  1. Garlock-Anon's Stand
  2.
  3. ====================================================================================================================================
  4.
  5. ("Oh right. Uh-it's about having overcome addiction, being trapped in a cycle you want to escape and starting fresh. Like say-going from IRL into the Jumpchain. Or for that matter my 180 turns into the Anti-Spiral, and then back again. Punctuated by lots of striving and a general sense of a journey" - Spiral) (Hopefully having what the song means to Spiral will help a bit.)
  6.
  7. Special thanks to Nu for designing the Stand's baseline abilities
  8.

  18.
  19. -Appearance: Just as the Stand user is dead inside, Snow is otherworldly and morbid. Snow is about half again the mass of the Stand user, and engulfed with (initially) emerald and white flames which also predominate Another Perfect Wonder before other emotions introduce more colours. The Stand itself resembles a thin, lanky skeleton but with otherworldly features such as a matte black metallic surface, a much larger and extendable pair of secondary hands sprouting from its shoulders as well as iron thorns and its torso is reshaped into the image of a secondary face. The Stand's extremities and torso are covered with golden, crystalline yellow eyes and its joints seem reminiscent of machines rather than human joints.
  20.
  21. Apart from these distinctive features, the Stand otherwise resembles a metallic human skeleton. However the skeleton will reshape itself to amalgamate the skeletons of any alt forms the Stand user may acquire in his journeys, until the Stand resembles a rather inhuman skeleton. Nevertheless, the Stand's expression is locked into fierce scowl, and in combat despite lacking facial expressions per se it seems to take on an aspect of loathing and feral hate, as if it were a predator tearing out the throat of newborn prey.
  22.
  23. Snow's last distinctive feature is a miniaturised planetoid which rests overs over a groove upon its head. It is utterly desolate, lifeless and grey.
  24.
  25. -Abilities-
  26.
  27. So White As Snow: Snow has the ability to create a large area where it will slowly start to snow, which follows the Stand user around wherever he may walk. The snowfall is indefinite and at the rate of snowfall in Los Angeles in the dead of winter; this rate can be increased until it is akin to a fierce blizzard whenever the Stand user is actively exercising their willpower in pitched battle (a battle they are certain to win or in which they do act with the most direct means of combat will not provoke their willpower to the degree needed to increase the level of snowfall) or a similar level of emotion/concentration, which also causes the snowfall to drown out other spiritual effects (this resistance is dependant on the durability of the users' Stands, or fighting spirits in settings without Stands). Its area of effect extends to anywhere between the area of a football field to 10 square miles; any further extensions will require the Stand user to focus on a complex technique involving the Stand combining Hamon and the Spin, which will extend the area effected by snowfall. This snow is pure white and the individual snow flakes refract light exceptionally well, causing light to dance and bounce around. This transforms almost anywhere this ability is used into a beautiful winter wonderland. When under water or otherwise in a location in which gravity does not behave as on land, the ability manifests instead as a brinicle/vortex-like swirl of the snow which freezes nearby liquids or creates a swirling translucent bubble of fog which transmits the snow's psychological effects as well as rapidly creating snow on any physical/spiritual mass it comes into contact with exponentially faster than the snow would manifest from snowfall.
  28. The snow will stick and cling to everything, slowly covering everything in soft, slippery white powder. Walking around doesn't seem to leave tracks either, meaning it will stay pristine and untarnished. As beautiful as the snow might be, you must leave immediately if you find yourself caught in it. The snow covers more than just the landscape. Anything that has the capacity to think will slowly find their thoughts slowing. Golems, machines and other artificial constructs run the risk of the snow collecting and jamming in mechanisms; although it is treated as mundane snow while falling, once it has landed on a physical or spiritual surface it does not melt from mundane sources of heat and cannot be destroyed with kinetic force alone.
