  4. [13:10] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 When last we lest our brave band, there were squaring off against an irate Steel Ranger. More specifically, they were staring down the many barrels of his twin-minigun battle saddle, hoping not to end up as red splattered meat.

  6. [13:11] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Lily attemted to dissuade the Ranger with little success, and now finds herself the prime target.
  7. 07[13:26] * +Primer sighs and rubs her temples, this was getting out of... hold on a sec. She looked at the encased bodies on the floor. Something had dropped them like toy soldiers without doing any major structural damage to their armor. Were they hit by matrix distruption grenades? Possible. And probably from the big robot they shared the room with.

  12. 07[13:31] * +Fire_Lily is lying on the floor, shaking visibly. Why did she do that? That was stupid! But... everypony was fighting and it was scary and... Ugh, these ponies are making me crazy! Just... stay calm, we'll figure this out...

  15. 07[13:38] * +Primer walks forward slowly, ending up standing over Fire_Lily, shielding her. It would probably not make much difference, but she was only a pony. "Did you ever stop to wonder how two of your friends got shot to hell?" She asks the Steel Ranger. "Because none in our party has anything that's even remoterly capable of that." She gives a sly smile.

  19. [13:40] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The Ranger keeps his multitude of barrels steady; "Fucking dumbass tribals, I know damn well what knocked out my companions. I guess I should thank you though, since you shut it off for us."
  20. 07[13:41] * +Primer giggles. It rang false to her, because she was desperatley bluffing. "Who says we did?"
  21. 07[13:43] * +Desert_Storm is still silent. She'll let Primer keep going, it might prolong her own death if the ranger has to waste a few on her first...
  22. [13:44] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 There is no visible change in expression on the cast iron mask of the Ranger's armour. "I'm not going to fall for any stupid tribal tricks. We'd all be dead already if this bucket of bolts was still active."

  24. 07[13:46] * +Keen_Shine simply shakes wildly. Oh Celestia no. I can't let that happen. Not again. I'm not... I can't let... He's frozen in place. "They're still active." He says off-hoofedly, with distant eyes and not really putting two and two together here. "I put them on standby."
  25. 07[13:46] * +Primer cracks a smile. "Yes, the stupid tribals shut down a pre war robot like that." She gestures to the robot. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. We are soooo dead.

  27. [13:47] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The helmet of the Ranger slowly turns towards the very large robot off to the side, though his barrels remain pointed squarely at Primer. "..."
  28. 15[13:47] * +Karina is totally thankful they're trying to talk their way out of this but... holy crap... they're trying to intimidate a fully armored insane pony.
  29. 07[13:49] * +Keen_Shine looks back at Fire Lily with the most terrified expression she'd probably ever seen out of him. "You can kind of tell by the way it's beeping." He mumbled. He wasn't seeing Fire. He was seeing a little filly from a long, long time ago, trying to breathe life into a small corpse.
  30. 07[13:49] * +Primer stares squarely back at the visor on the Ranger helmet. It helped that she could'nt see the eyes.
  31. 07[13:50] * +SmartCookie mentally wraps his snout with duckt-tape, trying to rather run if necessary than getting downed screaming.
  32. [13:51] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 "...sir, D-45-H Sentinel registers as online. Matrix-Disruption Grenades still registering as active armament."
  33. 07[13:51] * +Primer felt like pissing herself out of nerves, and sweat was coating her under her barding. If she made it out of here she would get so fucking drunk.
  34. 07[13:52] * +Fire_Lily starts backing away slowly, the urge to flee starting to win out over her fear.
  35. 07[13:53] * +Keen_Shine 's expression changes. Suddenly, he's... Smiling? A little grim thought of a giggle rears up from the back of his throat and rises into a full blown laugh.
  36. [13:53] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The disable Ranger with the gruffer voice sound perterbed; "How..." The other, younger sounding one pipes up; "Sir, suggest tactical retreat. Three suits of power armour aren't worth risking over the meager scraps these tribals have seized."

  38. 07[13:54] * +SmartCookie watches the steelrangers with widened eyes and narrowed pupils. This was screaming deathtrap...

  40. 07[13:55] * +Keen_Shine thanks his lucky star. The one on his flank. "You see the situation we're in then. This is a classic MAD."

