  1. >Be Anon
  2. >Day 69 in Equestria
  3. >How the fuck did you get to Equestria? Via BM fucking W, that's how
  4. >Despite being a national curiosity, the number of homicidal sociopaths looking to make the papers is quite low, so federal protection is not necessary
  5. >The reigning monarch even set you up with a sweet living arrangement in a quiet little town called Trottingham.
  6. >The ponies here are all nice and talk in delightful little accents that warm your heart
  7. >More importantly, you've found many drunk mares at the bar who warm your dick
  8. >Girls really dig you when you're the last of something
  9. >You found work as a security guard at the local hospital
  10. >It's not too bad at all
  11. >You've been assigned the graveyard shift this week
  12. >If you still had access to the internet, you could be using this time spent walking around, looking for people who aren't there to be going over that clopfic you've had in your head and wanted to write for awhile
  13. >So Nightmare Moon stands over Celestia's defeated form, dick at the ready, when...
  14. CLANGSADSADJK CLANG!!
  15. >The fuck was that? Did someone just knock over some fucking cymbals?
  16. >Well, you're the security guard, so you guess it's your job to investigate...
  17.
  18. >You approach the room where the sound came from
  19. >If there are any intruders in there, at least you'll be able to fight them off with your scary fucking flashlight
  20. >You put your shaky hand on the door and prepare to open it
  21. >The door slowly opens, creaking a little
  22. >You shine your light on the area in front of you
  23. >nothing
  24. >Okay, so far so good, maybe some shit was just poorly stacked
  25. >You enter the room, shining the light to your left and right
  26. >Still nothing
  27. >wait
  28. >You see some blood spilled from a bag lying on the floor
  29. >It looks like it's lying right in front of the freezer where they're stored
  30. >Did someone break in to steal... blood?
  31. >Weird
  32. >There's no windows into this room, so unless they managed to scramble out the door before you got there, they must be still here.
  33. >It's a pretty plain room, every place can be seen from the center, there's nowhere to hide
  34. >unless
  35. >Oh shit, Sam Fisher is about to kill you
  36. >You slowly bring your flashlight upwards, and look up
  37. >You're frozen
  38. >Two orange, slitted eyes are looking down at you
  39.
  40. >"FUCK"
  41. >It seems your exclaimation of profanity startled the fucking demon on the ceiling
  42. >It drops directly on top of you
  43. >Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit, this is the part where the monster gruesomely rips you apart and wears your pancreas like a hat, FUCK WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE A HOSPITAL SECURITY GUARD ON THE NIGHT SHIFT
  44. >You're not dead yet, and not gored yet, either
  45. >The thing cut your cheek when it fell on you, but it quickly scrambled away out the door
  46. >Against your better judgement, you rush to chase after the thing
  47. >You catch it going through a window that's been jimmied open, and taking off into the night
  48. >All you can see is a darkened silhouette of a pony, and demonic looking wings
  49. >Holy fuck
  50. >Shit... you guess you better write up a report...
  51. >Get the local police to put an APB on a shady looking demon pony with orange eyes and slitted pupils that drinks blood
  52. >Wow, writing this down, you sound like a crazy person
  53. >Fuck it, this entire country seems to be the product of a bad drug trip, who's to say scary shit like this can't happen?
  54. >You're definitely asking for a raise after this.
  55. >You contact your supervisor and let him know of the recent break in and possible theft
  56. >Soon enough, police are brought in, ask you some questions, and ask to see your notebook and report
  57. >You make mention of a demon pony, and the police look at you funny for a second, but jot it down anyway.
  58. >You give them everything they ask for, and are relieved of duty for the rest of the night
  59. >Thank fuck you sleep during the day, because you don't think you could go to sleep on a night like this with a terrifying fucker like THAT prowling around
  60.
  61. >You spend the rest of the night in the corner of your room
  62. >Drinking coffee
  63. >phone in one hand, kitchen knife in the other
  64. >Every whistle of the wind, or any other ambient sound is the terribad OC demon pony coming back to murder the only witness
  65. >You spend the rest of the night, ever alert
  66. >So Nightmare Moon stands over her defeated sister, dick at the ready.
  67. >"You shall be the first of my royal broodmar-
  68. >Fuck it, 8 AM, you're in the clear
  69. >Time for some shut eye
  70.
  71. >The next afternoon, you wake up
  72. >4 PM. It's almost like you never left Earth.
  73.
  74. >You go about your normal routine before you have to work the hospital again at 11.
  75. >You're standing in the general store trying to pick out a deodorant when something... feels off.
  76. >It's tough to explain... is someone watching you?
  77. >You take a little look around.
  78. >Nobody is watching you, you paranoid freak
  79. >The townspeople have gotten used to their new bipedal resident, and thankfully kept their staring down to a minimum at this point.
