He is a typical Human vampire of average height and girth - a pale, muscular figure. The shape of his frame is angular and sharply defined, his powerful limbs terminating in slender, graceful extremities. A pair of narrow, ice-blue eyes rest above a long, slender nose and thin, bloodless lips, and his blonde hair is swept back from his face, cut short and prim. He is wearing:

Arthas steps into the library with long strides, offering a faint nod to all the familiar faces before he bows to Abhorash. "Primus."

Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Long has my Gift been diluted. What was once great and ancient is now no more. The Houses that I saw the rise of are in most cases, no longer worthy."

Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a, "Some would bid me take action against you, Ve'kahi."

Marharet chews thoughtfully on her lip.

Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "The Voltaire approached Me, Primus--I only set the terms that were accceptable to us, and where once there were two houses dying or worse, therenow is one that thrives--I apologize for nothing in that regard, as the Voltaire were free to choose against the merge at any time."

"You mistake my words, Ve'kahi," Abhorash says with a ghost of a smile.

Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a, "You have done a service to me, and in time I may choose to reward you for it."

Looking around to those gathered, Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "No this, Voltaire shall not be the last to be no more."

Marharet creases her brow in a frown.

Sarita's eyebrows rise slightly, but she remains quiet and motionless otherwise.

Nodding in acceptance, a thoughtful look on her face, Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "Noted, Primus."

Arthas moves his hands to clasp them behind his back, watching the exchange inbetween Erzsebet and Abhorash. Few moments later as the two quiets, he speaks up and does so in a polite tone. "Primus, You are our elder and we exist through you. However I still would like to ask one thing, if possible."

Abhorash stares implacably at Arthas.

Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Speak, Childe."

Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "Why is it you choose to reward a House that desires no part within the Imperium and thus outright denying Your legacy? Every Househad their ups and down during your Torpor. Something that had distrubed select few of us, at least that I know of. Not many has left that actually cares about the Imperium and even so within our Houses. The Imperium may no longer be the ruling embodiment of the Consanguine, but it to me while I served as the Mazhar of Nebre'seir and to some other House Leaders existed as the Legacy of the Consanguine and Yourself."

Abhorash stares implacably at Arthas.

However Voltaire and other Houses were formed by your Command in time and they have represented some values of the Consanguine. All have suceeded where all have failed. But without our Legacies, how are we any different?"

Abhorash slowly lifts a hand, turning his gaze from Arthas.

Erzsebet laughs abruptly, shaking her head at Arthas, amusement clearly stamped on her face. She coughs after a moment, belatedly concealing any auditory sounds of her mirth before returning her serpentine gaze to Abhorash.

Infin inclines his head politely to those around him.

Marharet inclines her head politely to Infin.

Infin bows respectfully to Abhorash.

Prince Infin Quintus-Lunare, Blood Elder says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "Grand Sire."

Speech slow and measured, Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Which of you here doubts that if I but reached out and willed it, I could tear the Gift from you for eternity?"

Arch Duchess Marharet D'baen, Caliginous Phantom says, "Not I, Primus."

Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "On something like that, only a fool would call your bluff even if they had doubt."

Sarita looks taken aback, but manages to say, "I would think you quite capable of that and much more."

Erzsebet nods her head at Sarita, showing her acceptance.

Though they no longer rise, some of us still hold true to the nobility of Blood established long ago." He nods once at Arthas, "We have toiled to adhere to our history and status. Forgive me if I am mistaken, but our Blood has always been what set us apart from others, your own Blood of royalty among the hordes of commoners. Is this not what we were taught, the basis of our entire race?"

Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "That is the problem Primus. While I do not doubt nor would ever offend you... I find it entirely pointless to be a Consanguine. If it is just to be able to use the abilities of one. But not actually be a Consanguine, to disregard the legacies we were taught. To turn our back on our traditions."

Simply, Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says to you, "Except...-ALL- blood stems from the Primus."

Marharet winces in pain.

Shixblix swiftly gallops in from the east.

Kiershu bares her teeth in a feral grin.

Erzsebet snorts arrogantly.

Nodding his head firmly at Abhorash, Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says, "If these houses matter not at all, then why do we exist? If some other house can absorb each other, why were thesehouses formed? I am a Nebre'seir, Not a Ve'kahi, Not a Bahir'an not anything, Nebre'seir. A Nebre'seir cannot be something else but just what it is: Nebre'seir. We were raised in a manner that was taught to us by our Grand Sire. I'm sure Voltaire had a similar method in raising their thralls and young ones. But if one house can absorb another, then why are there these houses Sire?"

Abhorash gives Arthas a pained sigh.

The soft sparkle of tittering laughter issues from Kiershu as she covers her mouth, eyes unable to hide the amusement.

Softly, ignorable, Arch Duchess Rennie Lunare, Twisted Artisan says, "Permission to speak, Primus?"

Macavity gives a pained sigh.

Abhorash stares implacably at Rennie.

Mastema enters from the east, riding a donkey.

Rennie falls silent, blushing at her mistake.

Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Arch Duchess Rennie Lunare, Twisted Artisan, "When I wish for the words of a Lunare to grace my ears, Childe, I will command the words to flow from you. Pray it is only that which I will draw forth."

Marharet covers her mouth with her hand to hide a grin, but fails to hide the amused twinkle in her eyes.

Rennie flinches a little but stays silent. The words she wants to speak fall upon her lips but she nods and just watches.

 Arthas remains standing tall, with his attention cast upon those who have gathered. His face is devoid of any emotion at least none appears to be dominant as he remains silent.

Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "To think I am attempting to soothe the feelings of my Blood."

 Macavity tilts his head back, inhaling sharply several times.

A lich librarian bends over and picks up the withered husk of Macavity.

The corners of Ezrax's mouth lift slightly in a small grin.

Kiershu nods her head sagely.

Daskalos Qefin utters a series of foreign words in a rich, melodic tongue.
A talisman hanging around Daskalos's neck glows with a sudden luminescence that grows rapidly, encompassing his form and then vanishing, taking him with it.

Count Ezrax Voltaire says, "Ha ha ha, I have guards."

Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says, "What is that fool trying to accomplish this time around?"

Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Food often goes down complaining."

Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "It is no bother."

Marquess Synelle Voltaire says, "I do so hate that annoying piece of.. life."

Count Ezrax Voltaire says, "Daskalos is just showing off, because our great Majesty is here."

Marquess Synelle Voltaire says to Count Ezrax Voltaire, "Can I have him for a snack?"

Count Ezrax Voltaire says, "He holds secret awe for him."

Ezrax nods his head at Synelle.

Synelle claps her hands together merrily.

With a lustful grin Synelle drives her fangs into a vein of the corpse of Daskalos and, slurping greedily, draws out its still-warm blood from the wound in long, deep, sucking pulls. Finally satisfied, she casually discards the corpse.

Rennie chews thoughtfully on her lip.

Synelle carefully tosses the useless corpse back out into the street, dusting off her hands with a bright smile. "Yum."

Count Ezrax Voltaire says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "Perhaps this is his way of proving his worth to be your Childe, Majesty."

Abhorash waves his hand dismissively at the world, clearly demonstrating his boredom.

Rennie murmurs something softly to Shixblix.

Erzsebet's green-gold eyes sparkle in amusement, snorting at Ezrax's comment before turning her attention back to Abhorash completely.

Rennie fidgets a little but stops abruptly.

Macavity nods his head at Abhorash.
