  1. key: if a song has this โœ‹, it means I predicted it to be in the top 5.
  2. ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช || 26th || GERMANY -- I knew Germany were destined for last place when I had seen they scored just 1 point from the jury voters. The performance, admittedly, was extremely underwhelming but the song is so different that I can't dislike it. Jamie-Lee is a charming young lady with a unique taste in fashion. That makes Germany last place twice in a row now. It's a shame too, since this is usually the country I vote my favourite in Eurovision.
  3. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ || 25th || CZECH REPUBLIC -- I was absolutely devastated to see this got 0 points in the televote. It deserved so much more. The staging was very powerful and she sang to perfection, but on the brighter side of things: this is the Czech Republic's best placement of all time.
  4. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง || 24th || UNITED KINGDOM -- To be honest, I didn't like the staging at all. The song is okay, but it's so forgettable that I can't be mad that we scored so low, however we did certainly put on a better show than a few other higher scorers. We even temporarily made it to the left side of the board and scored a 12 from one country's jury votes, which made me really happy!
  5. ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ท || 23rd || CROATIA -- This scored too low. For a song I don't like, this was very undeserving of just 23rd place. Her outfit was amazing, her staging was okay, but her singing ruined it all. I may even go far as to say that it was worse than Azerbaijan's singing.
  6. ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ || 22nd || SPAIN โœ‹ -- We're only at 22nd place and 3 of the big 6 countries are out. Spain had an amazing show, amazing singer, amazing song, and pulled off a temporary silence INFINITELY better than Douwe Bob did. This was my 2nd place song and deserved top 10, but it didn't even make top 20...
  7. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡พ || 21st || CYPRUS -- This is about where I expected Cyprus to place. The staging was nearly no different to what they had done in the first semi final. Nothing special to say about this.
  8. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ช || 20th || GEORIGA -- I have no words. The UK jury gave this 12 points and I couldn't explain how furious I was. I just want to say that this, at highest, deserved 25th.
  9. ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ || 19th || HUNGARY -- This song deserved so much better. I assume people disliked his voice, but how could you hate him at all? He's so adorable! The staging was no different to his A Dal performance in Hungary, though. It fell pretty short for a song (and a man) I love so much.
  10. ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ || 18th || SERBIA -- Her singing was fantastic, and her staging was bland. I think this deserved below 20th, personally, and I completely forgot she had even qualified in the first place.
  11. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ || 17th || AZERBAIJAN -- At least you lost to Armenia! I couldn't stand her singing, as usual. I'm really glad she got below 15th place. I still really love the song, by the way.
  12. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น || 16th || ITALY -- Another one bites the dust. As a dear friend of mine had said, she seemed very shy and artificial on the stage. Her staging was probably among the best, but she should have at least moved around. Also, as everyone probably thinks, the song should have remained in Italian only.
  13. ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ป || 15th || LATVIA -- This scored way WAY lower than I had anticipated. Great song, okay singer, okay staging. I thought people would have voted for him for being goodlooking, which he isn't in my opinion by the way, but it turns out he's just meh.
  14. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ || 14th || ISRAEL -- About where I'd predict Israel to have landed. The staging was my 3rd favourite overall tonight, but I've never thought too much of the song. He's so cute though, I'm really glad he got into the final.
  15. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น || 13th || AUSTRIA -- Hmmm... Just about 13 places too high. Terrible performance.
  16. ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡น || 12th || MALTA โœ‹ -- I was expecting Malta to be a few places higher, actually. The staging really let this amazing song down. It could have even gone into the top 3 if they had just put more on the stage. Her singing was fantastic live!
  17. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ || 11th || NETHERLANDS -- I'm actually really shocked at how high this got. The staging was pretty good, yeah, but the 10 seconds of silence was probably the creepiest thing I've ever seen happen in Eurovision ever. His song is boring and very much clichรฉ. Not even the guitar solo was impressive. Next.
  18. ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช || 10th || BELGIUM -- HAHA, HOW DO YOU DUTCHMEN FEEL ABOUT BEING BEATEN BY BELGIUM? Ok, but seriously it was a better song than what Douwe Bob had to offer, depsite being a complete rip-off of another song and having a really forgetable and flat performance tonight. Semi-final 2 was better, but having to hear this particular song twice in a row (last in semi 1, first in final) I really am finished with this song. It scored way too high.
  19. ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡น || 9th || LITHUANIA -- For some reason I had a feeling this would do very well. It's a generic pop-song and the guy has a six pack. Nothing new. I did like the floor though.
  20. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ || 8th || POLAND -- It took me some time to realise that the new voting system actually DID announce if a country scored 0 points in the televote. This happened, wrongfully, to the Czech Republic. I was holding onto a string of hope that said Poland would not be called out for having any televotes at all, and that it would remain in last place with only 7 points. But, when I found out that it had scored the 3rd most televotes, I was MOSTLY disappointed in the fact that it had surpassed my own country! Let alone making it to the left side of the board.
  21. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ || 7th || ARMENIA -- I'm low key really glad this made it to 7th. I was expecting it to fail terribly because it was so different and her accent is awful, but the staging and her singing really took the cake for me. Well done Iveta!
  22. ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท || 6th || FRANCE โœ‹ -- I was honestly expecting this to possibly win or take 2nd place. He is a fantastic singer, as seen in some of his singing outside of music videos (he even covered Say Yay! in French. Listen to it now!) but his performance had nothing of importance added to it and his singing was considerably worse than what I have heard previously. I still want to give him a big kiss. He has such an adorable smile!
  23. ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช || 5th || SWEDEN -- I'm furious. This deserved bottom 5, for me. It was my least favourite performance of the night. His voice was awful. And what pisses me off most is that no other Nordic country participated, meaning that Sweden inevitably got 12 points from Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Fuck sake...
  24. ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฌ || 4th || BULGARIA -- The live performances weren't all that, but her song is my favourite. And she scored 4th. I was expecting lower than 10th... I'm genuinely so happy that I saw Bulgaria shoot up into 4th place. From this point onwards there are no songs that I did not like.
  25. ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ || 3rd || RUSSIA โœ‹ -- I'm just gonna come out and say it now. I think Russia should have won. The song originally was an earsore for me, and I hated it. But now? It's my 6th place. It had the best staging by FAR. He had to sing laying down and jumping over blocks, which is something that no other contestant had the audacity to even attempt. And the reason I think he should of won overall is because he owns his own dog bakery called the Poodle Strudel. And because he's hot.
  26. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ || 2nd || AUSTRALIA โœ‹ -- This song never really stood out much to me, but she is amazing live. She wouldn't be able to get Australia to host Eurovision because of EBU laws, but she damn gave it her all. I love her. Well done Dami!
  27. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ || 1st || UKRAINE -- So, in my semi-final comment about Ukraine, I stated I was most happy about this qualifying. And guess what? She won. I am so over the moon happy. With such a personal song (SUNG IN CRIMEAN TATAR) I am genuinely over the moon that she won for Ukraine. The rivalry between Russia and Ukraine was so tense, I wished nothing but the best for both of them. I wasn't expecting her to overtake Australia but she's won Eurovision for her country and she has done absolutely all of us proud. Thank you, Jamala.
