  1. I wasn't sure where I had ended up.
  2.
  3. The last thing I remember was being on a mediocre cruise ship, and hearing someone yelling that everyone should "abandon ship" because "this bitch is goin' down!" If I had actually paid for that ticket instead of winning it for free, I would probably be more pissed off. I know that I got on a life boat, but after that everything else is a blur.
  4.
  5. I sat up, feeling something hot under my hands. I looked down--I was on a warm, sandy beach. In front of me was the beautiful blue ocean, and in a flat heap was the orange life boat that I had somehow arrived here on. I could see a large rip in the side of it, so luckily I had enough air left to make it to dry land. Looking around, I didn't see anyone else--I couldn't have been the lone survivor, right? Or did I just get a life boat all to myself? That seems a bit strange, but then again I only remember maybe a dozen people being on the ship. We probably each got our own life boat, or life raft as it looked like.
  6.
  7. I tried to stand up; my legs felt like jelly, but I managed to keep my balance. Luckily, nothing felt broken. As I started to walk, I saw that besides being lucky enough to be alive, I wasn't on a deserted island--far from it. I could see a small town in front of me, with the most beautiful, welcoming-looking gates. They were made of wood, but in my situation they looked like the gates of heaven minus the whole "being dead" thing.
  8.
  9. I walked into the town's plaza, looking around; no one acknowledged me, but I was happy about that. The citizens all seemed to be animals of the walking and talking variety--some looked like typical islanders, while some were dressed in formal attire like they owned the place. One place that caught my eye was a food stand with a large burger-shaped sign over the top. I made a beeline trail to it and saw a very bored-looking aqua-blue-colored guy, with a face like a rat, staring back at me. His name tag read "Dave."
  10.
  11. "Welcome to Meh Burger, what do you waaaaant?" He asked, dragging on that last word as if me standing there bothered him. I looked up at the menu and couldn't see anything too appealing.
  12.
  13. "I'll just take some water." I replied. A clean, empty glass was shoved out close to my face. I took it from the Dave's hand and looked at him. "Uh ... with some water in it, please?"
  14.
  15. "But I'm on breakkkkk ..." He groaned. He pointed past me, and I turned to see he was directing me to the ocean. "The water's out there. I won't even charge you." Before I could say anything else, he walked away from me and dug a paddleball out of his shirt pocket. "On breakkkk ..." he repeated with an annoyed groan.
  16.
  17. "Thanks." I placed the glass back on the counter. Dave ignored me, as I expected.
  18.
  19. "The service here is terrible. You'll get used to it." A female's voice came from behind me.
  20.
  21. I turned, seeing another animal--a pink hedgehog holding a large mallet over her shoulder. I gave her a quick glance; she wore a red dress that ended just before her legs, with golden buttons down the side. Something that looked like some kind of white tape binding was around her stomach. Although her clothes did a good job of covering her, they failed in hiding her curves--her breasts were quite a nice size. They looked to be more than a handful, which was more than enough for me.
  22.
  23. Thankfully, she had somehow failed to notice me eyeing her body. I looked up at her and saw two beautiful green eyes looking back at me. She had a smile on her face, and held out her hand to shake mine. She wore two white gloves, something that seemed common for the animals on the island. Beautiful golden rings were around her wrists, with purple sports tape underneath. I took her hand and shook it, smiling back at her.
  24.
  25. "I'm Amy Rose, but just call me Amy." She said. "You're new around here, right? I've never seen you before."
  26.
  27. After I explained my situation, or what I remembered of it, Amy was surprised.
  28.
  29. "That's amazing. The fact that you're here must mean you're pretty lucky." She said. The two of us were sitting at a picnic table near Meh Burger, with Amy in front of me. "How long have you been here? Where are you staying?"
  30.
  31. "I've been here about a whopping ten minutes." I replied. "I suppose my house is popped on the beach."
  32.
  33. "Well, you can't stay out there!" Amy said, standing up from her seat. "It's supposed to rain tonight!"
  34.
  35. "Fantastic. I can get a shower." I joked. Amy shook her head and walked around the table, taking my hand and pulling me up.
