  2. [12/11/25 07:09:27]<AMARDA_GM> When last we left our heroes, Happy Cash had just revealed a rather shocking secret. How will they respond? I have no idea, lets find out!
  3. [12/11/25 07:11:08]* Shade gives voice to Terminal[H]
  4. [12/11/25 07:11:51]<AMARDA_GM> Happy Cash looks at Shade, wonder in his eye. "Miss Shade, you hath to teach me how to do that!" He says, as his horn starts glowing. Then as he does so, his features change slightly, two of his teeth elongate, very much like those of a Changeling, and his eye's take on a green hue. "See miss, I can kinda do that to!"
  5. [12/11/25 07:12:26]? Haywire walks alongside Dusk_Beam, keeping an eye out for shops or anywhere that could use a repairpony.

  8. [12/11/25 07:13:32]? Shade taps her chin "You need to work on imagining it in your mind. Eyes and teeth are all good and well, but what about the ears? or the horn? They're very important to changeling looks."

  11. [12/11/25 07:17:26]<AMARDA_GM> Summer looks at her son. "Huh, wha, why... Oh dear..." and promptly feints again.
  12. [12/11/25 07:18:13]? Shade blinks and looks over at Summer
  13. [12/11/25 07:18:18]<Haywire> "So, do you have any plan for gathering more resources?" He ponders, then shakes his head.

  15. [12/11/25 07:19:12]<Shade> "I take it you've either never shown her you could do that, or it's a new thing entirely." She looks back at Happy and asks before trotting in and trying to wake Summer back up
  16. [12/11/25 07:20:00]? Dusk_Beam trotts next to Haywire, giving him a quick glance before looking around town. "Well.. I was hoping there was something we could do around here.. Caps is pretty much the, ah.. Resource we need, can buy everything else we need with that."
  17. [12/11/25 07:21:29]? Terminal[H] stands there awkwardly, one foreleg crossed over the other

  21. [12/11/25 07:24:24]<AMARDA_GM> Summer comes to, this time looking very confused. "Please tell me that I've been dreaming." She says weakly.
  22. [12/11/25 07:25:08]? Haywire raises an eyebrow at Energy_Flair. "Well, I suppose..." He looks away and shakes his head. "It does furthers our objectives, and there is nothing really harmful about it, if you take the propper precautions, but are you sure it is enough? Our journey won't be trivial and we can't count for certain on other ourtposts to replenish our supplies."

  24. [12/11/25 07:26:04]? Energy_Flair sighs a bit. "I'm afraid I've depleted the last of my caps by giving it to you folks."
  25. [12/11/25 07:26:38]<AMARDA_GM> Summer stammers. "A pony, what's his names love, Haywire I think. Please let this all be one long nightmare, please?"

  27. [12/11/25 07:27:43]? Shade gives Summer a peck on the forehead "It's not that bad, is it? I mean, you've got a nice place, a foal who loves you." she shrugs "More than I have just yet."
  28. [12/11/25 07:30:19]<AMARDA_GM> "Right miss Shade, right. I My son can change what he looks like? Really?" Summer gets herself back to a seated position and pours herself another glass of Liqueur.
  29. [12/11/25 07:30:34]? TerminalEffect inexplicably blushes, giving Happy a smile <Not quite yet, it would seem>
  30. [12/11/25 07:31:40]? Midnight_Rain stands by Energy_Flair thinking to herself
  31. [12/11/25 07:31:48]<Shade> "Only partially it seems. And again, is that so bad? I've met a couple ponies who were good enough with illusions to all but mimic what a changeling can do with their appearance."
  32. [12/11/25 07:32:04]? Energy_Flair turns to Midnight_Rain. "Something up?"
  33. [12/11/25 07:32:05]? Haywire clears his throat, mildly embarassed. "So, I suppose I could assist a merchant of used wares and earn caps over it, or possibly another endeavor requires a repairpony here, currently."
  34. [12/11/25 07:33:57]? Dusk_Beam wingshrugs slightly. "Anything that would give us caps, right? This is important." She finishes with a firm nod.
  35. [12/11/25 07:34:17]<Midnight_Rain> "Just thinking about stuff."
  36. [12/11/25 07:34:36]<AMARDA_GM> Summer nods. "It was just shocking is all. Really really shocking." Happy meanwhile runs over to Shade and gives her a hug. "Miss can you show me more magic please?"

  38. [12/11/25 07:35:45]? Shade picks Happy up with telekinesis and floats him around "I can't do much to be honest, Happy. This and change my appearance. that's about the gist of it."
  39. [12/11/25 07:37:09]<Midnight_Rain> "Just going over what we know and trying to form up plans."
  40. [12/11/25 07:37:20]<Haywire> "I intend to use with my specialties, it's the optimal way of ensuring good results."

