[18:26] * Mad_Modd  our group had learned about some random high paying job in the next settlement over, Harmony Heights. And they have set off tp investigate!
[18:27] * Ragebrew led the herd towards Harmony Heights, easily following the plentiful tracks of previous ponies heading out there ahead of them. Ever so often, she'd dart off this way or that, vanishing behind a dune, only to return from the other side of the path a few minutes later.
[18:28] * Spectre follows the group at a distance. Cursing he daylight from behind his sunglasses
[18:29] * Midnight_Hour follows, reading her new book while walking (As usual for the bookworm pony)
[18:29] * Merciful_Devotion hums a tune as she walks, occasionally looking back at the rest of the group
[18:30] * Elektron "So what's at this Ministry Hub anyway?" he asks, still not sure what to expect upon arrival "Is it research? Development? Neither?"
[18:30] * Mad_Modd  Ragebrew finds some edible roots, a few useful herbs and even some dirty water that was drinkable
[18:30] * Ragebrew popped up beside Elektron from a ratmole hole. How'd she fit in there? "Not a clue. But my hoof of doom and snazzy sweet gun are tied to it." Zoop, away she went again.
[18:31] <Spectre> "They tend to have useful loot regardless...
[18:32] * Kniffy ([email protected]) has joined #piss_poor_group
[18:33] * PAL- comes to a dead dead stop and slightly tilts its head. "Who is PAL?"
[18:33] * Elektron nods "Do you know anything about this particular one?"
[18:34] * Ragebrew shrugged. "Project Tartarus. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Only clue we got is that."
[18:34] * Ragebrew looked back at PAL. "Errr, yer robot's on the blink."
[18:35] * Elektron 's eyes widen "What the-? I didn't give it any queries... PAL, what was the last command you executed?"
[18:36] * PAL- stares blankly. "Follow."
[18:38] * Elektron takes a slight step back "This... this isn't in its programming at all! You should be running Equestrian Command 4.072! What is your matrix version?"
[18:38] * PAL- stops and begins whirring. "I don't know."
[18:39] * Spectre watches for a few moments "Just deactivate the machine.... Deal with it later"
[18:39] * Ragebrew shrugged. "Welp, I think I bonked it's nogging a few times when I carried it back from the carnival. Sorry..."
[18:39] * Ragebrew looked over at Midnight_Hour "Ya know anything bout robots becoming self aware, miss nose in a book?"
[18:40] * Elektron 's eye twitches "You don't know?! Its in you long term spell matrix! Access it!"
[18:40] * Midnight_Hour looks over the top of her book. "Anything with artificial intelligence has the potential to become self aware, but the chances are slim."
[18:41] * Merciful_Devotion rolls her eyes. "Another robot that'll talk on its own? Fuck me with the sun..."
[18:41] * Ragebrew grinned. "Well, I think I bonked the right circuit then. Or Elektron fiddled with it's programming just right."
[18:41] * Elektron scratches his head "Should we listen to it? This isn't supposed to happen at all..."
[18:42] <Spectre> "I vote for deactivating it..."
[18:42] * Ragebrew looked at Elektron, patting him on the back. "Seeing as PAL ain't all "Crush kill destroy swag" on us, I think this is fine. Congrats, ya made yerself a friend."
[18:42] <+Midnight_Hour> "Literally."
[18:43] * PAL- whirrs more. "Accessing, accessing."
[18:43] <+Merciful_Devotion> "... Swag? You're really using that term?"
[18:43] <+Ragebrew> "I don't know why, but the little voice in my head told me to slap that on at the end...."
[18:43] * Spectre frowns "DO you even know what it means?"
[18:44] * Merciful_Devotion giggles. "Honestly I've heard it. Never once understood anypony who said anything with it."
[18:44] * Elektron sighs "We can figure it out later. Some data stream must be doing bad things..." he says, moving to the robot to deactivate it
[18:44] * PAL- stops whirring. "Error, I do not know."
[18:44] <+Ragebrew> "I have no clue what it means. Guess it has something to do with swagger?"
[18:45] <+Ragebrew> "I don't question the little voice in my head, alright? It has good ideas."
[18:47] * Spectre shrugs and decides not to question the crazy earth pony
[18:47] * Elektron turns off the robot
[18:49] * PAL- slumps down and its light flickers off. It remains like that for several second before its light flickers back on and it returns to its original posture.
[18:49] * Elektron blinks "That was the shutdown protocol! What is this?!" He saysm clearly frustrated
[18:49] * Ragebrew chuckled. "Pal doesn't want to go to sleep it seems."