  42. 07[13:55] * +Primer finally moves, looking back at Keen. "What?" She asks flatly.

  44. [13:56] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 "Paladin Vitals, the D-45-H is badly damage, could you terminate it with you remaining armaments?" asks the gruff Ranger who seems to be the ranking member of the trio.
  45. 07[13:57] * +SmartCookie thinks to himself: 'Well fuck.'
  46. 07[13:58] * +Keen_Shine looks back at the Steel Ranger. "Mutually Assured Destruction. He *can* probably kill one of us. Fuck, let's be optimistic. He can probably kill all of us. But then, the moment he fires, the bot turns on and shoots at him with those matrix disruptors. The bot lasted so long against two of them. Why wouldn't it last through a third?"

  48. 07[13:59] * +Primer nearly falls over in relief, but fights to not show it. Finally Keen, you showed that you are the smart pony in the group.
  49. [14:00] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The younger sound one pipes up again; "It would only take one good hit and we all die sir. Repeat recommendation for retreat."
  50. 07[14:00] * +Keen_Shine gives the Ranger a smirk. "The question he should be asking himself right now is... Does he feel lucky right now? Well? Are you willing to let you and your squad starve to death over some scraps? Do you?"
  51. [14:02] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The Ranger with the Twin Miniguns trots over to the suit of armour with the younger sounding voice coming from it. "You orders sir?" He asks, looking towards the other downed Ranger.
  52. [14:04] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The lead Ranger remains quiet a moment; "...boot me up and we'll carry the Knight out. Let the tribals squabble, they'll all meet the same fate anyways."
  53. 07[14:04] * +Fire_Lily , finally out of threat of imminent death, takes the opportunity to run to where Keen and Desert are, still shaking.
  54. 07[14:05] * +Desert_Storm breathes an audible sigh of relief. Holy shit... that was too damn close.
  55. 15[14:05] * +Karina smiles and makes sure her hood is -far- over her face.
  56. [14:05] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The active Ranger nods and turns towards hsi commanding officer. A cable with some kind of arcano-tech tool attached snakes out his armour and plugs into the other suit. After a few moments, the downed suit hums to life.
  57. 15[14:06] * +Karina starts backing away from the group and heading towards the exit.
  58. 07[14:06] * +Primer remains rooted to the spot. Damned useless hoves, the minigun isnt aimed at her, so she needed to move... please. Why couldn't she move?
  59. 15[14:07] * +Karina coughs loudly then turns around and starts trotting.
  60. 04[14:07] * +SmartCookie inches towards the exit aswell, then trotting after Karina aswell.
  61. 07[14:07] * +Keen_Shine pushes Primer and sprints on out, first taking a detour through the factory manager's office. No need to let them think they have a chance here, he thought as he locked the computer. He took a brief look around for anything useful, and failing that, sprints out the exit.
  62. 07[14:08] * +Primer finally regains the use of her hooves when Keen pushed her and she bolts for the exit.
  63. 07[14:08] * +Desert_Storm makes like hell for the exit. A familiar voice in her head barked "On your hooves soldier, we are leaving!" She bolts out the door.
  64. [14:08] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The Commandign Ranger's armour looked like it had taken a pounding before being shut down, but he manages to get to his hooves. He and the other Ranger manipulate the third into a standing position. Both of them keep their eyes on the Sentinel, rather than the tribals.
  65. 15[14:09] * +Karina flies out of the exit and is running as fast she can back in the direction of Gutterville.
  66. 07[14:09] * +Fire_Lily runs after everyone, the little voice in her head shouting /Run! Run!/
  67. 07[14:09] * +SmartCookie is hot on her heels
  68. 07[14:09] * +Keen_Shine smirks, then takes something off the wall. A rifle? On my back it goes. With a speedy glide through the window, he rejoins the party. "That... Was too close."
  69. 15[14:11] * +Karina gets somewhere safe.
  70. [14:12] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 As the party runs out of the factory, the renamed and reprogramed hoverbot waves them off, then goes back to floating around the entrance.
  71. 04[14:12] * +Primer is right behind Karina, keeping beside Fire_Lily, hauling the filly on her back when Lily starts to look exausted.
  72. 07[14:13] * +Keen_Shine looks back at the robot. "Genivieve! Come!"
  73. 07[14:13] * +SmartCookie still follows.
  74. 07[14:13] * +Desert_Storm trots quickly behind them. Dammit, when was this wing gonna heal?
  75. [14:13] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The robot hears the voice of the one who knew its overrides and follows obediently
  76. 07[14:13] * +Fire_Lily lets herself be lifted onto Primer's back, clinging tight as she tries to calm herself down
  77. 15[14:14] * +Karina doesn't stop running until she hits the intersection right in front of their new home. When she stops, she sits down, panting, and tosses her hood back.
