[01:43] <SavanahHolland> Wendys footsteps echo in the room, she stares at him for a moment, knowing that he was the one that rescued Lilith the night before. She seems glad she doesn't feel quite as terrible and continues staring, she says quietly, trying not to completely put him in a terrible mood "Hello."
[01:46] <Uracilo> Ju turns, eyeing her up and down. "Hi, you're the girl from yesterday. What do you need?" He ends the question by scooting a little farther along the couch's edge and patting the spot on the carpet next to him.
[01:50] <SavanahHolland> She seems almost suprised by his actions, she then gives him a bright grin, sitting where her motioned "I wanted to ask you" she pauses "Well more so I've asked everyone." she laughs "Do you know anything about.. erm." she doesn't know how to quite put it into words "Defence..." she then trails off for a second "with your mind."
[01:51] <Uracilo> "Oh... that's a strange question. What brings you to me with that?" He asks, leaning back once again, his eyes closed.
[01:53] <SavanahHolland> Wendy shifts in place slightly "I've been wanting to ask everyone that, and you were the first person I saw, I hope you don't mind me asking about it though!" she looks down apologeticly
[01:57] <Uracilo> "I don't mind, it just isn't an easy question to answer. I wouldn't know where to start," he sighs, rubbing his forehead in a circle with two fingers. "What are you looking for, exactly? If there's anyone messing with you, you could just ask me to deal with them instead. It takes much less work to beat up some punk with powers than to build a mental fortress."
[02:00] <SavanahHolland> Wendy builds up her smile again "I appreciate the though of that, but I wanted to do that because of how i've been trained to use my powers. I can do plenty of physical pain to someone but when it comes to mind things.." she trails off for a moment "I worry that at some point it might catch up to me that I haven't worked on it like with my strength, and I really don't know who to ask about it."
[02:03] <Uracilo> "Well, I can at least point you in the right direction. First off, building a mental fortress is nothing like building muscle; repetition will only wear your imagined walls down, and straining yourself can lead to side-effects. Are you sure you want to do this?" He sits straight and opens his eyes, holding his hands out towards the heater to warm up.
[02:06] <SavanahHolland> Wendy nods confidently "Yes, I do want to do this, I need to be able to protect myself in every way." she thinks for a moment "What can I do to get where I need to be?"
[02:08] <Uracilo> "Well, first thing is to see if you've got any proficiency at all. Try to imagine a box, and come up with defenses meant to keep people away."
[02:15] <SavanahHolland> Wendy bites her lip, then thinking of a box. The box is oddly detailed in her own mind, a black color with firey red swirls all around it. She then thinks of something familar to herself, always following her along a path in her own dreams. A silver wisp of sorts defending the ember box. You can almost feel the focus comming off of her.
[02:17] <Uracilo> Ju pokes her ear, suddenly.
[02:22] <SavanahHolland> Wendys eyes open quickly from the suprising touch, almost falling over to her other side, not even slightly seeing it comming. She then stares at the boy, now not sure what to say.
[02:24] <Uracilo> "That's no good. Try again with something different. Can never use the same thing twice."
[02:27] <SavanahHolland> Wendy then takes a sharp breath, trying to go back into focus. This time it is a different box, it's a dark blue, almost black color. Little white specks dot it all like stars. A small stuffed rabbit, which was the one Twelve held on to, keeping watch over the box with its fake button eyes. She yet again seems to be in a state of focus.
[02:29] <Uracilo> Ju leaves her hanging for a few minutes this time, letting her reinforce her construct. Then, something cold and slimy touches her nose.
[02:32] <SavanahHolland> Wendy takes another sharp breath in, her body wanting to pull away at the feeling, though the box still stays in her mind, protected, though the image wavering ever so slightly. She seems uncomfortable with the sensation on her nose but manages.
[02:37] <SavanahHolland> Wendy hears the sound, maybe a little more relaxed at the sound of what she hoped to be Olive, that or Ju was creepier than she had orginally thought. She doesn't exactly respond much more from that, though she seems to be trying not to giggle.
[02:38] <Uracilo> "Okay, good. You can stop now."
[02:39] <SavanahHolland> Wendys opens open, hoping to see Olive around, just to ease her small concerns on the topic.
[02:40] <Uracilo> Ju sighs and hands over the struggling cat. "Keep it on your lap, you'll need it to distract yourself and not use up all your designs."
[02:42] <SavanahHolland> Wendy nods, taking the cat in her own lap with a smile. Glad that it was a cat, otherwise she would hunt down Akemi to help her get away with murder, good thing that didn't happen. "So.. what now?" she asks curiously
[02:43] <Uracilo> "In any case, that's the basic technique. Meditation can help you clear your mind to preserve your designs for much longer, but if you try to learn it now you'll probably end up wearing down your fortress out of boredom. There are more advanced techniques, but they'll just cause distractions right now, so stick to that whenever you think your mind might be threatened, or have to control an emotion."
