  1. Hotline Waffegeist, Part 6
  2.
  3. July 18th, 10:00pm the Apartment
  4. >”It has been two weeks now since the death of Ray Brodkin. Ray Brodkin was a highly praised and controversial director and producer, most especially with his gun control stance and themes often featured in his movies. “
  5. >”What could be described as a bloodbath, he and several unidentified men were found killed within one of his private residences. “
  6. >”But in a twist of fate, not only was heroin found at this place of residence, but 30 caged up guns, known as waffengeist, along with various personal recordings of what could be described as ‘gun snuff.’”
  7. >”The LAPD has not commented to if they suspect foul play was involved, while the city prosecutor is seeking charges of who may be responsible for Ray Brodkin’s death.”
  8. >”In light of what was found in Mr. Brodkin’s residence, various pro-gun and pro-waffengeist groups have elected to take in and rehabilitate many of those found locked up and disassembled, along with demanding that politicians extend rights and protection to ensure this activity does not go unpunished.”
  9. >”However, they are currently being denied and various gun control groups have argued against this and with being joined by Congressman We-“

  11. >Nothing new.
  12.
  13. >The two weeks have been rough, but the worst of it has pasted.
  14. >Despite your occasional incoherent outbursts, vomiting and cold shakes, Viveca has been there for you.
  15. >You sat on the couch, tired. You have been able to resume work for a couple of days now, citing illness.
  16. >You are not sure what that producer gave you, and only coherent memories during that time was being hit in the back of the head and blacking out, and waking up in your bed on the morning of the 4th.
  17. >Everything else has been fuzzy pictures of gore, rage, and desperation.
  18. >Despite your capture, you don’t feel like you could stop taking these jobs.
  19. >Seeing the depths of depravity such humans stoop down to has only hardened your resolve.
  20. >The only thing holding you back has been Viveca.
  21. >After that botched mission back at the ATF building, she wanted out.
  22. >Seeing how two guns nearly lost their owners must have shaken her deeply.
  23. >And what happened at that art show had shown what kind of fate may lie for her if she were to lose me.
  24.
  25. *ring ring*
  26. “Crap, she’s not going to like this.” you thought to yourself, picking yourself up from the couch.
  27. >”Privyet”
  28. >Looking over, you see Viveca at the kitchen with the cellphone that has been the conduit to you and whoever your mystery caller is.
  29. >Grabbing the coffee in front of you, you head over to the kitchen.
  30. >Making your way to the coffee pot, you grab an empty cup and fill it as Viveca begins to write something down on a piece of notepad .
  31. >You place the fresh cup across from you, and sit down in the chair across.
  32. >After almost a minute passed, she turns off the cell, puts it down, and turns towards you.
  33. >” Bradley from Port of Los Angeles needs us at berth 121. Said we are needed to help with cargo that is coming in late, and that we need to get everything ready by 2am.”
  34. “Hey before we go, sit down. I think we need to have a talk.”
  35. >Viveca sits down on the chair across from you grabbing the coffee in front of you.
  36.
  37. July 19th, 12:58am, berth 121
  38. >The van was parked at a safe distance away from the actual site.
  39. >Plate carrier, gloves, ear pro, and the boar mask were put on.
  40. >Three 8-round magazines on yourself, and Viveca, sporting the red dot and muzzle break, solidly in your hands.
  41. “Remember, Viv, I’m going to need you to be my second pair of eyes and ears here.”
  42. >”Da, papa. And don’t forget, I will warn you if there is a дух пушки too.”
  43. >You make your way to the berth, keeping an eye on your surroundings.
  44. >The berth was littered with shipping containers, creating its own maze.
  45. >You move to the maze of shipping containers before you, taking note of anything in front of you.
  46. >You see a cargo ship, marked with Chinese letterings, already moored, along with various armed people.
  47. >With Viveca at the ready, you enter the maze of shipping containers.
  48.
  49. >Weaving in and out of the narrower corridors, you keep your eyes peeled.
  50. >Upon turning into one of the narrow corridor, you come face-to-face with an Asian gang member holding an AK pistol and having a smoke.
  51. >You deliver a swift punch into his temple, sending him on the ground barely conscious.
  52. >Standing over, you slam your foot down on his neck.
  53. >An audible crunch of a crushed trachea could be heard, but not enough to draw the attention of others.
  54. >Putting Viveca back into the ready, you move onward to the other side.
  55. >Quickly looking in both directions along the wide passes, you see a pair of more armed gang members with their backs turned towards you
  56. >Moving towards them, you ready yourself to take them down quick.
  57. >”Left”
  58. >Swinging towards your left, you came upon a surprised looking gangster.
  59. >You punch him hard in the nose, and quickly grab him with your left arm.
  60. >Turning back, the two have turned around with their guns raised.
  61. >Shots blaze from the guns of the two gangsters in front of you, hoping to take you down.