  78. 07[14:14] * +SmartCookie slows down and paces in place for a while, before standing still. He was out of words.
  79. [14:16] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 At their hurried retreat, the group managed to make it back to the street upon which their home lay in about half an hour. Which is good, because night is about to fall
  80. 07[14:16] * +SmartCookie finally breaks the silence and says: "I want to check the scrap electronics later on."
  81. 07[14:18] * +Desert_Storm , no longer gasping for air, marches up to Keen, stopping directly in front of him. She had a few words for the good doctor. " 'Too close'? No shit Sherclop! Don't you EVER do that again! Did you think that was funny? We were inches from being finely ground horse back there!"
  82. 15[14:18] * +Karina nods, still breathing heavily. "I'll store them overnight up on the second floor. Also I need to see if you can create a solid connection between one of the batteries and my hot plate."
  83. 07[14:20] * +SmartCookie nods and says: "The night is young. We'll see about that."
  84. 07[14:21] * +Keen_Shine flumps over on the side of the road, throat raw from heavy breathing, muscles cramping from running so long. Time for sleep soon. Oh yes. Water and sleep. "I..." He was way too tired to fight back at all. Emotionally and physically. He was a long ways off from his Junior Speedster's training.
  85. 15[14:21] * +Karina gets up and shakes her head, noting that how dark it's getting. "I need to.." She gives up finishing the sentence and just goes off to inspect the rest of the buildings on the street for anything she can use for that hot plate.
  86. 07[14:22] * +Primer gently sets Fire_Lily down on the ground, then makes a running leap at Keen_Shine while yelling her head off. "You son of a wading bird! Why was the garbage we looted out of that place so important?!"
  87. [14:22] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The hoverbot floats up beside Keen. "Observation: Designated operator is fatigued."
  88. 07[14:22] * +Desert_Storm looks at the collapsed Pegasus. "Oh no you don't! You've got some explaining to do! Hey! Don't ignore me!"
  89. 07[14:25] * +Fire_Lily lies where Primer set her down, focusing on steady breathing. We're okay now... we're okay... we're safe... so why is it so hard to breathe? In... out... in... out...
  90. 07[14:26] * +SmartCookie looks at the others and then rests his eyes on the two mares verbaly mortaring at Keen.
  91. 07[14:27] * +Keen_Shine raises his hoof and attempts to catch his breath. It wasn't working as quickly as he hoped. "I... Doubted that... They'd stop there... If they could get the loot from the... Building out of us... They probably would've gone and taken... Everything we had." He wheezed out, gasping for air.
  92. 07[14:29] * +SmartCookie starts trottin over to keen and the other two. "We should get inside, before we get sucked dry.", he dryly states. He then walks over to keen and asks: "You think you can move on your own?"
  93. 07[14:29] * +Primer continues to yell. "And so fucking what? We would have made it out alive! We did make it out alive once you got your head in the game, and what the fuck were you doing playing doctor for those assholes?! Looked to me like they needed a spanner not a bangage!"
  94. 07[14:29] * +Desert_Storm rolls her eyes. "Right. You made all these assumptions while laughing your flank off and trying to heal people that clearly didn't want our help? You were off your damn rocker!" she looks to Cookie.
  95. [14:29] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The hoverbot looks around at the group. "Observation: Getting sucked dry does not sound pleasant."
  96. 07[14:30] * +Desert_Storm yells at the robot. "Shut up!"
  97. 07[14:31] * +SmartCookie stands next to keean ant looks at Storm and Primer. "You can groundpound him inside aswell.", he says. "Now help me get him inside or i'll carry him on my own."
  98. [14:31] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The robot blinks; "Order recieved, disengaging vocal protocols."
  99. 15[14:32] * +Karina comes out of buildings, rather giddy. She looks up at the sky and sees how dark it is. "Hey! Guide Keen inside and tan his hide there!" She helps Fire_Lily to her hooves then heads into their home.
  100. 07[14:32] * +Keen_Shine nods at Smart weakly, before making his way over to the house. "Genevieve, get inside and run your Mr. Hoofy default protocol."
  101. [14:33] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 The robots bobs in the air; "Affirmative. Loading personality subroutines. Setting default mode: Home maintainence."
  102. 07[14:34] * +Primer turns away disgusted, heading back to Fire_Lily, she sits on her haunches before the shiverign little filly and asks in a gentle tone that is completly unlike her earlier outrage. "Are you allright to walk inside? Or do you want me to carry you?"
  103. 07[14:34] * +SmartCookie trots back inside, Waiting in the formal lobby for the others.
  104. 07[14:34] * +Desert_Storm gives a low growl as she walks away, back to the house. She nods to Genevieve, "I thought I told you to shut up."

