At glance of who and what;
Delilah's Family-
	Delilah- The main character. Thirteen years old and out on her own. Generally a good girl, she has suffered a lot at home and on the streets.

	Mom- Delilah's mother, she was never the loving type. After her husband dies she becomes an alcoholic and increasingly awful to Delilah. It is believed that she has been drugging and then selling Delilah to men.

	Dad- Delilah's father who died four years prior to the story. A doctor, he and Delilah had a good relationship before he succumbed to what she remembers as a heart attack. Delilah shares a lot of her father's features.

	Grandma- The mother of Delilah's father, she comes from old money and is wealthy. Delilah remembers having a good relationship with her as a young child, but this has become greatly strained after the death of Delilah's father. Grandma and mom do not get along at all, and due to this Delilah is turned away from her door in her time of need.

People She Has Encountered-
	Camp Store Owner and his Friend- Some of the first people Delilah encounters, they take advantage and hurt her in exchange for her knife. Currently unharmed/unpunished.

	Mr. Faraway and the Queen Bees- The owner of a Gentleman's Club, Mr. Faraway has allowed Delilah to take shelter there but only on Fridays and Saturdays, when they are opened. The ladies who work there are nice to Delilah and understand that she has been hurt, but not the full extent of her situation.

	Michele- A hooker who allows Delilah to spend the night in her apartment. Crude but generally a good person, she also suffered a drug addiction. Unstable relationship with her boyfriend Tony. Delilah accidentally stabs her, contributing to her death.
	Tony- Michele's boyfriend. Addict and a jerk. He has a final fight with Michele before she kills him in her apartment.

	(Gang Related?) Store Owner Sisters- Delilah hides in their store while running from Lawrence. They try to take advantage of Delilah's situation by forcing her to be an 'entertainer' for their illegal underground business. Delilah attacks and severely beats one of them. The condition of the other one is unknown, but its safe to assume Lawrence did something to her.

	Lawrence- Michele's little brother, he's actually quite huge. Mute, he communicates with a notepad. He came to town trying to find Michele two years ago. Lives at the Good Hope building, rescued Delilah from the Sisters and brought her back to the community.

	Jessica- A girl around 17, she lives at Good Hope. She's usually cheery, though has her hands full taking care of three young children. Gets along with Delilah and warns her about the bounty on her return. She warns her of the men looking for her too.
          Thompson, Clark, and Lisa- The young children in Jessica's care.
	Sam and Marilyn- A war vet taking care of his granddaughter. Lives at the Good Hope building. He explains the reason that there is so much crime on the street.

Buttercup- A chihuahua and corgi puppy. Delilah rescued her from a storm drain.

William and his Crew- Currently staying at the junkyard. They knew Lawrence before his arrival at Good Hope,they gave Delilah a bat to protect herself. They also warn her about rumors of people on the street being killed.

Mabel and Aria- Twenty-somethings, they use to be college students before falling too deep in debt. A couple, Mabel is still going to school for a business degree while Aria was a cosmetology major.

John- A man from Good Hope, he is in his mid-thirties. Usually takes the task of cooking for everyone. He gave Delilah a better knife to use and taught her some basic self-defense skills.
