  1. Chief is trying to blow up each of the halo rings. He tried to convince ONI to help him but they are interested in the scientific benefits of them. So chief is going around trying to destroy them and Locke is tracking him.
  2.
  3. Guardians is mostly about chief trying to detonate the rings while Locke chases him. Also Jun is hunting Halsey. After Locke fights Jun he (Locke) turns to chief's cause.
  4. I don't know why Jun is such a primary character in this but I like the way we used him. After being defeated bully Locke his forerunner implants start to overload.
  5.
  6. Didact exists in a sort of transcendant non-physical form. You know ultimately what he comes to be formed as.
  7.
  8. Chief is in the control room of Halo (installation 01 I believe) about to activate what is essentially a self destruct protocol (not really but I'm simplifying this) when Locke approaches him from behind. Locke tells him to stop. Chief says nothing. Locke aims his weapon. Chief turns around. Locke orders chief to stand down. There is a moment of silence before chief darts forward and ducks as Locke shoots. Chief rises up, Locke blocks chief's punch and responds with a berate of hits which seem to connect well with chief. Chief goes to hit lock but Locke blocks both fists and is holding chiefs fists.
  9. Chief headbutts Locke which hurls Locke down to the ground. Chief goes to stomp Locke but Locke rolls over and equips a special weapon given to him by ONI which essentially locks down Spartan and elite armor.
  10. Locke shoots chief with the weapon once, stunning chief and putting him on his knees.
  11. Locke approaches chief but is surprised when chief grabs Locke by the throat and throws him a few yards away. Chief rushes Locke, who shoots chief several more times with the weapon, causing chief to stumble and crash into Locke. They both roll around, struggling to subdue the other. Locke grabs chief'S helmet, begins to twist it, but chief pivis his position and throws Locke over him, but Locke holds onto the helmet which is ripped off.
  12. The camera does not show us chief's face.
  13. Chief says "that belongs to me".
  14. Locke responds with "it's over 117, you're not the last Spartan anymore".
  15. Chief says "let's see if you're right" and reveals he now has the weapon. He shoots Locke once who is instantly subdued and can not move. Chief walks over, takes helmet, puts it back on, and goes to knock out Locke but suddenly we hear "Spartan, stop", as the arbiter enters the room.
  16.
  17. Chief is very silent in Guardians. Even in the cinematic where Locke catches up and they fight, he says nothing until Locke rips off his helmet.
  18.
  19. Currently the planned cliffhanger is that he becomes susceptible to forerunner control and at the last scene is him confronting ONI. He insists that he is fine and feels better than ever. They give him his new targets, Chief and Locke. As he walks out of the briefing room, he mutters to himself the last lines of the game "revenge can not come soon enough, human"
  20.
  21. We are actually not sure if we are going to get to the ending we want (that's part of what is frustrating me) but as of now the flood will break containment at the end of guardians.
  22.
  23. Basically...
  24. Chief wants to destroy halo rings
  25. ONI wants to harvest forerunner tech from rings/use them as potential weapons
  26. Chief sets out to destroy them on his own
  27. ONI sends Locke to bring in chief
  28. Jun is alive and has been cybernetically enhanced with forerunner tech, making him a discount kai lang/winter soldier
  29. Jun takes out whoever speaks out against ONI (he kills Laskey and Half-Jaw)
  30. Forerunner tech is slowly driving him mad
  31. Locke catches up with Chief but is defeated by chief in a Spartan v Spartan smackdown
  32. Chief shows Locke what the flood are, Locke joins chief's adventure temporarily but then they split up when they learn OKI is planning to use the rings to wipe out sanghelios
  33. Halsey is playing Jul Mama, she's not evil
  34. Jun shows up, kills Mdama, about to kill Halsey, but Locke stops him
  35. boss battle with Jun, he goes 200% crazy when you beat him, surrenders consciousness to forerunner tech, blacks out
  36. meanwhile chief storms ONI HQ, fighting his way through Spartan 4s, scorpions, manti, and pelicans(this is the last level)
  37. Chief kills Palmer and puts an end to the Spartan 4 program. Heads off to the final halo ring to destroy it.
  38. Final scene is Jun being briefed by ONI executives in an unknown location
  39. Jun appears perfectly normal despite what happened earlier
  40. He is given his next targets, Chief and Locke.
  41. Jun accepts his mission and as he leaves the room, he mutters to himself: "Revenge can not come soon enough, human."
  42.
  43. As for halo wars, I'd be lying if I said there were no plans. Frank wants to do it and we even have a rough story sketched out.
  44. Obviously we wouldn't be making it. I have no idea what studio we would ask at this point, especially since it would need to be made for Xbox one first and foremost. the story involves the spirit of fire ending up at one of the Halo rings. They have to exit the ship due to a flood outbreak (there's flood on SOF from HW1) and you have to start building a resistance from scratch on one of the rings. Plan is for a flood campaign to be included. Thats all I know. Apparently this is supposed to tie into explaining how Reach and TFOR do not contradict each other as well. I have no idea how though. Like I said HW2 is something we just need to give to someone. That's all there is to it.