[18:50] <Spectre> "remove the power source"
[18:50] * PAL- backs away for Elektron. "Why did I lose three point one eight seconds of time?"
[18:51] * Ragebrew looked at Spectre. "Am I the only one who wants to treat the self aware robot like I would a pony?"
[18:51] <Spectre> "Its a machine... It should be treated like one"
[18:51] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I just don't want it waking us up at three in the morning like the last one..."
[18:51] * Elektron scratches his head "I can't, exactly. These were made with multiple redundant power sources. One fails, the other can pick up the slack."
[18:51] <+Ragebrew> "That one was bugfuck insane."
[18:53] * Ragebrew facehooved and rolled her eyes. "Seriously, just treat 'em like a pony. Weird shit happens. Enjoy it. Congrats Elektron, ya jury rigged yerself a full blown AI. Can we get back on the road?"
[18:53] <+Elektron> "and you! I shut you down, and you booted back up with a signal. You're losing data you should have access to, refusing queries, and now I'm talking to my own machine like its alive!" he says, flabergasted
[18:53] * PAL- looks at the group. "What is wrong? All systems currently read as ninety percent functional."
[18:53] <+Elektron> without a signal*
[18:54] * Merciful_Devotion giggles. "At least it's entertaining."
[18:55] * Ragebrew looked at PAL. "Until a few hours ago, ya were just another run of the mill robot. Now yer asking questions like a living pony. Bit... unsettling for our gear head. Hi PAL, or would ya like another name?"
[18:56] * PAL- moves over to Ragebrew. "What are you, why are you here? Why am I here? What am I?"
[18:57] * Ragebrew blinked a few time. "Not expecting that. I'm Ragebrew, I'm an earth pony, I am here because my parents fucked 25 years ago and managed to not miscarry me. Yer here cause some pony build ya to protect a Stable. Yer a robot."
[18:58] * Midnight_Hour watches silently, her attention divided between her book and the robot.
[18:58] * Spectre grumbles and looks for a nice shady place to sit until things calm don and they get on the move again
[18:59] * PAL- tilts its body and then turns a full circle. "You are a pony. Why are you a pony. I am a robot. Why am I a robot?"
[18:59] * Elektron clears his throat "Actually, he is a Mark IV Protectapony running Equestrian Command 4.072 with an external sensor array and door breaching tools... to be specific."
[19:00] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Okay, I take it back... Not so entertaining."
[19:01] <+Elektron> "and... I have no clue why I would be asking that, even less of an answer for it..."

[19:01] * PAL- holds a leg up. "Error, unknown version number, error, unknown purpose."
[19:01] * Ragebrew shrugged. "Because that's the body ya got stuck in before becoming self aware. Random chance, quirk of fate, those little things no one has control of. Yer PAL, and yer purpose is, well, whatever ya want it to be."
[19:02] <+Ragebrew> "Unless ya want to be someone becides PAL. That's what we called ya. What do ya want to call yerself?"
[19:03] * PAL- whirs again. "Why would I want to become something else?"
[19:04] * Ragebrew shrugged. "Because ya can do whatever ya want now?"
[19:05] * PAL- whirs loudly before its light blinks off again. It then reboots. "This self does not understand."
[19:07] * Elektron bristles "You said you wanted us to follow you before. Where was your destination?"
[19:07] <+Ragebrew> "Someone else wanna try to help the robot with identity issues?" She facehooved again. "Yer can think for yerself, so ya can decide what ya want to do with yerself now that yer able to question and decide things. We're heading to Harmony Heights, city a ways away from here. If ya wanna come along, yer welcome to join us. We can help keep ya maintained and charged."
[19:10] * PAL- tilts forward. "why are you going there? What purpose do you have there?"
[19:10] <+Merciful_Devotion> "We wanna check out some stuff."
[19:10] * Ragebrew smiled "Because we can. Need we more reason?"
[19:11] * PAL- tilts back. "This unit will follow. Please lead the way."
[19:11] * Spectre stands up "We're continuing then?"
[19:11] <+Midnight_Hour> "Well, this isn't unsettling."
[19:12] * Ragebrew nodded "With pleasure." She chuckle,d looking over at Midnight_Hour "Very, but it could also end up being very awesome as well. Ya ever had the chance to teach a perfectly blank slate about the world, Midnight? Here's yer chance."
[19:13] * Elektron adjusts his glasses "May as well keep going... maybe I can think of something that could get mixed up to make it start doing this..."