  62. >You duck away into the narrower corridor, still holding onto the one gangster while firing back.
  63. >You drop the gangster, who is now riddled with bullets from his fellow members, and prepare for the two now approaching.
  64.
  65. >Quickly moving away from cover, you fired two consecutive blasts at a now lone gangster, with the first shot hitting his right arm and the second hitting him square in the chest.
  66. >”дух пушки taken down, and the other one has one as well.”
  67. >Nodding, you move forward, you look towards your left at the next set of shipping containers.
  68. >There, you quickly turn the corner, and fire two more consecutive shots.
  69. >The first was straight at the gangster’s chest, hitting him and his AK waffegeist, and the second blast removing a chunk from his cranium.
  70. >”The дух пушки is still active, be careful.”
  71. >Putting Viveca down, she turns to her human form as you approach the Type-56.
  72. >As you approach, the gun quickly reverts to its human form, that of an injured catgirl
  73. >Taking the opportunity, she immediately lunges at you with sharpened claws towards your throad.
  74. >Instead of swiping at your neck, she found herself being hit head on with your boot.
  75. >With the Type-56 on the ground and stunned, Viveca quickly slammed her foot onto the Type-56’s chest, sending the gun to revert into its rifle form, with the gas tube broken off and significantly bent.
  76. >Quickly grabbing Viveca, she morphed back into her Vepr-12 form.
  77.
  78. >With the noise generated from your skirmish, sounds of gangsters moving towards your position could be heard.
  79. >Looking over from your cover, you see the 6 of them moving towards the boat, while four head in your direction.
  80. >Behind cover, you fire four shots in their direction, and duck back to change magazines.
  81. >The sound of one of the gangsters groaning could be heard, along with them shouting in what you could only assume to be Mandarin.
  82. >With Viveca reloaded with a new 8-round magazine filled with 00 buckshot, you fire a couple of rounds behind cover before moving out.
  83. >Making your way to the other side of the shipping containers, you fire at two of the gangsters still up, hitting both in the chest.
  84. >Behind cover of the shipping containers, you peek from your spot to make sure they remained on the ground.
  85. >You move to the other side of the containers, staying alert.
  86. >”Left”
  87. >Following her command, you immediately turn left and fire two shots at two gangsters caught unaware at your approach.
  88. >”One of them has a дух пушки, but I’m not sure which.” Announced Viveca.
  89. “You check the left one, I’ll check the right.”
  90. >You and Viveca approach the dropped Type-56s lying on the ground, keeping careful watch.
  91. >Picking up the gun in front of you, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, other than its shoddy condition.
  92. >However, as soon as Viveca was about to grab her’s, the gun transformed into a catgirl and violently grabbed Viveca’s arms.
  93. >Without a second thought, you unloaded the Type-56 into the waffegeist until it remained just a broken gun.
  94. >”Thanks, papa.”
  95. >You nod in affirmation.
  96. “We need to check the bodies of the four others before heading into the boat.”
  97. >”Da”
  98. >You make your way to where you killed the previous four gangsters
  99.
  100. >”Something is wrong. Too many дух пушки for some gang to have.” Noted Viveca in a matter-of-fact way.
  101. “Agreed. Once we find the manifest for the package, we should check to see who the source is.”
  102. >At the four bodies, Viveca pointed to lone Type-56 SKS.
  103. >Grabbing Viveca, she turns into his shotgun form, and you fire two shots at it.
  104. >With no signs of anyone coming back up alive, you set Viveca down.
  105. “Grab one of the rifles on the ground, we’re going to move to the ship and storm it as separate persons.”
  106. >Viveca nods, and finds herself a mostly intact Type-56 AK.
  107. >You as well find one.
  108. >You and Viveca move together towards the ship, readying to board it.
  109. “I’ll keep point, you cover my back. If one of us runs out of ammo, announce it, and I’ll go back to using you as a shotgun.”
  110. >”Da, papa. Also, you have one more magazine for me?”
  111. “Yeah, and from there, we improvise.”
  112. >”Blyat, I don’t want to be like Spartan again.”
  113. “We do have the means to try that again.” you say, pulling out the bayonet on the Type-56
  114.
  115. July 19th, 1:26am, The Ship
  116. >The ship appeared to still be laden with shipping containers, leaving only enough room for a single person to fit on either side.
  117. >You made your way across moving towards starboard, with Viveca tailing, keeping the rear.
  118. >At Starboard, you see a gangster looking ready to hit you.
  119. >Seeing this was a death trap, you motion to Viveca to move back to port.
  120. >Port side was clear, and the two of you began to move single file, Viveca still holding the rear.
  121. >Halfway through, you see a gangster step into view.
  122. >Immediately, you fire a burst of shots at him.
  123. >Behind you Viveca was also engaging another enemy.
  124. >At the gangster in front of you, you felt a couple of bullets hit you in your plates, while the gangster’s head erupted from behind like a burst water balloon.
