
  72. >"Maybe you are still willing to learn."
  73. >You look up to her with glimmer of hope in your eye.
  74. "You mean..."
  75. >"Don't take that the wrong way. I am not willing to make you my student."
  76. >You stare into your tea for some form of consolation.
  77. "I understand."
  78. >"However, perhaps Twilight will be able to help you rebuild your life here in Equestria."
  79. >Twilight Sparkle.
  80. >Despite being one of your only friends here in Equestria, you refuse to accept help from anyone.
  81. >You will rebuild your life on your own.
  82. "I would enjoy visiting Twilight... but I would prefer to build my life myself Princess."
  83. >"Then how do you plan to get to her?"
  84. >You shift in your seat.
  85. "I-I don't know, but I'm working on it."
  86. >With a golden aura, a train ticket to Ponyville is placed in your hooves.
  87. >You look across the table at Celestia with curiosity.
  88. "Why?"
  89. >"Because I believe you deserve a second chance. I think Twilight and her friends can do a lot of good for you. I have faith in them."
  90. >You smile and begin to tear up.
  91. "T-thank you Princess. I won't let you down."
  92. >You have a train to catch.
  93. >Standing up, you get ready to leave.
  94. >"Sunset."
  95. >You turn to Celestia.
  96. "Yes Princess?"
  97. >"I encourage you to get your life on the road first, before you try to find love. I am well aware of how... obsessive you can get."
  98. >Nervously, you chuckle.
  99. "Y-yeah. I'll do better."
  100. >Exiting the Princess's presence, you take another deep breath.
  101. "~Obsessive~. What a bitch."
  102.
  103. "I'll take it."
  104. >"Alright, I'll get the papers ready. Welcome to your new home in Ponyville Sunset Shimmer."
  105. "Sounds great. Thank you."
  106. >The agent leaves your quiet home and you look around at your new beginning.
  107. >It will take a few weeks of doing some odd jobs until you can get a normal income.
  108. >All you need is a bit of time.
  109. "Well. Better earn a bed to sleep in."
  110. >Heading out of your home, you step directly into Ponyville market.
  111. >The hustle and bustle of the crowds help you blend in.
  112. >Just be normal, for a while.
  113. >However, in the midst of the chaos, one beautiful creature catches your eye.
  114. >Butterflies fill your chest.
  115. >Your eyes lock onto him.
  116. >The tall hunk of a man opens his mouth.
  117.
  118. "Are you fucking kidding me? Three bits for a pear? I'd rather take a shit in my own mouth you fucking jewpony."
  119. >"Sir, they were four bits last week..."
  120. "No wonder the Apples are running you guys out of business, they only charge two bits per apple."
  121. >"Sir, pears are harder to-"
  122. "Oh suuuurrre. Harder to make. Tell it to my asshole."
  123. >You walk away from the stand with a tall stride.
  124. >Wait for it...
  125. >Wait for it...
  126. >"Two bits per pear sir."
  127. "Perfect. Give me a dozen."
  128. >As you sweep up the pears with a wide smile, the pony looks down at the ground with tears in his eyes.
  129. "Hey."
  130. >He looks up at you.
  131. "You aren't really THAT much of a jew. That was harsh. My bad."
  132. >He sighs and nods.
  133. >That wraps up your shopping for today.
  134. >Time to head home.
  135. >Turing around, you bump into a tan pony with ketchup and mustard hair.
  136. >Kinda like a hamburger.
  137. "Oh, my bad."
  138. >"S-sorry."
  139. >You stand up and look at the pony.
  140. "Hey. I don't recognize you... are you new here?"
  141. >"Yeah. My name is Sunset. Sunset Shimmer."
  142. "Nice to meet you. The name's Anonymous."
  143. >You hold your hand out for a hoofshake and she happily shakes it.
  144. "Well, uh. Here."
  145. >You take a pear from your bag and hand it to her.
  146. >She eyes it carefully.
  147. "Consider it a welcome gift. Hope you enjoy Ponyville. We should hang out sometime."
  148. >"Y-yeah..."
  149. >She stares at you.
  150. >It's kinda discomforting.
  151. "Well.. uh. Bye."