  42. [12/11/25 07:38:35]<AMARDA_GM> Happy cheers at being on Shade's back. "Giddy up miss Shade!"
  43. [12/11/25 07:38:43]? Dusk_Beam nods again. "Everything we have! Lets just hope there are ponies around here in need of our services."
  44. [12/11/25 07:39:11]? Energy_Flair thinks. "I still need to be fully filled in on our groups situation.

  46. [12/11/25 07:39:27]? Shade chuckles "Do you mind if Happy goes with me Summer? I think I'm going to go look for my friends."

  51. [12/11/25 07:42:31]<AMARDA_GM> Summer graciously accepts the hug. "Thanks big green." She whispers.
  52. [12/11/25 07:42:56]? Shade grins and gives Summer a quick hug as well before shifting into her earth pony guise and prancing out of the house
  53. [12/11/25 07:43:11]? Energy_Flair nods. "Alright, sounds reasonable for the wasteland."

  55. [12/11/25 07:44:07]? TerminalEffect has to hurry and keep up with the two smaller (for now) ponies.

  65. [12/11/25 07:52:08]<Energy_Flair> He nods. "Alright, that's all I really need." He smiles at Midnight Rain. "So then, can you give me a few more things about our group then? Because I would like to know them a bit better. I already met Mr.Plothole."

  73. [12/11/25 07:54:13]<Energy_Flair> "Ah yes, thats his name." He smiles to Haywire and Dusk_Beam.
  74. [12/11/25 07:54:46]? Dusk_Beam glances at Haywire, waving a hoof at Shade and the others. "Hi.."

  76. [12/11/25 07:55:25]? Haywire looks back, noticing Shade in the direction of Energy_Flair's gaze. "Ah, Shade.""bringing the little one for fresh air?"

  78. [12/11/25 07:56:23]? Shade nods and turns to look at Happy and give him a little nuzzle "How about you ride on Aunt Terminal's back for a little bit, I've got to talk to the stallion over there."

  80. [12/11/25 07:57:02]<AMARDA_GM> Happy nods and looks to Terminal. "Can I have a ride please miss?"

  82. [12/11/25 07:58:04]? Haywire eyes TerminalEffect with suspicion. "Will he be safe?"
  83. [12/11/25 07:58:44]<Energy_Flair> "Well, how about you and Miss Dusk?"
  84. [12/11/25 07:58:58]<Shade> "Yes he will, stop being a a-" she glances at Happy then back at Haywire "A plothole."

