  11. [2015-01-14 22:36:15]* Swift_Hurddle "Though im sure the rations will be allot better as soon as Rosebee and whoever ells around here is interested gets there hooves back into the garden"

  16. [2015-01-14 22:40:11]<EchoesOfDeath> The line on the back slowly gets smaller as the cafeteria gets more crowded.
  17. [2015-01-14 22:40:54]* Star_Spotter sighs a bit as she thinks. "Well im not sure how safe this place is."
  18. [2015-01-14 22:42:13]* Cambiance frowns. "Yeah.... that's also a good point unfortunately."
  19. [2015-01-14 22:42:47]* Swift_Hurddle shrugs, "I dont know, they are being pretty picky about who they let into the guard stuff.... wouldnt they be more open or seem more desperate if things were all THAT bad?"

  21. [2015-01-14 22:43:46]<EchoesOfDeath> Raven looks around. "Is there something to make us wary, teacher?"
  22. [2015-01-14 22:45:30]* Swift_Hurddle deadpans but defalts to pointing to Raven, "What? See even Raven agrees this place looks pretty secure"
  23. [2015-01-14 22:46:22]<Star_Spotter> "Well understandably the place is more focused on outside protection, not so much policing the ponies inside. But a long time ago, at least it was part of my history course in college, during the Windigo incident before the princesses, the heads of the unicorn kingdom tried to mask the problems with food and such, trying to hide it from the public eye

  26. [2015-01-14 22:49:49]* Swift_Hurddle shrugs, "Sounds a bit... I dont know, farfetched to me. Dont you think the situation is a bit extream for that?"

  28. [2015-01-14 22:50:35]<Star_Spotter> "I hate to think negatively, but do you honestly think no one here knows anything about the situation in canterlot? Or they just won't talk about it."
  29. [2015-01-14 22:51:38]<EchoesOfDeath> "I don't know which would be worse." Tidy Hedge says.
  30. [2015-01-14 22:55:35]* Cambiance looks up. "Do you hear that, teacher?"
  31. [2015-01-14 22:56:06]<EchoesOfDeath> The deputy talks to a portable radio and soon points the server back to his place. Soon the Mayor Assistant shows up at the entrance of the cafeteria, discussing with the same deputy. Nothing can be heard over the crowd but the Mayor Assistant shakes her head and taps a clipboard a couple times.