[19:13] * Midnight_Hour grimaces. "Great. Programming a figurative foal that can kill."
[19:14] * Elektron shakes his head "This protectapony doesn't have any defensive capabilities besides running or ramming, and it would probably hurt itself more than you."
[19:14] <Spectre> "It doesnt carry any weapons right? If this thing is self aware... And a oal in mentality, i wouldnt feel comfortable knowing it might shoot me in the back by 'accident'
[19:15] * Ragebrew shrugged. "Meh, laser pistols only hurt a little bit. Not like I haven't been shot by everyone in this group except for ya, Spectre."
[19:15] <+Ragebrew> "And I'm plenty comfortable with 'em."
[19:15] <PAL-> "This unit does not understand the concept of 'Shoot me in the back.' Please explain."
[19:16] <Spectre> "Perhaps you dont mnid but i certainly do..."
[19:16] * Spectre snorts and ignores the machines question
[19:16] <+Ragebrew> "Shooting someone in the back means you shoot them with a weapon from behind. Avoid doing that to anyone ya consider a friend."
[19:17] * Ragebrew rolled her eyes, knowing the next question. "A friends someone that ya trust, enjoy having around, can rely upon for help, and generally makes ya feel better when they are around."
[19:17] * Ragebrew resumed the long trot to Harmony Heights. "This is gonna be an interesting trip...."
[19:19] <+Merciful_Devotion> "You're telling me..."
[19:19] * Elektron follows Ragebrew, still unsure of this situation
[19:20] * PAL- tilts its head forward as best it can. "Understood. Do not 'Shoot ponies in the back.' unless they are friendly or nice or not planning to harm this self."
[19:21] * Ragebrew facehooved. "Ya got that wrong. Don't shoot friendlies, nice ponies, or those who mean ya no harm."
[19:24] <Spectre> "This is going to bite us all in the ass later..." he mutters
[19:26] * Mad_Modd  the group has walked for several hours, putting them about halfway to Harmony Heights. The desert mostly empty other than the trail and a few fresh looking holes off to the side of it....
[19:26] * Ragebrew looked over at the hole, looking at the sand for tracks.
[19:26] * PAL- follows along, whirring loudly as it monitors the world.
[19:28] * Elektron nudges Ragebrew and nods his head over to one of the holes "Something is watching us..." he mutters
[19:29] * Ragebrew sighed as she looked over at the holes. She rummaged in her fwuff for a moment before pulling O'neigh out, readying it's action. "Ah, go figure. Eyes open ponies. I imagine we have friends close by."
[19:30] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Well unless it either has some ice packs or wants a fuck... I'm shooting it."
[19:30] * Mad_Modd a little blue bunny with a pair of little antlers on it's head hops out. Watching the group inquisitively...
[19:32] * Spectre frowns at the comment about being watched and starts looking around for somewhere to disappear to
[19:32] <+Merciful_Devotion> "... Is that a rabbit?"
[19:34] * Ragebrew shook her head, staring at the jackalope from behind her combat sights. "That's a jackalope. Nasty little horned bunny. Those horns hurt like all hell."
[19:34] * Elektron frowns "It doesn't look very harmful..."
[19:34] * PAL- tilts. "Accessing image files... Is it Wabbit season?"
[19:34] <Spectre> "Can we eat it?"
[19:35] <+Merciful_Devotion> "... I'm with Spectre on this one..."
[19:35] * Mad_Modd  a second then a third join the first, each a different color...
[19:36] * Ragebrew nodde. "Figure these things run in packs... Yup. Packs. Right then." She stood her ground, staring down the sights. "And I don't trust anything rainbow colored in this world."
[19:36] * Spectre glances to Merci is mild surprise then looks back, blinking as more joined the first "I wonder if we're on their menu now..."
[19:37] * Mad_Modd  six more join the first three...
[19:37] * Ragebrew looked at the others. "I'd rather not get punched full of holes, but time for bunny stew. Spectre, if ya'd please be so kind?"
[19:37] * Midnight_Hour looks around, putting away her book. "I really don't like this."
[19:37] * Mad_Modd  ten more come from behind the first group...
[19:38] * Elektron pulls out the Plasma Defender "How-how many are there?"
[19:38] * Spectre pulls out the grenade rifl "Boom?"
[19:38] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Damn... That's a lot..."
[19:38] * Mad_Modd  the first one timidly hops up to Elektron and sniffs his hoof...
[19:38] * Elektron freezes, unsure what to do
[19:39] * Ragebrew stared down at the bunny, O'neigh pointing right at the bunny.