  86. [12/11/25 08:00:02]<Haywire> "I am just concerned about Happy Cash."
  87. [12/11/25 08:00:34]? Shade deposits exactly one Happy on Terminal's back and trots over to Haywire, lowering her voice "And that's exactly who we're going to talk about. How convenient."
  88. [12/11/25 08:00:40]<Midnight_Rain> "Well i'm a sniper and Dusk is a medic."
  89. [12/11/25 08:00:50]? TerminalEffect takes him in her own magic with nary a bobble, setting him down with plenty of room to grab her mane. Or any of the potential hoof holds on her armor. The magic doesn't quite disappear from around him though.
  90. [12/11/25 08:02:50]<Energy_Flair> He nods. "Alright, stay near Dusk, and Cover you. What about Our two male memebers besides me?"
  91. [12/11/25 08:03:35]? Haywire raises an eyebrow. "Is it a matter that requires discretion?" He lowers his own voice. "Not good news, I suppose. Did something happen to him?"
  92. [12/11/25 08:04:13]<Shade> "Answer a couple questions and I'll give you exposition. Who's his father, Wire?"
  93. [12/11/25 08:05:33]<Midnight_Rain> "Well Haywire is good with energy weapons but a bit annoying and can be trouble some but other then that he is all right, and as for Grand he is good at making stuff explode."
  94. [12/11/25 08:05:57]? Dusk_Beam smiles at Happy Cash before turning towards Shade and Haywire, listening in on their converastion.
  95. [12/11/25 08:07:01]? TerminalEffect doesn't really know what to do with Happy, so she trots towards some nearby store windows in search of something a colt might like.
  96. [12/11/25 08:07:54]<AMARDA_GM> Happy spots something. "Miss, go there, go there!" He says pointing at a bright display window.
  97. [12/11/25 08:08:55]<Energy_Flair> "Alright, I'm on similar wavelengths with Mr.Wire then. I prefer energy weapons. So give Grand his space. A nd finally, our coupled mares?"
  98. [12/11/25 08:09:43]? TerminalEffect turns towards the display window
  99. [12/11/25 08:10:09]<Midnight_Rain> "Well Shade is about to be a mother."
  100. [12/11/25 08:10:11]? Haywire caresses his cheek. "Well, you see... by all likeliness... unless something is amiss... according to what she told me... hm, well..." He looks down. "cap"
  101. [12/11/25 08:10:42]<Energy_Flair> "What?"
  102. [12/11/25 08:11:16]<Shade> "Fair enough." She pushes his head back up, making him look her in the eye "Was he a changeling, Wire?"
  103. [12/11/25 08:12:01]<Midnight_Rain> "Shade is going to me a mom."
  104. [12/11/25 08:12:25]<Energy_Flair> "Ah, how nice, but I thought she was with that large mare?"
  105. [12/11/25 08:14:20]<Midnight_Rain> "Terminal is Terminal all that matters is she crushes anything that gets in her way."
  106. [12/11/25 08:15:20]<Energy_Flair> "Well, its all fine and dandy that Shade is pregnant but what is her role in out group?"
  107. [12/11/25 08:15:34]<AMARDA_GM> What Terminal sees in the window is an enormous display of a candy store. "I want some!" Happy exclaims.
  108. [12/11/25 08:15:36]<Energy_Flair> "Also you're dodging my question."
  109. [12/11/25 08:16:01]? TerminalEffect nods, fighting the urge to lick her own lips.
  110. [12/11/25 08:16:35]<Midnight_Rain> "Well Shade is a kinda secondary medic with skills on par with Dusk and is also good to have in a fight."
  111. [12/11/25 08:17:11]<Energy_Flair> "Oh? What weapon style?"
  112. [12/11/25 08:17:34]? Haywire blinks. "What?! Of course not. Why are... " He recalls the contents of the black orb, his eye going wide. "...oh father. Are you saying... no. That... the implications." He moves his eyes to Happy Cash
  113. [12/11/25 08:18:01]<AMARDA_GM> "Can we go in miss? I have some bits, we could get a couple of chocolate ponies!"
  114. [12/11/25 08:19:28]<Shade> "Eeeeyup. Damn near scared Summer out of her skin. It's not complete but he's showing signs of changeling heritage, mainly having to do with changing his facial appearance, eyes and teeth, nothing major, but definitely changeling blood running through his veins."
  115. [12/11/25 08:23:46]? Haywire rubs his chin. "Are they only physical changes? Any chance of a psychological effect? Or succetibility to pheromones?" He tilts his head. "Are changelings succetible to feromones?" He looks back a Cash. "Then again, considering the purposes of that experiment, how can we know what sort of modifications... wait, would Medi know? This is something we need to ascertain before it becomes a risk to the foal himself. Where is Medi?"

  117. [12/11/25 08:25:38]? Shade facehoofs "Calm. Your. Tits. Wire. Medi knows, he was there with us when Happy did his 'Hey I've got glowing changeling eyes like you!' thing. And Pheromones are a thing, but I doubt they'd have much effect on him. No more than you or anypony else."

It means Cap was alterated and his offspring... they were most likely bred for war, if they can reconfigure a pony's biology, who know what kinds of signals could also be programmed into him?"

All manner of treats from liquorice to chocolate to some oddly shining toffee apples kept in a secured case. An old stallion, his mane half fallen out from age stands behind the counter. "Welcome." he says in a raspy voice

"You have more knowledge on changeling physiology, have you examined him? We need to know if Summer has records of his medical condition. It certainly would be expected for something so unusual."

  134. [12/11/25 08:44:11]<Shade> "You're overreacting. Is Shade gonna have to smack some sense into a bitch? Again?The best way to keep him safe is to get our business done, then move on. Hopefully if we're still alive after everything, we'll never have to worry about it, and if we do, well then we'll just have to find the cure for whatever ails him."

  139. [12/11/25 08:51:09]<Haywire> "Overreacting? The ways this plan may go wrong are countless!" He facehooves. "I cannot comprehend how you can take it so lightly, after all you went through." He looks back at her, skeptical. "Say, how are the voices in your head?"

  141. [12/11/25 08:54:20]<AMARDA_GM> Happy trots back to Terminal and levitates her raspberry sweet up to her mouth. "Take it miss, I promiss you'll love it!"

They've finally settled in, I think. and yes, you are over-reacting because it's this Cap stallion's foal, and according to Summer he's apparently some ex-lover of yours, so you probably feel some asinine need to keep Happy safe regardless of anything else. And yea, the plan could fail, we could die in the next ten seconds. there's no way to know, so stop fretting over

  145. [12/11/25 08:58:19]<Haywire> "Yes, as opposed to you, who is recklessly disregarding the severe and varied risks of the situation we find ourselves in. I cannot see how caring for his safety is bad by any measure. This is by no means little, but if that doesn't concern you, I won't waste my limited time any further." He turns away and gallops back to the house.