Maybe a couple of hours if we came across some raiders? I don't know." He reaches into his bag, slumps over a wall, and takes a fixer. "I didn't want to prove that all wastelanders were bad ponies like they said. And this isn't the first time I've healed somepony who...

  114. 07[14:40] * +Fire_Lily continues walking, heading up to the third floor and entering the closest room to the staircase
  115. 07[14:40] * +Keen_Shine shrugged. "I didn't know they were unharmed. This was the first time I've ever seen that... Strange armor. All I saw were two ponies prone and not getting back up."
  116. 07[14:41] * +SmartCookie looks at Keen and then asks with a Hrmph: "The scrap Arc-Tech?"
  117. 07[14:42] * +Primer follows Fire_Lily all the way up to her room.
  118. 07[14:44] * +Keen_Shine looked at Smart. "If you're talking about the bots, I already locked out the manager's terminal. They aren't following them any time soon."
  119. 04[14:44] * +Desert_Storm facehoofs. "Their suits shorted out, they were practically fine! How hard do think it would before for Karina to conceal any of it? How much is all that crap worth anyway? Was it worth getting one of us killed? You saw how easily he could've shot Primer! Or... Lily."
  120. 07[14:45] * +Fire_Lily lies down on the floor, looking around idly for a moment before sighing.
  121. 15[14:45] * +Karina sets out her hot plate and a spark battery by the work station, so that can get worked on as soon as possible. No... she wasn't an eager beaver at all.
  122. 07[14:46] * +Primer lays down on the floor next to Fire_Lily. "I know its a useless question, but are you alright?"
  123. 07[14:46] * +SmartCookie facehoofes and then starts rumaging around in the loot pulling out what looked apparently like techjunk. He heads to the work station and starts tinkering. Not long before he manages to slavage a Memor Unit and install it into his Pipbuck.
  124. 07[14:48] * +Fire_Lily doesn't answer, instead summoning an image of herself in front of her, and glaring into the image's eyes.
  125. [14:48] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Cookie's Pipbuck flashes a few messages on its screen and on the EFS alert; "New Memory unit recognized. All Data Storage and related functions online. Full Functionality restored.'
  126. 07[14:48] * +Keen_Shine burst into shouting. Apparently, something she said hit a weak point. "I don't know, alright? I didn't know about the suits, and I didn't think in terms of that crap! I just knew that they were probably not going to stop at just the shit we found there! Why would they? And if they did that, if they took all of our guns, what then? We go outside and get shot at by raiders?"

  128. 07[14:50] * +Keen_Shine is shaking with stress. "All I knew is that I had to make some sort of call. And if push came to shove, I would've jumped in front of the guns to buy you all some time." He looked at her with grave seriousness.