  36.
  37. "Nonsense, you can stay at my house tonight." She said.
  38.
  39. "You're allowing a stranger that you just met, someone who isn't even your species, to stay in your house?" I asked. "Isn't that a bit dangerous?" At that, I saw Amy glance at the hammer over her shoulder and give me a grin.
  40.
  41. Question answered.
  42.
  43. "I see your point." I said. "Staying at your place would be great, thank you."
  44.
  45. As we walked out of the plaza to Amy's house, she filled me in on island life. She was a part of a team that tried to keep peace on the island, always fighting an evil scientist called Dr. Eggman. I had heard of him in the past, but I had no idea he lived way out on a remote island. After she mentioned him, I guessed that a certain speedy blue animal also lived around here, and I was correct: Sonic the Hedgehog also called this island home.
  46.
  47. Since I knew who Sonic and Eggman were, I briefly wondered why I had never heard of Amy or any of Sonic's other friends; I thought it best to not bring it up and risk offending her. A world-renown hero is probably going to spread more than the members of his team. As Amy talked about Sonic, she told me almost everything about him--the times he had saved the island, how great he was to his friends, how much Eggman hated him, things that I had heard about him many times before. The only fact that geniunely surprised me was that I didn't know his arms were blue. I had always heard different, but I couldn't figure out why Amy bothered to bring it up at all.
  48.
  49. When we finally reached Amy's impressively large, pink house (or should I say hut,) she quickly ushered me inside and closed the door behind us. As soon as we stepped inside, I heard the crash of thunder and heavy rain not moments after. I was grateful that we had arrived just in time, but this meant I couldn't see the rest of the island until the weather calmed down. I sat down on the couch and Amy sat next to me, smiling.
  50.
  51. "We could play a game." She suggested. "Do you play Fuzzy Puppy Buddies?"
  52.
  53. "I've never heard of it." I replied. "Sounds ... interesting."
  54.
  55. "Oh, you don't know the half of it!" Amy exclaimed, excited. She stood from the couch and walked over to a closet, digging around inside. I took the chance to glance at her; those purple stockings of hers led my vision up that body, and I didn't want to ever look away. Her ass wiggled as she moved inside the closet, which hypnotized me into staring the entire time she looked away from me, taking an eyeful of her white panties with a small hole near the top to allow her, short, pointed pink tail to be free. I'd love to just forget her game and walk over to grab a handful of that pink rump, but I didn't want to meet the business end of that hammer of hers.
  56.
  57. After a few more minutes of searching, Amy sighed and closed the closet door. I quickly turned away, looking straight in front of me.
  58.
  59. "I couldn't find it." Amy said, returning to sit next to me. "Do you have any ideas?"
  60.
  61. My idea is fondling those tits that your dress is so rudely hiding from me, but I can't say that out loud.
  62.
  63. "You just said all of that out loud." Amy said.
  64.
  65. ... Shit.
  66.
  67. She raised an eyebrow, looking at me with an annoyed expression. "You just met me, I invited you into my home, and you want to fondle me?" She asked. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't turn you into a new frisbee." She reached out for her hammer leaned against the wall.
  68.
  69. "I'm sorry, I ... uh ..." I paused, trying my best to come up with the world's fastest excuse, no matter how lame it was. "That's ... how we say hello where I'm from?" I gave her the best innocent smile. Amy shook her head and sighed.
  70.
  71. "Fine, I'll buy that." Amy replied after a long, awkward pause. "You seem geniunely sorry ... sorry that you got caught, anyway. Just watch your outer-monologue next time, grabby-hands." She reached for a TV remote on a table in front of the couch and leaned back, getting comfortable before turning the TV on. I have no idea how I failed to notice a television mounted on the wall next to me, but anything to break this incredibly tense air that totally wasn't my fault.
  72.
  73. "You have TV way out here? Cool." I made myself comfortable as well; the couch was surprisingly soft for something on an island. Amy's living room was more expensive-looking than anything I had; her couch was long, pink, and plush, and I could see the kitchen through a doorway--she had a mini fridge on the counter. I was totally jealous of her place compared to my shitty apartment back in "civilization."
