SA-9: The Beast

>Day 72 hours remain in Equestria.
>You are Fluttershy, Princess of Kindness and um…that’s probably it.
>You don’t really care for titles.
>Rainbow set up a meeting that you are currently attending.
>Right now Rainbow is complaining to Rarity.
>”What gives Rarity? I had set up an awesome scene so Anon would totally fall for me and he flat out rejected me.”
>”My plan takes time, and I’m afraid you have to be patient. It’s not easy chipping away at Anon’s mind. His desire to hold on to his antiquated morals is strong, and I just can’t put my crystals everywhere. He’ll notice them immediately.”
>Rainbow groans before her ears perks up. Usually a sign she has an idea.
>”Wait, Twilight. Your magic is way stronger than Rarity’s. Why don’t you try and speed things up?”
>Twilight’s ears fold back as she bites her lips.
>”Well that’s the problem; I’m too strong for this. Rarity is much more precise with her magic and that’s exactly what we need for this to work. I might hurt him so bad he becomes a wraith.”
>”A what now?”
“A spirit like windigoes.”
>The others ‘oh’ with understanding.

>”When I talked to him yesterday he got mighty mad at me for questioning him, it’s one thing to listen to his harmonious voice speaking normally.”
>We all nod in agreement.
>“But when he gets mad it just sends a shiver down my spine.”
>”I talked to him after you drop him off Applejack. He values his lost ‘humanity’ above all things.”
“I never thought I would meet somep0ny that would prefer loneliness for company. It makes me sad.”
>Pinkie pats you on the head.
>”Aw, don’t worry silly filly. Anon’s heart is like a tart jawbreaker; it’s surrounded by a wall of sour armor, but inside is a sweet treat totally worth it. Though turning him into a winged anon has made his heart a little harder.”
>”Don’t worry darling, the pay off in the end will make all this worth it.”
>”Just wish it wouldn’t take so long.”
>Oh Rainbow, it’s always a competition with you.
>You all talk a little bit more before you all leave.
>Applejack approaches you as you head out the door.
>”Hey Sugarcube, mind if Ah take over seeing Anon today? I want to talk to him about yesterday.”
“Well ok, but today is maid fetish day. You have to wear the outfit.”
>Applejack fidgets a bit as her wings scratch the back of her head.
>”Do I have to do all that now?”
“If you want you can wear a companion outfit to match your…um…style. If you want.”
>”Relax Shy, I know you ain’t implying anything. I think I’ll try that out.”

>You make few modifications to the outfit.
>Applejack has more bump to her rump so that was altered drastically.
>Overall, not a bad idea.
>She’ll cover for you in a very sensual outfit and you can work.
>She might even get lucky.
>That brings a smile to your face.
>If Anon is finally happy you can be happy.
>Even if a tinny winny piece inside you wants you to be the first to catch him.

>You are Rarity, Princess of Generosity and Clairvoyance.
>You just left Twilight’s place after the meeting.
>Rainbow was having a bit of a conniption over her fail attempt at Anon.
>Silly mare, Anon is not going to fall for foalish games.
“Well, might as well check in on him before I go about my day. Let’s see what dear Fluttershy has cooked up today to fluster Anon.”
>Her antics never fail to bring a smile to your face.
>You teleport to the crystal room in your diamond castle and wait for her to arrive at Anon’s home.
>After a few moments Applejack shows up.
>She wearing a rather risqué outfit.
>You take out some popcorn for this.
>Applejack politely knocks on the door.
>You look over to the other crystal monitors.
>You don’t see Anon so he must be somewhere else in the house.
>Applejack gets tired of waiting and just teleports inside.
>”Anon? Ya here?

>Anon’s house is silent.
>You look at all the monitors; he is not at any of the other’s homes or yours.
>He’s in his house somewhere.
“Where are you?”
>Applejack looks around the living room for the human.
>”Discord sure did a number on your place. So many stairs goin’ in every direction. Anon, where are you at?”
>A whole lot of nothing answers her back.
>AJ sighs to herself.
>”He’s either in the bathroom, again, or he’s eaten something.”
>You watch Applejack walk down the hallway towards the kitchen.
>Movement catches the corner of your eye on the monitor in the living room.
>You quickly investigate only to find your crystal is sending you static.
“It broke? That’s never happened before.”
>You divert your attention to the crystal that was watching the hallway as it turns to static.
>Is something following Applejack?
>Applejack is a little frustrated as she looks around Anon’s kitchen.
>”Gosh darn it. Is he sleeping in late? I know a good way to wake his lazy hide up.”
>As you watch AJ leave the kitchen the feed becomes static.
“Applejack, don’t you hear something behind you?”
>You decide right then and there it was time for action.

