FoE RPG G0 Interlude: Our Strange Love Life

<~Knick_Knack> You would think  the dessert was spicy from the way Knick_Knack measured her spoonfuls. She started eating with enthusiasm, only to slow down and take smaller spoonfuls as she got redder and redder.
* Sotho had made the dessert more minty than spicy, so he was confused by her reddness
* Royal_Lace is in general high spirits after her antics with a certain scaley party member, one that in her opinion looked extreamly cute as a dolled up poodle.
<~Knick_Knack> Firefly left with Cross Section, Tamara left to her camp, Ignis left to talk to Chroma Cure. Only you three remain on the dining room. Knick Knack smiles a bit to Sotho, then turning to Royal_Lace. "So, uh..."
* Sotho smiles as he finishes the last bite. "Would you prefer to talk here or some place more private?"
* Royal_Lace turns her head a bit from the distant point she had been seemingly facinated in for the past few moments at this, "Hum?"
<~Knick_Knack> "Private. Oh right, private is better." She nods awkwardly.
<Sotho> "For our conversation. "He reminds Lace. "The important one
* Royal_Lace tilts her head the other way, "Oh yes, you mentioned something of that earlier yes. I would be more than glad to discus whatever it is on your minds. Shall we seek out a more seculded section of your home NickNack?"
<~Knick_Knack> "We can go to my room. That's okay, right?" Knick_Knack asks
* Sotho nods to Knick_Knack. "Of course it's okay." He smiles and stands. "I will handle dishes later."
* Royal_Lace glances to the kitchen and flashes her horn, "No-no, Please you cooked allow me", in a instant the dishes are spotless. Smiling she looks back and sweeps a hoof, "Now please, after you Nick Nack, lets go upstairs. If you dont mind i would also like another look at your wonderful art peices, they truly are interesting"
* Knick_Knack smiles. "Oh sure! They are all there." She guides Royal_Lace and Sotho upstairs
* Sotho blinks and nods, heading upstairs.
* Royal_Lace smiles and follows Nick Nacks lead
* Knick_Knack takes you to her room. The window is still boarded up but the room itself is back to its shape, the bed is clean and the little scrap ponies fill shelves and surfaces.
* Sotho smiles as he looks around. "Oh my how nice." He says before looking back and smiling. "So, Knick Knack, I think you would be better opted to telling what we should talk about."
* Royal_Lace smiles as she takes a seat, waiting to see what this was about.
<~Knick_Knack> "Right. Soo..." She rubs her mane, her eyes wander around the room. "Is it okay if... uh,  I mean, Sotho said maybe, well... but only if you are okay with me..."
* Sotho smiles lightly and sighs. "What she means to say is... I told her just because I'm with you and you're with me, doesn't mean we can't be with her."
* Royal_Lace blinks, pauses, ear twiches, and blinks again. "Ummm... Im terribly sorry but could you please run that past me one more time, Im not sure I understand properly. What is it your suggesting again?"
* Sotho blushes lightly and looks down. "T-that... Knick Knack join us in holy matramony?" He says quietly
<~Knick_Knack> "It's like... we would all be married- yeah." She nods shyly to Sotho.
* Royal_Lace blinks, pauses, and nervous laughs a bit before quickly cosing her mouth. looking between the two she lifts a hoof and starts messing with her hair nervously, "Ummm, I see well, heh, ummm how did this.... interesting idea come about? It seems like quite the, er, creative solution indeed."
* Sotho looks at Royal Lace and has a very sorry look on his face.
* Knick_Knack shrinks a bit and fiddles with her hooves. "Sotho said he was already married and that love was different from books so..."
<Sotho> "That much is true!" He says. "Love is rather different than books."
* Royal_Lace waves a hoof, "No no, dont get me wrong its... well I will admit a bit unorthadox as far as my own tastes go but I already knew Sotho had at least one other mare in your life. Love.... yes love is quite, well its hard to quantify I suppose".
* Royal_Lace continues to stroke her mane as she reflects on how much she likes books
<~Knick_Knack> "I like you two... a lot really. Not just because..." She blushes. "...I mean... I don't know, but... I'd be really happy if I could be with you. Is that how love is like?"
* Sotho thinks for a moment. "Well, Knick Knack, do you feel like you should do anything for us?"
* Royal_Lace blushes, continueing to stroke her mane like oen would a comfort blanket. "Yes well... I suppose, I mean Knick Nack I feel I am very close with you as well."
<~Knick_Knack> "Yeah, but... I dunno, you have, like, everything figured out. I don't really know what I can do." She looks at Sotho and Royal_Lace. "But if there's something, I'll do it. But, I mean... what do I have to do?"