  33. [2015-01-14 22:58:54]* Star_Spotter glances over and points. "See, im at least right there is some issues they dont want us knowing about
  34. [2015-01-14 22:59:01]<EchoesOfDeath> The server returns to his place, suddenly seeming much more irritated. He facehooves, but resumes serving food.
  35. [2015-01-14 22:59:47]* Swift_Hurddle has quit (Ping timeout: 121 seconds)
  36. [2015-01-14 23:00:32]* Swift_Hurdle looks to Cambiance, "hear what?"
  37. [2015-01-14 23:01:04]<EchoesOfDeath> The Mayor Assistant soon leaves, and the deputy follows her, trying to say something
  38. [2015-01-14 23:01:46]<Cambiance> "The deputy and Mayor Assistant seem to be arguing over something."
  39. [2015-01-14 23:03:06]* Star_Spotter wants to talk to the sevrer but doesnt want to get in the long long line
  40. [2015-01-14 23:03:08]* Swift_Hurdle looks around, "Are they?"
  41. [2015-01-14 23:04:38]* Star_Spotter does so, approaching the sevrer from the side. "What's the problem?"
  42. [2015-01-14 23:10:20]* Swift_Hurdle whispers to raven, rosebee, and Camiance, "Is she really going to go stick her muzzle in this?"
  43. [2015-01-14 23:10:39]<EchoesOfDeath> "Well ma'am... " The strong pony says in a deep voice. "...the head ladies says there's nothing to worry about. But... I don't see it that way, not like this." He keeps serving as he talks.
  44. [2015-01-14 23:11:04]<EchoesOfDeath> Star_Spotter sees that all snack packets are already gone and the all he seems to be serving is colored water that used to be soup and water bottles
  45. [2015-01-14 23:11:34]<EchoesOfDeath> The ponies who pick it up don't look very satisfied either.
  46. [2015-01-14 23:11:38]* Star_Spotter tilts his head. "Well how do we fix it?"
  47. [2015-01-14 23:11:42]<Cambiance> "Of course she is. She wouldn't want to stay here if it wasn't safe."
  48. [2015-01-14 23:13:28]* Swift_Hurdle looks back at Star, "You really think its that? I guess it makes sense... feel sort of bad thinking she was just being sort of batty"
  49. [2015-01-14 23:13:43]<EchoesOfDeath> "Heck if I know. We need more food, but that Mayor wannabe won't budge for nothing." The server says more quietly.
  50. [2015-01-14 23:15:07]* Star_Spotter sighs. "Possibly could the send out some ponies to go find more food?"
  51. [2015-01-14 23:16:24]<EchoesOfDeath> "We have food. I seen it with my own eyes. I have no idea what's in their heads." The server says
  52. [2015-01-14 23:21:23]* Star_Spotter nods lightly. "So maybe I should have a word with them."
  53. [2015-01-14 23:25:56]* Swift_Hurdle looks back at her again before convering with the other students, "Whatever is up she has the determined look on her face"
  54. [2015-01-14 23:26:47]* Cambiance smiles. "I never quite realized how scary our teacher can be..."
  55. [2015-01-14 23:26:53]* Star_Spotter moves to start to leave the cafeteria, trying to find someone to talk with aout a meeting with the mayor
  56. [2015-01-14 23:28:42]<EchoesOfDeath> The mayor assistant is still close to the cafeteria, heading towards the elevator on the central tower.
  57. [2015-01-14 23:29:29]* Swift_Hurdle nods, "No kidding... and there she gos, someone is about to have a hoof full of trouble land in there lap". turnging to the table he smiles in a conspiritorial way, "So, I was thinking about what we talked about before, why shouldnt Cambiance be able to play some music for ponies? I think a place like this could use a club or something like that"
  58. [2015-01-14 23:30:23]<Cambiance> "It would be a nice... return to how things were. And I'd love to help lighten up the mood 'round here. Things are kinda just depressing in general now."
  59. [2015-01-14 23:31:11]* Star_Spotter moves towards the mayoral assistant. "Hello there, might I speak with you?"
  60. [2015-01-14 23:31:35]<EchoesOfDeath> "That is just the nature of existing... but I like music." Raven says
  61. [2015-01-14 23:33:03]<EchoesOfDeath> "I have a busy schedule. What do you want?" The mayoral assistant glances back without much patience.
  62. [2015-01-14 23:34:15]* Swift_Hurdle grins, "Of course you do, everypony likes music". Acting on a hunch he continues, "And dancing to, isnt that right Rosebee?"
  63. [2015-01-14 23:34:30]<Star_Spotter> "I wanted to get a meeting with the mayor if possible, about the food situation
  64. [2015-01-14 23:41:24]<EchoesOfDeath> The assistant sighs. "The mayor is not available by reason of being dead, or possibly undead. I am in charge and I can tell you the food situation is being carefully studied. Anything else?" She looks back with some impatience.
  65. [2015-01-14 23:42:58]* Star_Spotter nods lightly. "Well I personally think it should be handled, you can't serve people the way you are, is there a shortage?"
  66. [2015-01-14 23:47:55]<EchoesOfDeath> "Oh yeah! That would be fun." Rosebee says
  67. [2015-01-14 23:48:52]* Swift_Hurdle softly nudges Cambiances hoof under the table as he looks to Raven with a smile, "How about that, do YOU like dancing raven?"
  68. [2015-01-14 23:49:01]* Swift_Hurdle tries to convey his meaning with a smile
  69. [2015-01-14 23:50:19]<Cambiance> "Dancing is fun. It's also best with a partner you really know and like! ..."