[19:39] * PAL- hides behind the group. "Are they friendly?"
[19:39] <+Ragebrew> "Don't know yet. They are neutral."
[19:39] * Elektron gives a weak smile "Good... bunny?"
[19:40] * Mad_Modd  the little bunny turns and hops back to the others who slowly disperse or hop into the holes...
[19:41] <+Merciful_Devotion> "... So no stew?"
[19:41] * Spectre points the grenade rifle at the larger group in the back but relaxes when they hop away "Huh..."
[19:42] * Ragebrew waited as the jackalopes returned to their dens. "Alright... Well, no holes then. Plus, I already tasted the rainbow, and I ended up like this. Lets take detour, give these bunnies some space."
[19:43] * Elektron nods and puts away the Plasma Defender
[19:43] <+Ragebrew> "Oh no. Keep that out."
[19:44] <+Elektron> "They didn't leave?"
[19:44] * Ragebrew trotted a good, long distance around the jackalope den, keeping an eye on the mounds. "Ya know, there's a reason zebras fear bunnies. I'd rather not find out why."
[19:44] * Spectre doesnt put his weapon away and takes to the air, keeping a couple feet off the ground "Lets keep moving"
[19:44] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Wait... Zebras are afraid of those things?"
[19:46] <+Ragebrew> "Afraid of bunnies in general. I could never sell 'em radbit pelts."
[19:46] * Mad_Modd  they successfully go around, but they can't shake the feeling of being watched...
[19:46] * Midnight_Hour nods. "I believe they called Fluttershy's pet rabbit, Doombunny. Why, I don't know, but all depictions of Angel Bunny had it frowning, even our own."
[19:47] <+Merciful_Devotion> "That's... Almost as weird as being afraid of the stars..."
[19:49] * Ragebrew shrugged. "Smaller the spider, more lethal the bite. Again, I don't wanna find out." She pulled out a cigarette to chew on, looking around the wasteland slowly. "Just get on with it..." She muttered.
[19:49] <Spectre> "Cowards... The lot of them"
[19:49] * Elektron follows Ragebrew
[19:51] * Mad_Modd  another hour passes without incident, but that feeling of being watched only become more unsettling...
[19:52] * Midnight_Hour shudders, not even trying to pull her book out again. "I hate this."
[19:53] * PAL- finally pipes up. "Why is moving becoming unusual or un-optimal. This is difficult to phrase."
[19:53] * Spectre continues to hover around, peering around the group trying to find the source of the feeling
[19:54] * Merciful_Devotion shivers. "Damn this is creepy..."
[19:55] * Elektron stays close to Ragebrew "How dangerous are those bunnies exactly?"
[19:55] * Ragebrew sighed as she lit her cigarette, pulling on it slowly. "So, I wonder who our follower is. Bet it's someone with a grudge. It's always someone with a grudge. Oh, Jackalopes? Problem with 'em is their numbers. Alone, pretty hardy, but not that much of a threat. Fourty of 'em. Kiss yer plot goodbye."
[19:57] * Elektron gulps and continues trotting along
[19:58] * Mad_Modd  as if Ragebrew had summoned it a little blue jackalope hops in front of the group... followed by another.... and another. Other bunnies start showing themselves from all around the group.... all eying them with a... hungry look...
[19:59] * Spectre hovers there for a moment then brings up the grenade rifle "RIght... Enough of this..."
[19:59] * Ragebrew rolled her eyes, slung O'neigh off her back, and promptly opened fire. "Lit 'em up!"
[19:59] * Elektron pulls out the Plasma Defender
[20:00] <+Merciful_Devotion> "... Okay. Fuck me with a damn balefire egg..." She readies her saddle at the group of bunnies
[20:01] * PAL- looks about and continues trotting. "Do they only eat organic? If so this unit should stay out of the fight."
[20:05] * PAL- suddenly stops and its light flickers off.
[20:05] * Mad_Modd  the bunnies all bear there widdle fangs as one and charge! The large body of them running towards Elektron
[20:07] * Elektron takes three shots from the Plasma Defender at random targets in the group, saving some energy to dodge after finishing
[20:09] * Mad_Modd  Elektron misses horribly only killing a single bunny.... you monster
[20:14] * Merciful_Devotion turns and unloads a barrage of rounds from her LMG
[20:19] * Mad_Modd  Mercy's barrage mows down five of the charging bunnies, a half dozen still right by Elektron poised to pounce him...
[20:20] * Mad_Modd  another large ground getting dangerously close to Mercy...