* Sotho nods to Knick_Knack. "Well. Do you honestly want to spend the rest of your days with us?"
* Royal_Lace pauses from her mane strokeing, she is focused on Knick Nack and only paying partial mind to Sotho, "Do?"
<~Knick_Knack> Knick Knack looks back at Sotho. "Yeah, but... wait." She tilts her head at him. "you..." She shakes her head. "I mean, yes!" She looks back into Royal_Lace's eyes. "What do I have to do?"
* Sotho blinks for a moment, confused by both mares
* Royal_Lace sets her hooves back down on the foor and takes a breath, "Im not sure what you mean dear, I dont think that one requires one to do anything to prove oneself to another beyond being themselves when it comes to maters of love, or at least that is what I have always held. I just... am still taken aback by this promosal honestly, not that I am unfavorable to it per say its just... diffrent, wasnt expecting it."
<Royal_Lace> *proposal*
* Sotho nods lightly. "I.." He sighs and scratches his head. "I am not good with matters of love."
* Royal_Lace laughs awkeardly again, "If you know what I mean to say", her eyes glance over to Sotho filled with obious desire to comment on his words but she witheld.
* Knick_Knack holds her leg. "So..." her ears droop slowly. "...what now?"
<Sotho> "Well that is up to you two." He says. "I personally Think that if you truely do love somepony you should be with them. And we do care about you immensily Knick Knack
* Knick_Knack smiles warmly to Sotho
* Royal_Lace horn sparks a bit, still blushing but managing to offer a smile. "I- I see well then, so its up to us mares then is it?", how nice and convienient for you, she held back from saying, "So then, Knick Nack, you truly want this?"
<~Knick_Knack> "Yes!" She shouts in excitement, flinching back from her own overt forwardness. "Sorry, I mean, I know maybe you don't, because... that time...." She looks down. " and, hm, I know I don't look very good and I can't do all that fighting and convincing and stuff, but..." She looks into Royal_Laces eyes, stepping closer. "but if I can do something, I'd do whatever you want."
* Royal_Lace sighs as she looks to Nick Nack, "Alright, if I had to ask anything of you Knick Knack its this, to please belive me when I say you are are a beatuful and talented mare with a big heart. Its true, and both me and Sotho recognize it, and I want you to be able to see it in yourself as well so.... I guess what Im saying is.... yes"
* Sotho nods lightly. "I." He leans back. "I am sorry I have made this so complicated."
* Knick_Knack glomps Royal_Lace
<~Knick_Knack> "Thank you! I... I..." She tears up, smiling. "Oh, it's just amazing!"
* Royal_Lace eyes Sotho from inside the forhooves of NickNack, a look on her face pratically shouting 'YA THINK?'. Patting Nick Nacks back she smiles a bit and returns the hug, a more reserved hug bug still meaninful she thought. "Yes Nick Nack, its all very exciting"
* Sotho nods lightly and moves to hug them both, returning the look with a gracious 'I AM SO SORRY!!'
* Royal_Lace rolls her eyes and hugs them both tightly
* Sotho coughs lightly. "Perhaps Lace and I should plan something later tonight." He says bashfully.
* Royal_Lace "hum?"
<~Knick_Knack> "Ooh?" She tilts her head, curious.
* Sotho gives a small shrug. "Something congraduatory or something of the like? I'm sorry my language seems to be failing me.
* Royal_Lace hums to herself in thought, not fully getting what Sotho was trying for, "Ummm well Im not sure, today has already been quite thrilling enough, spreding the news, hawkeyes departure, fireflys parents, .. this. Not sure how much more excitment I could take Sotho. Though we should start thinking of Cerimonies I suppose... not sure how this is suppose to work"
* Sotho nods a bit. "Well perhaps we should try to work things out with the yard first before anything becomes finalized. But I know that the tribe should be able to perform traditional zebra marriages." He says nodding before looking to Knick Knack. "We will retire to our room for the night, I'm glad this conversation went well."
* Royal_Lace ear flicks a bit at this comment but dose not vocalize any thoughts or complaints.
<~Knick_Knack> "You can sleep here now, right? Or do I move, or..." She tilts her head.
* Sotho glances to Lace about this, wondering what to do
* Royal_Lace waves a hoof, "All good questions that we can address in the morning as adults.... adults who are preparing to enter into a mutual romantic relationship together, of sorts... thingy". She rubs her head, "Yes, there will be much to figure out later, but im sure we can manage together Knick Knack"
* Sotho nods. "So for tonight you may sleep in your room. Tomorrow night we can figure rooming arrangements out."