  73. [2015-01-14 23:51:14]<EchoesOfDeath> "You see, we are dealing with limited and uncertain supplies. The food situation is being handled to the best of our abilities. We can't squander what we have today, we need to think of tomorrow, even if it means tightening our belts." The mayoral assistant says
  74. [2015-01-14 23:55:36]* Star_Spotter nods. "But you know that if you countinue to squander everything, the ponies here will not be happy, and you seem like a smart mare, you know what happens when ponies don't get happy, they get angry at that which made them unhappy."
  75. [2015-01-14 23:58:17]<EchoesOfDeath> Raven looks at Swift_Hurdle, puzzled. She blinks, then she glances briefly at Rosebee. "Well..." she rubs her neck. "...truthfully... as it turns out... yeah, I guess? Um." She blushes a bit and looks away. "It's not so simple."

  77. [2015-01-14 23:59:56]* Swift_Hurdle Grins and looks to Cambiance, "Oh? well maybe you just need practice, right Cambiance? You know more about this, do you know anypony who could help her practice dancing?"
  78. [2015-01-15 00:02:05]* Cambiance nods hesitantly. "Yeah, I know a bit about dancing. Er, in theory anyway... Swift and I can help you practice together! We'll find a way to set up some music, and you can learn from us. I'm sure the athlete is light on his hooves, isn't he?"
  79. [2015-01-15 00:02:54]* Swift_Hurdle frowns a bit and sublty nods towards rosebee, "Suuuuuuuure we could, but dont you thik raven needs a SPECIAlL partner?"
  80. [2015-01-15 00:03:40]* Cambiance nods. "That's what I meant. We can dance together, and show them how to dance together. Easy"
  81. [2015-01-15 00:04:23]* Swift_Hurdle blinks, "oh, ok then, Ya that sounds good!"
  82. [2015-01-15 00:05:09]<EchoesOfDeath> "Okay!" Rosebee says cheerfully.

  84. [2015-01-15 00:06:46]<EchoesOfDeath> "...is it?" Raven seems surprised. "...hmm, so I will accept this path." She smiles a bit
  85. [2015-01-15 00:09:11]<EchoesOfDeath> The assistant mayor stops, clear worry coming to her features. "That... is possible. The Commissioner would find it very disagreeable." She sighs and looks over at her clipboard. "Very well, I suppose we can do some concessions for now. I will make sure extra food is sent."
  86. [2015-01-15 00:12:17]* Swift_Hurdle looks to Cambiance, "So what music do you have with you, or should we be searching the library or something here for somthing suitable?"
  87. [2015-01-15 00:13:03]* Cambiance thinks. "I... don't exactly think I have a very big library with me. We might have to search around. The library might be a decent bet though."
  88. [2015-01-15 00:14:58]<EchoesOfDeath> The assistant mayor leaves through the elevator
  89. [2015-01-15 00:15:20]<EchoesOfDeath> Soon after two deputies carry additional boxes of food to the cafeteria
  90. [2015-01-15 00:19:22]<EchoesOfDeath> "I've been there. If you require my assistance I will be there." Raven says
  91. [2015-01-15 00:20:10]* Swift_Hurdle smiles, "Oh that sounds nice, we can all go look together"
  92. [2015-01-15 00:20:33]<Cambiance> "Sounds fun! Should we... leave Miss Star to whatever she is doing?"
  93. [2015-01-15 00:21:45]<EchoesOfDeath> The deputies carry boxes to the kitchen, much to the relief of the server, who promptly has a new pile of snacks to offer
  94. [2015-01-15 00:21:46]* Swift_Hurdle nods, "I think so"
  95. [2015-01-15 00:25:32]* Star_Spotter nods. "Thank you very much Ma'am, sorry to trouble you."
  96. [2015-01-15 00:25:39]* Star_Spotter starts to move back to the cafeteria
  97. [2015-01-15 00:29:42]<EchoesOfDeath> Soon Star_Spotter is back at the cafeteria, where the server seems relieved.
  98. [2015-01-15 00:30:01]* Star_Spotter smiles and nods to the Sever before returning to her students." Problem fixed."
  99. [2015-01-15 00:31:11]<EchoesOfDeath> The server nods back at Star_Spotter with a smile.
