Did some scouting and here's what I've found;
- Directly West - The silverthorns, their claim is shite and I stole one of their baskets, a bit north of their claim was a house that had nothing but a box and a bed in it, I stole the bed too, and some stuff from the box, and I stole some of the silverthorns iron, heh
- North-East Corner - Mr. Feudal's base is a bit south of the mountain range up at the north-east corner of the map, on the northern-most side I found a few wild horses, waiting to be tamed or killed off so nobody else gets them.
- North-West Corner - The Eisen's base is here, it's the most advanced one of the lot aside Mr Fuedals, it's got a shit house or two and a forge, also a thing of note, just north-west of the lake in this area is a silver mine, or at least it was before I took it all
- Middle Area - Seems to be good grounds for hunting as far as I can tell, nothing much else of note here
The area directly around our base is completely clear of anyone, so we don't need to worry there
I might have missed a claim somewhere along the line but this is just what I've found so far

the slight griffing is something we might be able to use to blackmail some of the clans
sort of like a "We know where you live, and if you want to know where that bark box went you'll start paying us"
type deal, if you want to run down that road

also I left two animal carcasses at Feudals place the other day
so if he asks why those are there

it was mostly just because we didn't need the meat at the time

Discovered a larger claim right next to the large body of water up north-west
it's literally like just west of it

ALSO thing of note, Pierre DuBois is setting up on the Island just north of us
He seemed relatively weak and I let him know I wouldn't be raiding him
So uhh, maybe just let him be for now, and he might be our best bet at our first vassal or whatever
And I'll get around to fixing that flattened area too