[20:21] * Midnight_Hour summons her shield around her before conjuring a storm cloud above the group.
[20:26] * Spectre levels his rifle and aims away from the group,hoping to catch Merci only on the edge of the blast. Hopefully her armor would be able to handle it
[20:31] * Mad_Modd  the grenade hits it's mark, sending bunny bits flying in all directions! The blast being enough to scatter the bunnies, the survivors scattering and running from the fight....
[20:33] * Spectre smirks and lands "Hopefully the carcasses can be salvaged for meat.." he says, looking for a bunny corpse
[20:34] * Elektron pants slightly, putting the pistol away and shaking himself off "Do you think they'll stay away this time?"
[20:34] * Ragebrew shrugs, taking a couple potshots at the stragglers. "Maybe?"
[20:35] * Merciful_Devotion winces, staggering slightly from the explosion nearby. "Ugh... Damb Spectre
[20:35] <+Merciful_Devotion> *damn Spectre that was close... Glad those things weren't faster."
[20:35] * Mad_Modd  Ragebrew's parting shots hit one of fleeing bunnies, making it explode
[20:36] <Spectre> "If they were any closer i wouldnt have fired... I figured your armor would be able to withstand the blast"
[20:36] * Ragebrew slings O'neigh back over her shoulder, eyeing the exploded jackalope "Right... Content under pressure it seems."
[20:37] * Spectre grumbles at the lack of any intact bunnies and grabs a leg, biting into it and sucking it dry "Shame"
[20:37] * Merciful_Devotion blinks at Spectre's actions. "... Now that looks kinky..."
[20:37] * Elektron shudders at the blood sucking
[20:38] * Ragebrew shrugged. "Meh. Bloods good stuff. I use it in stews time to time."
[20:38] * Mad_Modd  a large white jackalope with fangs large enough to be called tusk shakes it's widdle fist at the party in rage before it runs off...
[20:39] * Spectre raises an eyebrow "What is with mares and the biting... One of my masters used to want me to do that. Until i almost killed her trying to escape."
[20:39] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I dunno. I just think it's hot."
[20:39] * Ragebrew looked over the blasted remains of little fwuffy bunnies. "Well, figure they've been praying on... Seriously? SERIOUSLY?!" Shey yelled at the fleeing white bunny. "Right then! How about some rabbit hole clearing?"
[20:41] <Spectre> "Dont we have other things to do today? Like get that job?"
[20:41] <+Ragebrew> "Yeah, and we got a den of flesh eating jackalopes setting up shop right along a major highway. One, how many ponies have they killed, two, how much loot might we find on said dead ponies?"
[20:42] * Spectre pulls out the cosmic knife and passes it to Rage "Either way... Lets not remain here, If you want to clear the den lets first get what meat we can from these corpses"
[20:42] <+Merciful_Devotion> "And this shrapnel out of my ass..."
[20:44] * Elektron nods "Lets just keep going. Maybe they'll leave us alone..." he says, not believing it'd really happen
[20:45] * Ragebrew nodded as she trotted over to Merci, moving her armor out of the way so she could pluck the slivers of metal out. "Not too deep, just a flesh wound. It'll heal in time." Her mouth now a little bloody, she trotted over to the field of dead bunnies, and went about harvesting any shreds of meat, scraps of pelt, horns and teeth she could.
[20:45] * Merciful_Devotion shakes herself and sets her armor right again. "Flesh wound... Still stings though."
[20:46] <Spectre> "At the next settlement im sure you can find somepony to kiss it all better"
[20:47] * Ragebrew smiled as she looked at Merci "Flesh wound, or a bunch of angry little teeth in yer shins? Sometimes blowing yerself up is the best option."
[20:47] * Elektron trots over and turns the robot back on "Please be normal please be normal please be normal..." he mutters
[20:48] * Ragebrew offered the knife back to Spectre. "Alright, shall we go rabbit hunting, or press on? Might find some useful stuff in those dens, along with a fuckton of bunnies."
[20:48] <Spectre> "How big do their dens get?"
[20:48] * PAL- reactivates "Have they left already?"
[20:48] * Spectre puts the knife away and watches Elektron
[20:48] * Ragebrew shrugged "No idea. Doubt I could fit in them easily. Might need to do some digging."
[20:49] * Ragebrew looked at her herb sack "Or we could smoke 'em out. Collapse some of the tunnels, smoke out the only good one. Killing field."
[20:49] * Elektron nods "Affirmative... what is your matrix version?"
[20:50] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Especially with my Vibrator here." She motions to her LMG.