>You are going to confront the problem.
>Your horn glows for a moment before it sputters out.
“W-what!?”
>You turn around and you see red crystals growing at an alarming rate.
“Magic suppressors? I never planted these.”
>Chilling laughter echoes in the room.
>You recognize it.
“Sombra!?”
>You don’t see him, but that doesn’t change that you need to get out.
>Can’t teleport and your connection to your crystals are gone.
>You pour more power into your horn and the best you can do is call somep0ny close by, but it will leave you exhausted.
>You look at Applejack wondering around in Anon’s house.
“Rainbow, can you hear me?”
>You hear a very hazy answer ‘what?’ back.
“Applejack is in trouble over at Anon’s ho—“
>You collapse from magical exhaustion.
>That is not good.
>You gather enough strength to pick yourself up and watch your friend roam Anon’s house.
>Static follows Applejack from hallway to rooms.
“It’s going to be ok. Applejack is a brute fighter and can simply buck her way out of problems. Magic suppressors won’t stop her.”
>Applejack is finally in front of Anon’s bedroom door.
>Your eyes quickly flick over to the crystal rose that Anon should have brought into his room.

>Well the rose is in his room, but it is dark.
>You can’t make out anything in his room.
>Applejack opens the door.
>Now the only crystal that is working around AJ is the rose.
>”Anon are you still asleep? Guess this means I get to have some fun waking you up this mornin’.”
>At the angle you are looking at, Applejack is standing right next to the rose allowing you to look up at her.
>The door is fuzzy.
>Something is now standing in the doorway.
“Applejack! APPLEJACK!”
>It reaches for her.
>Static.
“No, no, no, no, no!”
>Rainbow Dash’s door is broken down as said mare bucks her way into Anon’s house.
“That crystal still works. Hurry and go help her!”
>Rainbow flies off screen leaving you with only the sound from that crystal.
>It is very quiet.
>You are breathing hard right now.
>”What the buck!!!”
>You hear crashing noises as your last crystal starts to wobble.
>It’s quiet again.
>”Such lovely, crystalsss.”
>You jerk your head behind you as Sombra rises from a dark fog.
“You! How dare you enter in my home and corrupt my jewels. What have you done to my friends?”
>If he gets any closer you would deck him.
>”My dear, I haven’t done anything.”
>You know his type, power hungry and ego driven monsters.
“What are you planning? What do you want from me?”
>”To expand my empire of course, but you already know that. You magic is very becoming to my eye. Would you join me at my side?”

>You knew it, all megalomaniac villains function the same way.
>Just say yes and get to work undoing his plans.
>”Well that’s what I would say under normal circumstances.”
>Oh no.
>”My servant will take from you what I need and well…I may come back later to make you a concubine.”
“If you think I will allow any more of this treachery to continue you are sadly mistaken. These crystals block your magic as well.”
>”Hmm, yes that is true. My servant however does not have this problem. Buenos Noches, Senorita.”
>But it’s morning…
>Sombra vanishes and the lights go out.
>Only a single watch crystal is left on.
>It’s the one that overlooks the door to your room.
>A shadow drapes across the door and the screen turns to static.
>That room is just next to the one you are in.
>You need to prepare.
>Maybe use one of these crystals as a weapon.
>Out of time. The door opens up with a creaking sound.
>You look to see who it is.
>It looks like Anon in the suit you made him yesterday.
>You blink in surprise.
>The moment you open your eyes he’s upon you.
>You try to scream out, but something ice cold grips your throat.
>His face is gone.

>Day 48 hours remain in Equestria.
>You are Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Magic.
>After spending most of yesterday pouring over Anon’s data from the test, you decided maybe it’s time for a break.
>Read a few hundred books before lunch.
>”Hey Twilight!? Where are you?”
“I’m up here Spike, on the 69th floor.”
>”You got a letter from the Princess.”
“…”
>Sometimes Spike tends to leave out important details.
“Which one Spike?”
>”Oh right, Celestia!”
>You teleport in front of Spike and grab the letter.
“Letter, for me?”
>You quickly read it in about .36664289109 milliseconds.
>You had to triple check what you just read.
“Spike call the others, Luna has gone missing.”
>A few moments later, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are sitting in your tree castle.
“Where are the others?”
>”Well, Applejack took over for me yesterday with a fetish and maybe she got lucky with Anon.”
>”And Rainbow Dash might be allllllllll the way on the other side of the Universe.”
“You’re probably right Pinkie. So has anyp0ny seen Rarity then?”
>They all shrug.
“Great, Luna has gone missing and we are down half of the team.”

