Minecraft City

~~Minecraft City~~
On Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM EST(GMT - 4:00), we will be building a Minecraft city. Server info will be up some time Friday. You can come earlier/later but I might not be there. You will need the latest version of Hamachi (see end) to participate. Note that you do not actually need the latest version, that just makes it sound rpofessional.

~~The Plan~~
I will prepare a small city with roads using stone slabs in MCEdit. I will clear off plots on the city for people to build on, with signs showing who that plot belongs to. Max plot size is 25x25, and this includes any garden space or anything. Feel free to make any changes before the day of the city. If you would like to build a town building, let me know. Town buildings can be larger than 25x25, but I recommend you find a team to help you. You can also request your plot to be in the corner of the city or near a river or something like that.

The Junkyard is a place where you can fool around, building things like vending machines or mob traps.

After everyone has gotten themselves settled, we will start into our teams. (See below) The way it works, you will do your stuff for your team. Once the construction team has built your house, you can take some time off and decorate your house.

This is an entire team effort. No capitalism crap with buying things. We're going to work together to get this giant city done. If you see any people in the previous post, ask them if they're interested in helping out. There is also no griefing allowed, with measures being taken to prevent it.

There will be no night time because it is time and resource wasting. No monsters. Locks and other mods (suggestions please) will be enabled.

~~Teams~~
Everyone will be in a team unless they cannot make the specified time.

Construction:
This team, led by Bluebomb, deals with building the basic frames of houses, because this is a real pain to do. This team also deals with design crap.

Mining:
This team is self-explanatory. Still have to find a leader, but they will be responsible for getting anything you can get with a pickaxe.

Resource/Farming/Support:
This team is the hybrid team. Their first job is to find resources not within the jurisdiction of the mining team. Their second job is to build farms and other utility buildings, as well as find noms. Their third job is to support the construction team when they've nothing else to do. I've yet to choose a leader.

~~House Application~~

To sign up for the house team to build you a frame, this is the information you need:
-Name
-Plot size
-Material and dimensions of wall(s)
-Material and dimensions of floor(s)
-Material and dimensions of ceiling(s)

e.g My plot is 15x15 my name is Bluebomb. I would like you to build a 15x15 layer of cobble, and a 15x15 layer of wood on top of that. I would like a room height of 5, with wood walls of 6 blocks. I would like a second floor with walls 4 block high made out of wood and a wooden ceiling.

All requests will be processed and prioritized based on the time required to complete.