[20:51] * Midnight_Hour groans. "Didn't need to hear that, Mercy."
[20:51] * Ragebrew gave Merci an amused snort. "An apt name for that."
[20:52] * Ragebrew looked back to the dens "So, which way, forward or back? Figure we could do some havoc real quick."
[20:52] * Spectre frows "Smoke could work... "
[20:53] * Merciful_Devotion rolls her eyes at Midnight_Hour. "Ah hush you. You need to get laid or something, really... Or at least read a good porno."
[20:53] <+Ragebrew> "Figure Midnight and Merci shovel sand into the holes, we drop a couple smoke bombs, maybe a dozen, into the last hole, kill anything that comes out."
[20:53] * PAL- tilts sideways. "I do not know."
[20:54] <Spectre> "FLush them out into a killing field..."
[20:54] * Elektron bangs his head against the robot "Dang it."
[20:54] * Midnight_Hour rolls her eyes back. "Find me a prince or somepony with a little class out here in this hellhole, and I'll take your advice."
[20:55] * PAL- looks at Elektron. "Why is this organic one beating its head against me?"
[20:55] * Ragebrew looked at Midnight_Hour "Not gonna happen out here, Midnight. I suggest ya have Elektron build ya a BOB or something. And it's doing it, PAL, because he doesn't know what else to do with ya."
[20:56] * Elektron shakes himself off and looks at Ragebrew with a tilited head "BOB?"
[20:57] * PAL- looks at Ragebrew. "Is there any way this unit could help it?"
[20:57] * Midnight_Hour cocks her head to the side and furrows her brow. "Bob?"
[20:58] <+Ragebrew> "Battery operated buckfriend." She trotted back towards the rabbit holes, pulling out the Samaritan and loading it with buckshot. "Come along class. It's wabbit season. And I have no idea PAL. Try giving him a hug and telling him it's alright, yer still his PAL. Softly. No crushing ribs now."
[20:59] * Elektron blushes and follows Ragebrew
[20:59] * Merciful_Devotion takes a moment to reload her weapon before following the group
[20:59] * PAL- reaches out and pulls Elektron into a mechanical hug. "Is this unit doing it right?"
[21:00] * Spectre laughs and makes sure his rifle is reloaded "Yes you are machine... Good work"
[21:00] * Elektron squeaks "Ah! Its.... um... decent? Let me go though." He says, struggling slightly
[21:01] * Ragebrew chuckled "Oh come on Elektron. Of all the ponies I know, I figured ya'd be bounding with joy at having a robo-bro."
[21:03] <+Ragebrew> "Or sis. Hey PAL, what pronoun do ya like more, him her, or it?"
[21:03] * Spectre satisfied the grenade rifle is ok he turns to the others "So... Shall we get a move on?"
[21:03] * Elektron shakes his head "I've never seen one do something like this... I didn't think the code for artificial intelligence existed."
[21:04] * Ragebrew shrugged "Well, guess ya were wrong. How about that. Maybe ya can repeat it, make yerself a whole metallic family."
[21:04] * Ragebrew was already back on the path back to the bunnies, humming a little tune. "I wonder why they thought that was a good idea..."
[21:05] * Spectre will take up the rear when the others get moving
[21:06] * PAL- lets go of Elektron
[21:11] * Elektron shakes himself off and continues onwards with everyone else
[21:13] * Mad_Modd  they return to the rabbit holes after another hour of walking. There is no activity around...
[21:14] <Spectre> "Anypony ave a shovel?"
[21:14] * Elektron shakes his head and looks down a hole
[21:14] * Ragebrew kept the Samaritan at the ready, trotting up towards of the holes. "We got telekinetics, and this is sand." She flicked on the flashlight to the Samaritan, pointing it down the bunny hole.
[21:14] * PAL- follows the group
[21:15] * Mad_Modd  a cluster of brightly colored bunnies runs out of the hole and darts into the desert
[21:15] * Spectre blinks "Uh... Shall we?" he asks, readying the grenade rifle again
[21:16] * Elektron jumps backwards and pulls out the Plasma Defender
[21:19] * Ragebrew watched the bunnies flee. "Smart blighters." She pulled her head out of the sand.
[21:19] * Mad_Modd  Spectre sees, just before it connects, the large white bunny from before flying through the air towards Ragebrew, kicking him solidly in the head...
