*6:43 - NUANCE - "it's hidden in obscurity" --> "it's a disgrace" -- Literally in context, it's something that SHOULD be in hiding. Not unknown.
*9:57 - LITERAL - "I will protect it by myself!" --> "I'll continue the tradition by myself!" -- ‘「家を守る」 typically means keep it running, or in this case, to keep their Onmyouji lineage going.
15:18 - NUANCE/NEGLIGIBLE - "But it probably didn't cost that much" --> "But it's probably a really cheap ribbon" -- Very confusing phrasing. "It" did cost him 1,000 yen as well.
**15:37 - ERROR/LITERAL - "Man, she's in a good mood" --> "Man, she's so carefree" OR "Man, she's so manipulative" - 「調子いい」 does not mean "in good shape" when used to describe people. It means "trying to make things go their way", usually by sucking up, but in context, she quickly moved on to the next thing that pleases her, or less likely but arguably she was being manipulative.

*19:37 - SCRIPTWRITING - "Resistance is futile!" --> "We're authorized to use deadly force!" -- Literally "You're dead if you resist." Although the original line "works", this line should sound more threatening.

The answer is, lying/lies" -- This line is either trying to say "sorcery, like magic tricks, is all about finding ways to trick people", or more likely in context to the story, "it's about lying to yourself" as in making yourself believe another reality and it becomes real etc. Ambiguously phrased line as this should be translated into something ambiguous to leave the interpretation to the viewer.