<~Knick_Knack> "Oh, okay." She nods. "See you tomorrow." She kisses Sotho and Royal_Lace's lips and hops back on her bed.
* Sotho blushes lightly before he starts to trot out
* Royal_Lace blushes and sputters for a moment before just nodding, "Yes, sleep well Knick Knack, Im... glad we had this talk"
* Sotho trots and pulls Lace into his and hers room. "Alright, i know you had some things to say but didn't want to hurt her feelings. So please voice them to me."
<~Knick_Knack> "Me too!" She smiles, bouncing on her bed.
* Royal_Lace waves to Knick Knack as she leaves, once alone she narrows her eyes at sotho, "Well an explination would be nice for starters, I though you were just going to go have a talk with her?"
* Royal_Lace she dosent sound angry per say, upset but doing an excient job controling her volume and harshness.
* Sotho sighs. "I tried to but she was depressed about us being together." He says. "I did not know exactly what to say... so that happened."
* Royal_Lace raises a hoof to silence him, "Alright, your abismal with mares, I can belive that trust me Sotho, so help me I can actually belive you when you say that.... what Im more interested in, what I need to know, is if you do feel this way about her and return her fealings of affection. Truthfully now"
* Sotho nods lightly to her. "I do care for her immensily. I feel like how she treated us was some form of love that she was never taught was wrong. So while I do not love her on the same level I love you, I do love her."
* Royal_Lace nods, breathing in deeply. "Alright, I can deal with that then, I mean this, like this whole thing.... I think I can manage". Narrowing her eyes she leans forward, "But!", raising a hoof she pokes at Sothos barrel with each word to send her message home. "No. More. Mares!"
* Sotho blushes at her and nods. "U-understood." He says looking down ashamed.
* Royal_Lace pouts, "Please? This bedroom is already pretty... crowded"
* Sotho nods. "Undertood." He looks at her. "Speaking of bedrooms... what exactly will ours be like now with Knick Knack."
* Royal_Lace sighs and leans forward to nuzle Sotho, "I... dont know, its a bridge we will cross soon. We both care about her, I just wish I had a bit more warning before all this..... still, she seems happy"
* Sotho nods. "I wish I did as well."
* Royal_Lace laughs, "you.... you are going to give me a heart attack one of these days, you know that?"
* Sotho blushes. "I am sorry for that."
* Royal_Lace nods, "yes, you are. But dont think that is going to stop me from getting you back for all this mr.".
<Sotho> "For all what?!" He asks surprised.
* Royal_Lace waves a hoof, "For all the awkward moments that are about to spring into existence around me in my life now"
* Sotho frowns. "It's not all directly my fault."
* Royal_Lace blows a rasbery as she rolls her eyes, "Phhhhhhhft, Im a pregnant mare, I get to be a mite irrational, its one of the perks allowed to me in my condition.... and if you say that its a bit early to be playing that card i will respond with that it is also a bit early to be trying to spice up thing in the bedroom with more ponies"
* Sotho frowns. "I'm not trying to spice anything up." He says before blinking. "uhh. what does spicing things up in the bedroom mean?"
* Royal_Lace blushes and laughs, "I er, well yes I see that well... Alright so the loose definition of the term 'To spice things up' used in this way would mean to add an new element of excitment to increase pleasure or satisfaction"
* Sotho blinks again. "Umm. Smaller words?" He asks her, smiling shyly.
* Royal_Lace whispers in his ear, "trying new things in the bed to make things more thrilling"
* Sotho blushes and nods.
<Sotho> "O-oh... well it obviously wasn't my intention!"
* Royal_Lace blushes, "So you say"
* Sotho blinks. "I honestly had no intention of that."
* Royal_Lace nods, "Mhum, im sure"
* Sotho pouts and stomps his hoof. "I had no sexual intentions with this descion!"
<Sotho> "I am not some young zebra colt who cannot control his hormones."
* Royal_Lace chuckeles into a hoof, "Im just teasing you, you truly are a mess at talking to mares. Whatever possesed you to attempt a realationship with three at once?"
* Sotho blushes and stammers a bit. "I-I." He sighs. "Well with my wife, I only asked her out after gaining courage from fighting and drink. You I asked out after a big fight as well. Knick Knack... is a bit special. I asked her because I know she would not be happy otherwise and I do care for her. While I am miserable at talking to mares, I seem to somehow be good with them."
* Royal_Lace nods and kisses his cheek, "A good thing to, just try and learn how to say no?"
* Sotho blushes and nods. "Except to you?"