[21:30] * PAL- whirs then shuts down
[21:31] * Mad_Modd  the bunny rebounds off of Ragebrew and goes flying at Elektron kicking him a few times before kicking off of him and flying at Mercy's face in a flying kick
[21:36] * Mad_Modd  the bunny messes up Elektron bad, almost breaking his leg before kicking Mercy in the head hard
[21:38] * Elektron stumbles back, his foreleg and torso throbbing taking some precise shots at the bunny
[21:38] <&Mad_Modd> -30 to hit this guy, strong possibility of friendly fire
[21:41] * Mad_Modd  the colt misses the bunny and hits Mercy in the side! Giving her a bad plasma burn
[21:46] * Spectre growls and pulls out the knife, narrowly missing the bunny on his first swing before the second connects
[21:47] * Ragebrew staggers back at the kick, blood oozing out from around the grip of the Samaritan as she started to find, moving between healing Elektron with a potion and firing at the bunny with the Samaritan "A little bunny who thinks himself funny.
[21:50] * Merciful_Devotion grunts, her head ringing as the rabbit's foot connects with her head, then yells as plasma burns into her hide. "Rrrgg... Fuck!" She yells, blasting rounds full-auto at the bastard bunny.
[21:54] * Mad_Modd  the bunny screeches as the angry mare rakes it with MG fire, but it still stands...
[21:54] * Midnight_Hour summons another shield before firing off a beam of pure light at the bunny bastard.
[21:56] * Mad_Modd  the beam burns a large patch of fur of the bunny, it look /very/ angry now
[21:57] <+Ragebrew>  /me staggers back at the kick, blood oozing out from around the grip of the Samaritan as she started to sing, moving between healing Elektron with a potion and the Samaritan "A little bunny who thinks himself funny." She pulled back the hammer "A little rodent, who've ever so potent." She lined up the sights "A side of meat, who's ever so fleet..." She squeezed the trigger "Ya'd better run, before yer shot by this gun!" BLAM!
[22:01] * Mad_Modd  the bunny is battered and bloody, but still alive. It kicks off of Mercy and goes flying at Spectre, kicking him in the head twice before going to Elektron, trying to kick his legs out from under him and kick him in the gut
[22:05] * Mad_Modd  the bunny mauls Spectre and bounds off of him, kicking Elektron's legs out from under him, but the colt falls right on top of it! Pinny the poor wittle thing...
[22:07] * Spectre lets out a growl as hes hit, his ears ringing from the hits "Imma drain that bastard!"
[22:08] * Spectre probably didnt sound that coherent though. Slurring his words
[22:09] * Elektron gets off the bunny and takes two more shots at him(her?)
[22:13] * Mad_Modd  Elektron finishes it off, reducing the thing to a blackened glowing corpse...
[22:15] * Elektron pants heavily for a few moments before putting away the Plasma Defender and looking at everyone else "Is everypony alright?"
[22:15] * Spectre blinks and looks disappointed by the corpse "Aww...." he then collapses onto the ground clutching his head
[22:15] * Ragebrew looked at the corpse for a moment "Ah call 'is teef." Then she rushed around, applying bandages to the wounded in short order. "Seriously, fly next time Spectre. Ya got wings and all..."
[22:15] * Merciful_Devotion pants as well, glaring at the corpse before slumping onto her rump with a groan.
[22:16] <Spectre> "Yes mom..." he grumbles
[22:17] <Spectre> "I cant do anything when flying though against something like that rabbit.. Not uness you all want to be picking shrapnel out of your hides"
[22:18] * Midnight_Hour looks down at the burnt up bunny. "Humph."
[22:18] * Ragebrew rolled her eyes as she wrapped the bandage around the batpony's head. "Alright, anyone else in dire need of aid? No one got a broken leg or the like? I can craft up some more magical bandages quickly. Rather not burn through my potions, and the bandages are pretty weak."
[22:18] * Elektron rubs his foreleg a bit before trotting over to Merciful_Devotion "Did I um... hit you before?" he asks, knowing the answer
[22:19] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I got a bad headache..." She says to Ragebrew, turning to glare at Elektron. "No. The smoldering hole on my side has always been there."
[22:20] * PAL- reactivates. "Is the fighting over? This one would like to know."
[22:20] * Ragebrew pulled out her alchemy kit quickly, merely throwing some bandages into the pot, pouring some healing potions over them and stirring.
[22:20] * Elektron bristles and backs up "Sorry..." he said, looking down in shame
[22:21] * Merciful_Devotion groans and rubs her head. "Ugh... Sorry Elektron... I get a bit snappy when I have a headache..."
[22:22] * Elektron nods "Still, sorry."