  152. >"Bye~" she replies.
  153. >You begin your trek back home and look over your shoulder at her.
  154. >She's still staring.
  155. >Weird ass pony.
  156.
  157. >Holy shit things are getting weird.
  158. >Every where you go, there is Sunset.
  159. >Go to work at the farm, there is Sunset.
  160. >Head to the library to see Twilight, there is Sunset.
  161. >Fluttershy has a fetish guess, there is Sunset.
  162. >She started following you around town all the time.
  163. >Whenever you found her, she would act like it was all one big coincidence.
  164. >You sit on a hill to watch a beautiful sunset.
  165. >"Oh, hi Anon. Funny seeing you here."
  166. "Oh. Hey."
  167. >There is Sunset.
  168. "To what do I owe the pleasure this time?"
  169. >"Well, uh. I got done working today... and just wanted to relax."
  170. "Sure."
  171. >"No really... I didn't expect to see you here. I come here every day."
  172. >Huh. Sunset watches the sunset.
  173. >Fantastic writing there Flutterpriest.
  174. >Screw you too Anon.
  175. >"So, uh. How long have you been here Anon?"
  176. "Well, to be honest, I lost count. Soon I started to just assign names and topics to the days once I forgot what number I was on."
  177. >"I see. Well, what's your story?"
  178. "Well. I just sorta appeared here one day. Couldn't explain it. Lost everything I had on Earth, but I kept my form."
  179. >"I see that... It's just like where I was before I left Equestria."
  180. >You turn to Sunset.
  181. "You mean... somewhere with other humans?"
  182. >"Yeah. There were humans everywhere. I was a human too... but it's a dark place there. I would never go back."
  183. "Why?"
  184.
  185. >Suddenly it feels a little cold outside.
  186. >You feel the way that lonely man violated you.
  187. >Looking at the grass, you try to hold your composure.
  188. "I... don't wanna talk about it right now."
  189. >You feel a warmth envelop your back as you lay on the cold grass.
  190. >Anon sits closer to you after he places his jacket on your back.
  191. >"You don't have to say anything."
  192. >Anon wraps an arm around you and you look into his eyes.
  193. >Suddenly, your lips want to feel his.
  194. >He brings his face closer to yours.
  195. >Slowly.
  196. >Carefully.
  197. >You close your eyes, breath short and uneasy.
  198. ~~BEEP~~BEEP~~BEEP~~
  199.
  200. >Slowly you open your eyes as the hard wood floor of your new home.
  201. "Damn it."
  202. >You rub your eyes with a hoof.
  203. >If only that was really happened last night.
  204. >All the two of you did was talk about what it was like in that horrible place.
  205. >It made a bunch of terrible memories flood back.
  206. >But then again, when you were with him, everything seemed right again.
  207. >You have to be with him.
  208. >Today is the day.
  209. >You set off at a gallop towards Anon's house after fixing your hair.
  210. >No time to waste.
  211. >Bumping a familiar yellow pegasus out of the way, you push on for the homestretch.
  212. >Was it bad that you followed him home to get his address?
  213. >Probably.
  214. >Was it bad that you sneaked in to smell his laundry?
  215. >Well, nobody got hurt.
  216. >It was probably bad though that you had a secret way into his home.
  217. >Maybe.
  218. >You can tell him after you two are married.
  219. >Knocking on the door hard, you hear stirring from inside.
  220. >"God damn it Fluttershy for the last time..."
  221. >The door flies open, and Anon stands in the door way in just underwear.
  222. >Your marehood instantly becomes moist.
  223. >"Oh... it's you Sunset. What's up."
  224. "I want you to be my coltfriend."
  225. >Anon looks down at you with shock.
  226. >"Well. Uh. Sorry Sunset... I dunno how to break it to you... I mean, I loved our talk last night.. but I'm just not interested in ponies."
  227. >Suddenly the warm fall day feels much colder to you, although any other pony would tell you it was beautiful out.
  228. >"I'm sorry. I just can't."
  229. >He slowly closes the door and leaves you standing on his porch.
  230. >Turning around, you decide to head back home.
  231. >Not interested in ponies?
  232. >We'll see about that.