  80. >But still... you feel a little weird.
  81. >Maybe it's just some persistent shivers from thinking you were about to be bisected by an otherworldly being last night.
  82. >Whatever, everything's cool.
  83. >You finish your shopping and head home.
  84. >You take a shower and get ready for work after your sub-par vegetable dinner
  85. >You swear, once you save up a little more, you'll import some god damn meat from the Griphon's country or something.
  86. >You put on your snazzy, custom-made security guard uniform and head off to the hospital...
  87. >...occasionally looking over your shoulder...
  88.
  89. >You clock in, ready to start your shift.
  90. >Post orders have been updated following the recent break in.
  91. >Thankfully, you now have backup readily available in case you need it.
  92. >He's a dark grey Earth p0ne with a short, mohawk styled mane
  93. >how is that
  94. >He actually looks pretty adorable with his little shirt on.
  95. >Then again, that's not saying much. Damn near ALL of these ponies look adorable.
  96. >You found out that nothing had been taken during last night's break in, but a bag of blood had been opened and spilled. Not much else.
  97. >This only sends shivers down your back at what this >implies
  98. >Nevertheless, you have a job to do.
  99. >Your orders tonight are to patrol the first floor, while your partner manages the second.
  100. >Keep in constant radio contact, report anything unusual
  101. >No fucking shit, you'll call it in if you so much as see a god damn pen fallen out of its holder.
  102. >Your partner leaves, and you begin your sweep.
  103. >For a couple of hours, it's pretty standard, nothing to report
  104. >Your partner is the same
  105. >Looks like you got your nerves worked up over noth-
  106. pitterpatterpitter...
  107. >The hell was that?
  108. >It sounded like it came from the window over there?
  109. >Fuck, here we go again. Time to investigate.
  110. >It actually wasn't that much of a sound, it was probably nothing...
  111. >You look out of the window
  112. >Darkness
  113. >Huh, well, okay-
  114. >Little tiny pieces of gravel are thrown at the window, grabbing your attention
  115. >Someone
  116. >Something is trying to get your attention
  117. >You call it in, telling him you're stepping outside to make a quick sweep of the perimeter
  118. >You swear to god, be ready to run out here if you need help.
  119. "10-4, Anon. I'll keep an eye up here if someone tries to sneak in."
  120. >With that, you head out the front door to circle around to the side of the building where the window you were looking out is.
  121. >Fuck fuck fuck, you're walking into an ambush
  122. >Why don't they have GUNS here?
  123.
  124. >You approach the location where you detected the disturbance.
  125. >It looks to be... all clear.
  126. >Maybe it was just to serve as a distraction while they snuck in through another entrance.
  127. >You ask your partner if he's heard or seen anything.
  128. "Negative, Anon. Find anything out there?"
  129. >Nothing but ghosts and shadows...
  130. >You tell him you're just gonna look around for another moment.
  131. >You thought you saw someone just drop from that tree over there?
  132. >It's too dark to tell.
  133. >You shine your flashlight on the tree, hoping it won't be the last mistake you ever make.
  134. >Approaching the tree, you look around, you look up, expecting a repeat from last night.
  135. >nothing.
  136. >Guess it's just your nerves actin-
  137. "Hiii!"
  138. >HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHAT THE FUCK
  139. >ABOUT FUCKING FACE
  140. >You shine your light right in its face
  141. >It recoils in pain from the bright light
  142. >Oh shit, you didn't mean to hurt it, sorry about th-
  143. >Orange eyes.
  144. >Slitted pupils
  145. >Demonic-looking wings.
  146. >Oh fuck, it's come to finish the job by getting you to drop your guard with it's friendly, bubbly-voiced greeting
  147. >FUCK, SHIT, FUCKFUCKFUCK
  148. >It's fucking got you now
  149. >If you're going to be dismembered and disembowelled by a blood-thirsty monster, you may as well do it right.
  150. >Completely disregarding proper security guard procedure when dealing with trespassers at night, you run at the demon, screaming your lungs out
  151. >Odd, if it's about to kill you, why does it look scared shitless?
  152. >You tackle the fucker to the ground
  153. >If you're gonna die, you're gonna die being a pain in the ass
  154. >It's a mad struggle, and neither of you knows what the fuck you're doing
  155.
  156. >For some odd reason, you're able to get the demon blood-drinking killer into a chokehold.
  157. >This is not turning out how you expected.
  158. "Wait! Wait! Please! Stop! Please!"
  159. >Its choking, you ease your grip.
  160. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sooo sorry! I'll never do it again, I promise!"
  161. >It sounds... pretty scared and distraught
  162. >Your eyes have more or less adjusted to the darkness by now
  163. >You let go of it, and see that it's... crying?