  74.
  75. "We're not deserted out here." Amy replied, flipping through channels. "You think a refined lady like myself would live in a mud hut with everything made out of coconuts?"
  76.
  77. "Uh, I guess not." I shrugged. "What kind of stuff is on TV on an island?"
  78.
  79. "Don't get your hopes up, we're not watching porn." Amy replied without so much as a pause. "Here, enjoy Comedy Chimp ... somebody has to." She sat the remote back on the table. I watched as a large chimp in a suit interviewed different animals. He sat behind a desk, not unlike talk shows back home, while cracking somewhat lame jokes after every question he asked.
  80.
  81. "Would it make you feel better if I said this is hilarious?" I asked as she reached for the remote again. "Honestly, I'm getting kind of tired. Sorry if I fall asleep here." I mumbled.
  82.
  83. "It's okay, I'm sure you've had a very long day." Amy said. "Just close your eyes and relax. I'll wake you up tomorrow morning and introduce you to my friends."
  84.
  85. I smiled and nodded in agreement, feeling my eyelids become heavy as I soon fell fast asleep.
  86.
  87. I had no idea how long I was out, but a strange feeling woke me up during the night: it felt as if something very soft and wet was rubbing across my skin. I slowly opened my eyes, seeing Amy standing in front of me with a crazed look in her eyes, smiling at me. She held a paint brush in one hand and a bucket of blue paint in the other. She had a mirror on the table, and I instantly regretted looking into it: my face was half-painted blue, with a little black dot on my nose. If memory served, she had made me look like Sonic.
  88.
  89. Wait--why the fuck did she paint me like Sonic?!
  90.
  91. "I can explain!" Amy tossed the paint and brush away, giving me her best smile and losing her crazy expression, now looking nervous. "I ... uh ..." Amy's bottom lip quivered as she looked around, as if trying to decide whether to talk to me or kill me. She took a deep breath and reached for me, putting her hands on my shoulders and leaning in close to me, forcing me into a deep, surprising kiss. My eyes widened when I felt her lips press against mine, but I didn't fight it--I wanted it anyway. When she pulled away to catch her breath, I looked into her eyes--she wasn't getting away with it with just a kiss.
  92.
  93. "I'm waiting." I reminded her. "Why do I look like a Sonic-obsessed fanboy? Am I my own original character now?"
  94.
  95. "You said you wanted to fondle me, which obviously meant you're attracted to me ..." Amy began. "I figured since you already liked me, you wouldn't mind if I did something that would help me like you, and ... and well, I didn't think you'd wake up. You're not supposed to be awake now!" Amy blurted out that last bit, as if it was my fault that I interrupted her creepy paint ritual.
  96.
  97. "It's kind of insulting that you have to paint me to like me, for one thing," I said, trying to calm down and pretend this was normal. Maybe it was normal for her. "Anyway, may I have a towel? This paint's starting to dry and it feels gross."
  98.
  99. "No, not yet." Amy replied, looking into my eyes. "You wanted this, right?"
  100.
  101. "Well, without being blue, sure." I said with a nod. "Are you coming on to me now?"
  102.
  103. "Don't worry, I won't pretend you're someone else." Amy replied. "I mean, if I squint, you're pretty cute for a ... what is it again? Human?" I raised an eyebrow at this.
  104.
  105. "You deal with one of 'me' every day, remember? Eggman?" I asked. Amy blinked in realization, blushing in embarassment. "You're really bad at acting innocent now."
  106.
  107. "J-Just shut up." Amy said. She reached for her dress, grabbing the buttoned side and giving it a firm yank. I could hear the buttons rapidly unsnap as her chest was revealed to me--her breasts were quite big for her stature, with the fur covering them and her stomach being the same flesh color as her arms. Her pink nipples were easy to see through her fur--they were already hard. I stared at her tits for a moment before looking up at her. "This is what you wanted, right?" She asked, still looking frantic from being caught. "Are we even now?"