  130. 07[14:51] * +Desert_Storm sighs. "Were there raiders outside Keen? Did we get shot at on the way out? Was there anypony for miles around when we left?" Oh shit... he really meant that. He would do that for her? "I... for our sake, please. Think next time."
  131. 07[14:52] * +Primer sighs. "Well, if you want to practice alone, I'll go. But if you ever feel the need to talk, I'll be there." Primer gets on her hooves, and heads for the door, intending to give Fire_Lily some time alone.
  132. 07[14:52] * +SmartCookie sits down near the workbench and starts familiarizing himself with the new functions, especially intrigued by the inventory sorter. He trows a brief glance at keen, before playing around with the legworn device. Fucking hero he was.
  133. [14:53] <+Desert_Storm> "Just promise me, you'll never do that again."
  134. 07[14:53] * +Fire_Lily sighs again and allows the image to dissipate before speaking up, a little quietly. "Maybe I shouldn't just stayed..."
  135. 07[14:53] * +Keen_Shine tries to avert his eyes. "I didn't want to take that chance." He sighed, then stumbled on up. "... I shouldn't have been the one who lived." He trotted on up towards the stairs. "Do what?"
  136. 07[14:54] * +Primer stops in the doorway and looks back. Saying nothing, but waiting patiently.
  137. 15[14:54] * +Karina clears her throat. "Hey, Cookie, before you get lost in that thing, can you see if you can bring that hot plate and battery together?"
  138. 07[14:55] * +SmartCookie nods and trots over, hauling it up on the workbench. This shouldn't be too hard...
  139. 07[14:56] * +Desert_Storm trots up next to him and puts a hoof on his shoulder. "You scared me. Don't do that. Ever."

Primer walks back inside the room, chucking most of the heavier ger on the way until she's only in her leather barding. She opts for some truth. "Well, maybe you couldn't do much to help, but you weren't in the way, and that smoke trick was very good, if a little late."
  150. 04[15:02] <+SmartCookie> After not even 5 minutes he puts the actualy working hotplat back on his place and tells Karina: "There you go. Happy cooking."
  151. 07[15:02] * +Keen_Shine simply gives her something of an unstable look, that hopeless, guilty look that he usually wore so frequently. "I'm not going to stop trying to help ponies. But if you're asking me to stop getting us in situations like that, believe me, I'll try."
  152. 15[15:02] * +Karina smiles wide. "Thanks!" She runs up to her room and starts doing her thing.

  156. 07[15:04] * +Desert_Storm pats the doctor on the back and trots off in search of something to settle her nerves. Near death experiences warranted the kind of drinking she had in mind.

  160. 07[15:06] * +Keen_Shine stood there on the stairs for a little while more than was strictly necessary. Visions of a filly gently lying on his leg went through his head. He walked up with the same stance a beast of burden would, then into his room. The nightmares will come tonight. Yes.

