Day 1 of New Life -
"Life here isn't so bad. It's hard to get by, yeah know? But I think i'll be right as long as I have my trusty scythe. Hopefully i'll be able to get food somehow tomorrow."

Day 2 of New Life -
"Was able to get some food from a nearby farm. The owner had some chickens, so I took some eggs in exchange for cutting down their grass. Was getting pretty tall. Cooked them over a fire. Was nice."

Day 5 of New Life -
"A guard chased me today after I tried to steal some apples from a stall. I suppose it wasn't the best option, but I needed food badly. I guess money would help in this situation. But without a job, i'm out of luck."

Day 7 of New Life -
"The local blacksmith is hiring. I went there and talked with a man named Jav'nel. He seemed nice enough. Though he turned me down due to me not having much knowledge in knowing how to work with metal. He told me he'd be willing to train me though. So I suppose this is a good opportunity."

Day 12 of New Life -
"A really frecking gross black creature found it's way into my secret room and tried to kill me by launching itself at me. Luckily I was making sure my scythe was in decent condition so I had it handy at the time. It seemed to disintegrate into a black sticky liquid when I killed it though. Mopped it up with some rags and tossed it out into the sewers"

Day 27 of New Life -
"Jav'nel has taught me a lot. He says I should be able to actually work and get paid and stuff in a few days if I continue training hard. Hopefully that means I can stop stealing food from others soon."

Day 31 of New Life -
"Guards were waiting for me at the entrance of my secret room when I came home. I guess they've been tracking me or something after that whole apple incident. And no doubt that there have been reports of a tall thief in rags. I was able to sneak in and grab my belongings."

Day 35 of New Life -
"Been living with Jav'nel for now. He said I could use his house since he almost never uses it. It's a lot bigger than most of the other houses here in this village. Though I suppose being a blacksmith pays well, so it's to be expected."

Day 36 of New Life -
"Black creatures in different shapes and sizes were waiting outside the house tonight. I saw the moonlight bounce of their body and solid white eyes through the window. I made sure everything was locked and i'm staying up until morning."

Day 47 of New Life -
"Been working at the smith now for quite awhile helping Jav'nel with various things. He pays me well, so i'm able to afford tons of food now, and was able to get some decent clothes. Though I guess I should also start spending it on other things, like maybe a haircut or something."

Day 61 of New Life -
"Jav'nel died today. Body found with organs missing and bite marks in throat. I went to do my own investigating and found black stains on the floor."

Day 87 of New Life -
"I've been taking care of the blacksmith since Jav'nel's death. I don't know how to run this place as well as he did, but I think i'm getting the hang of it. I was able to make myself a new scythe with some of the materials lying around this place. I dont think he'll mind."

Day 99 of New Life -
"Went back to my secret room in the sewers. I opened the door and it was almost entirely black. Sacs that shined against my torch light like the flesh of those creatures held who-knows-what while hanging from the ceiling. I quickly closed the door after viewing the room for a good 10 seconds. I'm never going back there."

"House burned down. Unknown cause. Guards gave up on investigating."

Day 134 of New Life -
"I had a dream tonight. I was running. I was running from a man. His -i-- was a solid -----, and he ---- ----se- that seemed to have solid white --am--, covering his eyes. The mans voice was distorted and strange. I was running through woods i've never seen before as he chased me. T--- figure suddenly appeared infront of me. One second it wasnt there, the next it was. I stopped dead in my tracks, and then fell to the ground in pain. I then woke up in my bed."

"Woke up. Not my house. Someone elses house. Look out window. Not the village I live in. Run outside. Recognize no one. Ask where I am. They simply look at me like a crazy person and brush me off. I run back into house. Clothes no longer here. Not my clothes. Journal on table next to bed. Blood in journal. Not my blood. No wounds. Scythe under bed. Not my scythe. But similar. I will go look for answers."