  29. The snow causes those it clings too to become confused, making it harder for them to figure out a way to leave or think as they just literally and metaphorically wander in circles. Those caught by this ability will become introspective, becoming just as lost in their memories as they are in the snow. Depending on the entity's memories, this can be a blissful lotus eater like experience or a hellish trauma as past grievances are revisited. Many will eventually slow to a stop, all but the most powerful wills unable to escape, falling to the ground while retreating even further inwards. Just like the landscape around them, they too will eventually get covered in beautiful white snow. As a spiritual enzyme, the snow also transmits and greatly enhances any abilities of the user which involve the user's spiritual state of being being impressed on the physical world.
  30. It isn't impossible to escape, but it does take exception will, resolve and/or motivation, or some form of outside assistance. After leaving, the minds of those who got lost inside will remain foggy for a while. The biggest weakness of this ability is that as long as the snow doesn't touch the enemy, their mind won't start to slip away. Basically, umbrellas or rapid speed/air manipulation to create a shield against the snow while it is still falling.
  31.
  32. All My Life To Sacrifice: Ordinarily, the snow produced by the primary ability resists being moved once it has settled, not exactly hardening yet resisting change all the same. This is why tracks (normally) aren't left behind when walking over it, and why it seems to cling to everything. Snow, on the other hand, has the ability to move it with no effort at all, as if it was completely normal snow. He extends this ability to the Stand-User.
  33. With this, the Stand-User is able to both shrug off the snow and Another Perfect Wonder's effects, and save others that were unintentionally caught up in the ability; certain techniques involving the Spin can grant prolonged, temporary immunity. It goes further than that though, as Snow's "All My Life To Sacrifice" ability has the power to clear away a variety of obstructions or burdens, physical or mental.
  34. Several examples of this would be removing the burden of addiction from someone, or the trauma caused by some horrible past experience that stops a person from being able to do "normal" things. While the scope of what Snow is able to remove is actually quite broad, it must be still be a full on "burden" and can't just be any old problem or injury-however, by harnessing Hamon Helping Hand can rapidly and perfectly heal physical faults which directly contribute to a "burden" and imbue the patient with an indomitable sense of purpose lasting a few hours; through careful experimentation the Stand user may extend this healing factor's duration as well as imbue it with strong addictive properties. Additionally, while it removes the things that stop a person from getting better, they'll have to take over from there.
  35. This ability to freely manipulate the snow allows Snow and the Stand-User to move it physically, as well as with the Spin and Hamon. Due to the condensing and the "hard when settled" nature of this snow makes it a surprisingly effective weapon. The fact that it "clings" also makes this an effective way to debilitate enemies that came prepared for the first ability.
  36.
  37. Another Perfect Wonder: Snow is able to summon a special aurora inside of his "So White As Snow" zone-it cannot exist beyond a boundary where So White As Snow covers 90% of all surfaces. This appears to be the same as a normal aurora, a dancing ribbon of colors in the sky. Based on their proximity to victims who are starting to become lost in the snow, the Aurora is able to pick up on the memories that are starting to appear at the forefront of their minds. The manifestations of the aurora are incredibly versatile, from bathing the Stand user in an aura to raining down from the heavens to behaving as a regular aurora at ground level, but always are predominated by translucent straight lines running through the aurora.
  38. From there, the Aurora is able to reproduce parts of these memories. Sounds, smells, even visions will start to dance over sections of the ribbon closest to the victim. The more they perceive or record the lights in the aurora, the more clear these records become, driving those underneath even further into their own mind.