  164. >Wow, you feel like a real asshole right now
  165. >He actually thought you were going to KILL him
  166. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you like that! Please don't hurt me!"
  167. >He's cowering on the ground, shaking, scared to death, and nearly bawling his eyes out.
  168. >Okay, so you may have overreacted.
  169. >A lot.
  170. >Shit, you hope you don't get written up for this.
  171. >Deciding not to cause any MORE hurt feelings, you bypass the question of "WHAT are you" to "WHO are you"
  172. >The little p0ne in front of you calms down a little, wiping his eyes
  173. "I-I'm Moon Shadow..."
  174. >you ask what he's doing, trespassing on hospital property at night.
  175. "I-I didn't mean to cause trouble, I promise! I w-was just looking f-for you because I wanted to apologize for hurting you last night! I f-felt really bad, I'm so so sorry! P-please don't hurt me!"
  176. >So HE was the blood demon killer
  177. >Upon closer investigation... this guy seems like a far cry from a killer, let alone a menace.
  178. >You ask him why he broke into the blood stores last night.
  179. "I-I... I d-didn't mean to steal, but I-I was j-just sooo hungry! I-I needed some food! P-please, I'll pay it back! Please please don't get me in trouble!"
  180. >Damn, this guy is shaking like a leaf, and making you feel like a bigger asshole by the second.
  181. >You wonder if maybe you should call this in...
  182.
  183. >Posted orders state that you should report intrusions as soon as possible, call for backup, and notify the police
  184. >But you haven't exactly been playing by the book tonight, what with your "reasonable use of force"
  185. >And frankly, you don't care much for procedures.
  186. >Those eyes of his... they're staring at you.
  187. >Pleading.
  188. >He's in trouble, and he's begging you for mercy. God damn, it's... distracting.
  189. >He sounds kinda young. You ask him how old he is.
  190. >He sniffs, voice quivering.
  191. "...18, sir."
  192. >Damn, he's just a kid and he's breaking into the hospital for... food, was it?
  193. >That's a little fucked up.
  194. >Does his parents know he's doing this?
  195. "N-no, sir..."
  196. >You ask him if he's on his own. If he's living away from his parents.
  197. "S-sort of... n-not exactly..."
  198. >What's that supposed to mean? Where are they? Are they in town? If he gives you an address, you might just let him off with a warning.
  199. "I-I... don't know, sir. I d-don't know where my parents are..."
  200. >Oh, okay, so he must be living on his own. Still, he seems to be pretty young to be completely independent. If he's breaking and entering just to get a meal, even if it's blood, he can't be too well off...
  201. >You ask him where he lives.
  202. "I-in the w-woods, a bit South from the town..."
  203. >He's living in the WOODS? What the fuck?!
  204. >He nods slightly, still very afraid. Not so much for his life anymore, but because he still might be in very big trouble.
  205. >He's keeping his head lowered, too scared to look up at the frightening beast that tackled him and nearly choked him to death.
  206. >Oh boy...
  207. "Anon, are you still out there? Did you find any signs of a break in?"
  208. >It's your partner
  209. >You're still really unsure of what to do
  210. >Should you call it in? He's just a poor kid on his own, not looking for trouble...
  211. >Maybe you could let this one slide...
  212.
  213. >God fucking damn it...
  214. >"N-no... I got nothin'. I'm 10-76 to my patrol."
  215. "Copy that."
  216. >Moon Shadow looks up, and realizes that you're letting him off the hook.
  217. >"I'm going back to my patrol. I don't want to catch you around here again, alright?"
  218. "T-thank you, sir! I-I'm really sorry, sir, I didn't mean to hurt you last night! Thank you thank you so much, sir!"
  219. >You swear you see a small tear of joy roll down his cheek
  220. >He sputters a few more "thank yous" and apologies for his transgressions before scuffling away into the night.
  221. >Once again, you get a good look at his moon-lit silhouette.
  222. >You wonder how something so fearsome looking could act so... helpless.
  223. >You shake your head, then head back inside
  224. >You do feel pretty bad for shaking the poor guy up
  225. >Maybe at some point, you should have apologized for strangling him
  226. >Well too late now, he's gone
  227. >You wonder if you'll ever see him again
  228. >A good part of you hopes you don't. You don't want to have to get the guy arrested for stealing food when he's starving...
  229.
  230. >...but a part of you hopes you do. You don't like having this feeling of abuse on your conscience...
  231.
  232. >The rest of your patrol is uneventful
  233. >Your mind isn't really on the job. You're either distracted by that clopfic you're still trying to write, or Moon Shadow.
  234. >As the early morning staff begin to arrive, you are relieved from duty.
  235. >You head back home, eager to get some much needed sleep.
  236.
  237. >You didn't include your encounter with Moon Shadow on your end-of-shift report.
