  1. Okay. This is gonna be harsh. I'm sorry, but I need to get it out.
  2.
  3. I'm glad I stopped reading this.
  4.
  5. I started losing interest a bit before Danny died. I kept trying, hoping it'd get better. It did not. It stopped being interesting for me because Taylor slipped from being an interesting character who had her own set of problems thanks to a new type of power in her head, to a purity sue.
  6.
  7. Sorry, it's true. The world bends to accommodate Taylor being "A beacon of sanity."
  8.
  9. The poor grasp of canon (Oh, it's just mechanics and not important to the story), the mangling of characters (Oh hey, blast a merchant with a cannon, and then get it announced in public. That's what the wards are for!), and the absolutely sickly saccharine nature of how Taylor interacts with things (That whole Emma/Sophia situation) makes me utterly unable to enjoy this. The Butcher showing up was whole other can of worms.
  10.
  11. I've checked back periodically, hoping it's gotten better but instead...it's like a trainwreck for me. Something amazing, with so much potential, running off the track an destroying something I had high hopes for.
  12.
  13. I wish I could enjoy this, I wish I could get past all the problems I have with it, but I can't. The Ash Beast section was really well done, which tells me that the problem isn't Frommerman's writing on its own...it's how he writes Taylor and the world's reaction to her.