[22:22] * Spectre gets back onto hishooves and taps his ea dacouple times "A bit better... That thing kicked hard..." he mutters going over and prodding the charred corpse
[22:22] * Ragebrew works as quickly as she can, and nearly causes the entire mixture to go up in smoke, but eventually she pulled the wad of bandages out, applying them as needed.
[22:25] * Ragebrew half the party ended up covered all over with bandages. Mummy ponies! "There, better. Now... The bunny.." She trotted over, and tried to take those huge teef!
[22:35] * Spectre heads over to the burrows
[22:35] * Merciful_Devotion brushes over her burn with a wince.
[22:36] * Ragebrew trotted over to Merci, pointing at the bandages over her scorch mark. "That'll scar if I don't fix it. Don't have any pain killers, but I can fix it... It'll just... Hurt..."
[22:36] <Spectre> "Hopefully we get something useful out of this"
[22:36] * PAL- looks at the group silently
[22:36] * Mad_Modd  Ragebrew gets the front teeth from the jackalope...
[22:37] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I don't want a scar... My looks are what've kept me alive and feed most of my life..."
[22:38] * Elektron trots over to PAL "Yes, the fighting is over."
[22:39] * Ragebrew nodded "Alright. Spectre, I need yer knife." She pulled out a wooden dowel with leather wrapped around it, offering it to Merci "Yer gonna want to bite down on this..."
[22:40] * Spectre passes the knife over and goes back to poking around the burrows
[22:40] * Merciful_Devotion nods and stuffs the towel into her mouth, biting down hard
[22:41] * PAL- tilts forward. "Good. So, why are we standing here. Why are those ones damaged?"
[22:42] * Ragebrew peeled the bandages off carefully, looking at the mass of scar tissue with a click of her tongue. "Yer lucky I like ya Merci. Normally I hate wasting meds for looks." Coming from the scarred to sunday and back pony... "Just... Hold still. It'll be harder if ya squirm..."
[22:44] * Elektron "Um because... we fought a really angry rabbit and some of us got hurt. Ponies don't hea- repair like machines do? They can heal naturally but the result isn't always perfect and it takes time." he offers
[22:45] * PAL- tilts sideways. "So ponies need a Self Repair upgrade? This one thinks that it is ill equipped for self repair."
[22:46] * Ragebrew works as quickly as she can, but as precisely as she can. It was not a pleasant process, surgery without painkillers... "Sorry sorry sorry sorry." She muttered around the handle of the knife as she applied healing potion to the exposed tissues.
[22:47] * Merciful_Devotion clenches her teeth and screams into the towel as Ragebrew works.
[22:48] * Elektron clenches his eyes shut and covers his ears as Mercy screams
[22:52] * Ragebrew finished up in due order, wiping the blood away from her mouth. "Alright... Done..."
[22:57] <&Mad_Modd> Spectre finds a ancient looking stable suite, a big faded 9 on it's back....
[22:58] * Merciful_Devotion sits there shuddering for a moment. "T-Thanks Rage..."
[22:58] * Spectre looks at the suit and tosses it aside, continuing his search
[22:59] * Ragebrew nodded. "It's alright Merci. Now we get to be together in the "Shot by allies" club."
[22:59] * Mad_Modd  Spectre finds nothing other than rabbit dropings
[22:59] * Elektron trots over to Spectre, picking up the scrubs "Was this in the hole?"
[23:00] * Spectre nods
[23:01] * Elektron looks it over "You don't want it?"
[23:02] <Spectre> "Why would i?"
[23:03] <+Ragebrew> "Because clothes?"
[23:03] * Spectre rolls his eyes "Im fine with what i have" he replies
[23:04] * Elektron opens his mouth to respond, but comes up with a blank "I see your point. It'd be nice to have something to wear besides armour that isn't... ugh, these." He said, shuffling uncomfortably in Latex's "Gift"
[23:04] <+Ragebrew> "Then take 'em?"
[23:05] <Spectre> "If it were not for the protection they provide i wouldnt be wearing anything..."
[23:05] * Midnight_Hour swallows hard before burying her face behind her book.
[23:07] * Ragebrew looked at Spectre, then looked to Midnight_Hour, and burst out laughing. "Oh darlin', ya got all the mares melting for ya." She shook her head before looking around the other holes, poking around here and there, looking for anything.
[23:07] * Elektron puts the scrubs in his packs
[23:07] * Merciful_Devotion sits and just... Relaxes a bit, still aching from the surgery.
[23:07] * Spectre gives an irritated sigh and returns to searching