  125. >By the time you were done shooting, Viveca had stopped as well, and tapped you from behind with a motion gesture indicating she dispatched the enemy at her end.
  126. >You tap Viveca on her shoulder, and motioned her to continue forward
  127. >At the end of the containers, towards the stern, you fire a burst into another gangster ahead, and found yourself now out of ammo.
  128. “Empty!”
  129. >”Clear!”
  130. >As you were about to grab Viveca, another gangster appeared from starboard.
  131. >You quickly react and throw the empty gun at him, knocking him down.
  132. >Picking the gun back up, you drive the point of the bayonet straight into his heart and pull it right out, creating a fountain of blood to erupt.
  133. >Behind you, you hear footsteps.
  134. >Viveca is charging in your direction, and then delivers a swift kick to the fallen gangster’s weapon, sending it over board.
  135. >”Cyka blyat!”
  136. >Wasting no more time, you pick Viveca back up, with her transforming back into her shotgun form.
  137.
  138. “Keep your eyes open for the captain of this ship or whomever is in charge.” you say to Viveca as you approach a door leading to the inside of the ship.
  139. >Inside the vessel were narrow corridors and pipes, obscuring any periphery.
  140. >You set out looking for stairs or doorways that would lead up to the top of the ship, all the while keeping your senses sharp for possible ambushes.
  141. >As you were about to turn a corner ahead, you feel Viveca shake.
  142. >You position yourself so that only Viveca was visible from the corridor, and fired two shots in that direction.
  143. >Even with your earpro, the sound of Viveca firing echoed loudly throughout the corridors.
  144. >Quickly turning the corner, you a gangster on the ground wheezing.
  145. >Standing over him, you slam your foot down on his head, crushing it as though it were a melon.
  146. >In one of the corridors, you heard someone speaking in frantic tones.
  147. >Moving in that direction, you came across a lone gangster with his weapon on the ground and his hands up in the air.
  148. >Viveca was shaking again.
  149. >You stomp your foot on the Type-56 AK, with Viveca still aimed at the gangster, and pulled out her magazine.
  150. “If you two don’t full cooperate, I’ll kill you both where you stand now. Keep your hands up and on your head, and take me to where the manifest is.”
  151. >The Type-56 then reverted into her human form, and place her hands on her head, along with the gangster.
  152. >They both get up, and begin to slowly move.
  153. >They lead outside and up to the top deck of the ship.
  154. >You allow the gangster to quickly open the door and be the first one to walk inside, followed by the Type-56.
  155. >Once inside, a couple of crew members, and what you could assume to be the captain of the vessel begin to shout at the gangster and you in Mandarin.
  156. “Tell them to hand over the manifest immediately.”
  157. >The gangster begins to yell something at them in Mandarin.
  158. >The captain begins to shout back.
  159. >Looking quickly at your watch, it reads 1:45am, with the deadline coming soon.
  160. “Tell them if they do not release the manifest now and point to me which containers have the weapons, I am going to gun everyone down here and now.” You commanded as you reload a new magazine in Viveca.
  161. >”Fine” said the captain, and produced the manifest from a safe.
  162. >”I am done trying to bring these weapons from Mr. Weng. Here is the container you seek.”
  163. >The gangster immediately began to yell something to the captain and the crew.
  164. >Tired and annoyed, you shoot him point blank in the face.
  165. >His head burst into chunks of gore, with his rifle now screaming.
  166. >You shot her as well, causing her to revert back into rifle form.
  167. >With the rest of the crew, you locked them inside the mess hall, so as to not to interfere with the operation.
  168.
  169. July 19th, 2:11am, berth 121
  170. >A semi-truck arrived a little later than you expected.
  171. >Inside, what appeared to be a large woman in a dog mask stepped out, along with another female, smaller than the other one, with auburn hair poking out of her dog mask.
  172. “You’re late, dog.”
  173. >”About that, we need to hurry up. Which container is it?”
  174. “Container# 120435-08. Follow me, and I’ll show you.”
  175. >At the container you open it, revealing all sorts of packed rifles.
  176. >”Ya sure these are them geists, boar?” said the woman trucker
  177. >”Da, already inspected.” replied Viveca.
  178. >”Alright.” turning towards the other female in the dog mask, “P, be a dear and find a lift to get his onto the truck.”
  179. >”YES MA’AM!”
  180. >With the container loaded on the truck, and securely fastened, the trucker and her partner were getting ready to leave.
  181. >Before she turned on the semi, you move towards her.
  182. “Hey, when you drop these girls off, tell whomever is taking the delivery or whomever that Congressman Weng seems to be involved in this.”
  183. >”Sure thing, hon. Figured somefin was wrong ‘bout that man.”
  184. >Looking behind you, Viveca stands there in the distance.
  185. “Also, tell that person I want out.” you said with a sigh.
  186. >The trucker nods, and begins to drive away.