  176. 07[15:20] * +SmartCookie trots back down after a while looking at the desolate room. They deffinitely needed to get some furniture out of the houses in their proximity. There probably was enough salvagable material.
  177. 07[15:20] * +Desert_Storm ears perk up. "Somepony needs a drink? What a coincidence! This drink needs somepony!" she shouts back to no pony in particular.
  178. 07[15:22] * +Primer 's ears perk up, was that Desert? Maybe. She shrugs. Well, why not. She needed the image of all those gunbarrels out of her head or she swore she'd start to scream her head off.
  179. 15[15:23] * +Karina grabs a cola and some food for a planned dinner, then sits down on her bed and starts munching.
  180. 07[15:25] * +Primer bumps the door to Desert_Storm's room open, locating her on the bed. "There were drinks?"
  181. 07[15:25] * +SmartCookie heads down to the first floor walking around it, pacing in place now and then, before returning up to the thrid floor, taking a walk around the halway, before FINALLY entering his room. He felt restless and without any appetite. Neither did he feel tired or even wanted to sleep.
  182. 07[15:25] * +Desert_Storm holds up an unopened bottle of wine. She nods, "There were drinks. It's got your name on it."
  183. 07[15:26] * +Fire_Lily continues practicing her spells while everypony else gets drunk
  184. 07[15:27] * +Primer visibly relaxes. "Well, I don't remember putting it there, but I don't object." She taps the door with a hindhoof, latting it close behind her as she joined Desert sitting on the bed. She spent a moment staring out over the landskape.
  185. 07[15:28] * +Desert_Storm sighs and takes a sip of the wine. Not bad for... however old it was. "Pretty, huh?"
  186. 07[15:28] * +Keen_Shine places the tip of the rifle against his chin for a little while, then puts it aside. He reaches over to his saddle bag, got a beer, one of those not-so purified waters, and a box of Sugar Apples cereal, and simply ate it while looking up at the roof over his bed. He doesn't seem to even look down.
  187. [15:28] <%TenMihara|GM> 3 Genieveve floats idly around the second floor of the building, attempting to straighten out the communal inventory despite lacking any kind of shelving or storage.
  188. 15[15:30] * +Karina finishes her cola and food and realizes... she'd gone off and hadn't heard the answer to the questions... She tosses the empty bottle and food container in a trashcan then walks over and knocks on Keen's door.
  189. 07[15:30] * +Primer waits for the bottle to cyckle over to her. "Yeah, shame about the bomb damage."
  190. 07[15:32] * +Keen_Shine doesn't move at first. He noticed that the water made his stomach flare up, then... Cool off? He didn't quite know what that meant, but he had some ideas. He wiped off the apple crumbs from his jumpsuit, then answers the door. "What?" He says in a rather glum tone.
  191. 07[15:32] * +Desert_Storm sighs. She took a larger gulp of the wine. "Keen said he'd take a bullet for me earlier."
  192. 15[15:33] * +Karina leans against the door frame to Keen's room and looks at him. "I was busy while you were all talking, so what was your answer?"
  193. 07[15:33] * +Primer doesn't do much beside Desert. "Well, seems like he's finally gotten his head straight. That's good."
  194. 07[15:34] * +SmartCookie sits on his bed and stars at the wall. He finally gets up agains and gets himself a can of pre-war food and starts eating... on the second floor's floor.
  195. 07[15:34] * +Desert_Storm hoofs the bottle to Primer. "Well, as straight as it'll ever be."
  196. 07[15:35] * +Keen_Shine stays silent for a little while. Oh, great. Now you're forgetting this shit now. "What do you mean?"
  197. 07[15:36] * +Primer takes the bottle and upends it, taking a decent sized gulp. "I was about ready to trow a grenade at that armored fella, did you know that?"
  198. 07[15:38] * +Desert_Storm raises an eyebrow, then smiles. Removing her glasses, she looks at Primer. "Thank you for not doing that. I almost thought about shooting Keen myself and save those guys the ammo. Stallions, right?"
  199. 15[15:38] * +Karina "Yeah, medic's s'posed to heal the enemy, too. But you could see and we all knew he wanted to turn us into glue. What the heck went through your head?"
  200. 07[15:39] * +Primer shakes her head ruefully. "Well, he meant well, that's the only reason I didn't clock him in the jaw with Breacher as soon as we arrived here."
  201. 07[15:42] * +Keen_Shine thinks for a moment, not looking too happy about things. Finally, a conclusion. "If... If you woke up one day and it was a century and a half later, and you had way too many regrets. If you saw that you had made the world infinitely worse. What would you do?"
  202. 07[15:42] * +Desert_Storm nods, extending hoof for the bottle. "He always means well. That's gonna get him in some serious shit someday. But, what's Breacher?"
  203. 07[15:44] * +Primer gives Desert the bottle. "Lock-box's old shotgun, it has the word 'Breacher' engraved on it under his name, I figure that's the gun's name. I know its a bit silly, but..."

  205. 07[15:44] * +SmartCookie takes the empty can back up to his room and throws it in the trash. He then once more sits on his bed, door open.

  207. 07[15:47] * +Desert_Storm takes another swig. The bottle was almost half empty now. "But what?"
  208. 07[15:47] * +Keen_Shine gives her a sad smile and shakes his head. "I know what I did." Good ponies didn't get sent to prison. "But to answer your question, I guess I was thinking of what would've happened if I were a better pony that was in my situation and acted accordingly."

  210. 07[15:49] * +Primer smiles. "Well, it fits. I'll call her Breacher from now on I guess."
  211. 07[15:52] * +Desert_Storm grins, shoving the bottle into Primer's hooves. "So, what'd you do before... all this shit? Or did you always walk around turning ponies into red mist?"
  212. 07[15:52] * +Keen_Shine gives her a chuckle. "I... I froze up, I guess. I remembered something that made me think... Know. Know I wasn't a good pony, and I froze up." He looks at her with his head sunken, still chuckling a graveyard chuckle. "Do you... Do you think if somepony else was in a pod like I was, if I weren't here and long dead in some collapsed concrete..."

"They belonged to a good friend of mine, and he and I... made some poor decisions and he... he's no longer with us. He made it a point to keep them clean... and.... fuck. Gimme that bottle."