  39. Snow is also able to weaponize this ability, converting pieces of the aurora into either straight or circular beams of hardlight and projecting them down into targets; apart from these limitations, manifestations of the aurora are limited only by the Stand user's imagination. Oddly enough, the less light that's used, the more powerful its effect becomes. Basically, Snow can drop the entire aurora on an area to ensure a hit/diffuse it through the entire sky such that all must seek shelter or be dazzled by it, but it wouldn't be nearly as powerful as a precision strike with a single thin bar. The single thin bar is obviously easier to dodge though. Victims of the snow struck by one of the Aurora Rods are forcefully "pushed" deeper inside their mind. Inorganic/electronic systems instead are jammed and frozen, their data completely preserved but their operating systems increasingly stuck displaying a certain amount of information. However, the primary effect of Another Perfect Wonder is that it depletes kinetic energy from its targets on a submolecular level, enabling it to freeze people mid-stride when fully concentrated or stop bullets in their tracks by generating a barrier of aurora bars in front of the Stand user. The aurora may also be used to manipulate the snow, whether to raise it up in banks, channel it through a breeze or rotate and fire it as snowballs, applying a maximum of 10 newtons of force to the snow. The user may freely toggle the acceleration and deceleration of the beams. It should be noted that before manipulating projectiles the aurora alone is almost intangible, and that due to its similar properties Another Perfect Wonder can be perfectly deflected by reflective surfaces.
  40. Sentient targets which have fully succumbed to As White As Snow's effects which are slain by the aurora have their souls transmuted into more aurora which can increase the Stand user's reserves of aurora to be deployed. The aurora can only exist within snowfall or other areas of effected created by So White As Snow.
  41.
  42. Super Strength: Though nowhere near as exciting as the last three abilities, Snow is incredibly strong. Chucking cars and busting down walls is no problem for this Stand.
  43.
  44. Super Durability/Speed (post-development): Centuries of constant use and exercise of the Stand has greatly improved its accuracy and ability to tank damage via development. The Stand can easily tank building-sized projectiles and move fast enough to confuse opponents with afterimages.
  45.
  46. Awakened Ability: Step from the road to the sea to the sky
  47. This ability enhances the territory created by So White as Snow. Not only will it expand indefinitely unless ordered to stop by the Stand user at the rate of doubling every month, but land itself becomes a sort of genius locii which can form in non-euclidean shapes and warp the space of any structure So White As Snow completely covers to make one's stay within the Stand's territory far, far more treacherous. Examples of space warping include causing corridors to loop recursively, changing the distance needed to exit and enter one's front door by miles, causing gravity to reverse in certain parts of land and creating spatial anomalies which can be entered but not exited; all these require Another Perfect Wonder to carve out and the time taken will depend on the spatial distortion's complexity. All natural sources of light save those created or owned by the Stand user or touched by All My Life To Sacrifice disappear within the Stand. Worse, Another Perfect Wonder gains the ability to extract sentient hallucinations and constructs based on emotionally important memories of the victims within; beneath whatever humanoid or artificial surface these constructs are invariably squamous biomechanical horrors with a similar composition and capability to Stands (their stats are just as variably and randomly assigned upon generation), freely commanded by the Stand user but default to entrapping their specific target in a static paradise. The greater the concentration of Another Perfect Wonder, the more durable and complex these constructs are; with concentrated aurora entire landscapes can be made permanent within the territory. They can range in size from anything from a ghostly virus if the disease was important in someone's upbringing, to old lovers with vicious thorned tentacles hidden under their clothes to illusory homes which can devour interlopers. The constructs have all properties of the original objects they imitate, but cannot exist outside of So White As Snow. All My Life To Sacrifice also gains some secondary utilities: The Stand user may extract emotions/memories and condense them into a corporeal form for later usage somewhere else, scry through the senses of anyone they've affected with All My Life To Sacrifice, gain intellectus over the snowfield they created and at will conjure a fog extending 20 meters around themselves which GREATLY accelerates all effects So White As Snow around them as well as obscuring themself; this induces an ecstasy of complacent bliss as well as flash-freezing targets with a covering of So White As Snow.
  48.
  49. Requiem Ability: (Chosen)
  50. The Stand ceases to be a typical punchghost, and instead insubstantiates into the Spin and Hamon channeled by the user:
  51. -Instead of relying on a throwing pattern the Stand may freely set the vectors of Hamon wielded by this Stand. The breadth and depth of the Stand's control will increase over time. This affords inhumanly precise control over the velocity, trajectory, mass and spread of the emitted Hamon.
  52. -The Stand can freely fuse the Spin and Hamon's aspects on a conceptual level, freely using traits from one to affect traits at a proportionate degree in another.