>”Luna has gone missing? Did they check the moon?”
“Fluttershy only a few ponies are capable of going to the moon.”
>”I’ll get the bananas!”
>Pinkie please stop hurting my brain.
>”Sorry Twilight, couldn’t resist.”
“And stop reading my mind.”
>”I was reading the line above me.”
>You face hoof hard enough to move mountains.
“Fine, Pinkie can you go find Rainbow and tell her what’s going on? Fluttershy go to Anon’s house.”
>Fluttershy cheers with a happy ‘yay’.
“I’ll go to the moon as see if she’s up there.”
>Your friends leave and you prepare to head to the moon.
“Now remember Spike when I come back I want the entire library reorganized by the third letter on the sixth paragraph in the fifth chapter in every book when I come back.”
>Spike looks up the infinite library.
>”You can’t be serious.”
“Fine, just make breakfast.”
>You create a door portal to the moon.
>You should really go to the moon more often, it’s so beautiful here.
>You can take Anon up here and rut under the stars.
>Focus Twilight, look around to see if Luna’s here.
>There is a large dark crystal formation that towers close by.
>Where did come from?
>It’s crimson and opaque.
“No problem.”
>Your horn glows as your vision starts to see through it.
>Inside is a petrified Luna.
>You gasp as you quickly shoot out a beam and destroy the crystal.

>Luna lies on the ground; her groans tell you that she barely has any energy to stay conscious.
>She has gashes all over her body, what could have attacked her that stops her healing abilities?
“Luna, what happened!? Oh, this isn’t good. Not good, not good, not good.”
>”Twili*cough*ght, calm down. Take me to my sister. Tis a monster that did this to us.”
“Monster? From where?”
>”Anon’s house.”
>You practically freeze from the shock.
“I just sent Fluttershy to his house!”
>Luna’s eyes shrink to pinpoints.
>”Hurry Twilight, I know not if the creature still roams his home.”
>You teleport Luna to Canterlot and run towards the door Anon has that connects his home to the moon.
>The door is barricaded with black crystals. It makes you uneasy.
>They pulsate with power and seem to slightly repel magic.
>”Twilight!”
“AH! Pinkie don’t scare me like that!”
>”I can’t find Rainbow anywhere. She’s usually really easy to find.”
>You quickly fill her in on what’s going on.
>”I’ll go through the door, you see if you can catch Fluttershy at her cottage”
“The door has anti-magic properties, I think only I could go through it, but it would waste a lot of energy.”
>”Silly filly, doors have never kept me out. They’re more like suggestions.”
“There might be a monster in the house, one that defeated Luna. Are you sure this is a good idea?”
>Pinkie pats you on the head and gives you a lollipop.
>”Don’t worry about Aunt Pinkie. If I find a monster I’ll just mess with it for a bit.”
>Right when it really comes down to it, Pinkie can bend reality to help her escape.
“All right, please be careful.”

>Fluttershy’s cottage.
>The animals wave at you as you walk around her home.
“Excuse me; do you know if Fluttershy is home?”
>The little mouse shakes his head no.
>That means she already left for Anon’s place.
>You get ready to teleport to his house when you hear frantic cries and a door slam.
>You run around back to see a very frightened Fluttershy holding her shed door in place.
“Fluttershy, are you alright!?”
>”Twilight, stay out of my shed!”
“Did you find the monster?”
>”I-i-i-it was in Anon’s house and it chased me to my shed.”
>The door creaks as something starts to push on it.
>Despite Fluttershy’s attempts to barricade the door it still budges.
>You help her out with your magic.
“Did you see what the creature looked like?”
>”I didn’t get a good look at it, but it was wearing a suit like Anon does.
>This has got to stop now.
>You horn glows bright as you grit your teeth.
“Fluttershy when I give the signal open the door. I’ll take care of it.
>She nodes; three seconds pass and the door is thrown open.
>Nothing there.
>You hesitate to investigate.
“We should probably call for help. Whatever is in there is strong enough to hurt Luna.”
>Fluttershy gulps as she closes the door.
>New plan had back to the library and call for Celestia.

>You are back in your library.
>Spike is not here.
>Breakfast is now a cold meal on the table.
>A note on the table tells you that he is currently out looking for you.
>It’s ok; you can still call for help.
>Fluttershy is with you right now and she still is jumping at shadows.
>Well more so then usual.
“All right I sent a letter to the princess telling her what is going on.”
>”We should get ready.”
>You can’t see Fluttershy’s eyes through her mane, but her anger is starting to build.
>A flutterrage is not the best thing at the moment.
>You were about to calm her down until you hear Pinkie laughing in your laboratory.
“Pinkie!”
>You quickly open the floor leading to your lab and rush down.
>Something familiar is waiting for you in the white room.
>”Well Princess of Magic, so glad you can join us.”
“Sombra. How are you even alive?”
>Your horn starts to glow as you prepare for the worst.
>”Well you know, necromancy and the like, but that’s not important right now. I need Luxuria and Ira from you and the Princess of Kindness.”
>Those names sound familiar.
>”Is the monster in Anon’s house yours!?”
>Fluttershy is growling is enough to scare a dragon right now.
>”Monster? No of course not, that is no monster.”

>A crystal formation spouts next to Sombra and forms into a door.
>”In fact, I’m sure he would be hurt if you told him that, if he could hear you.”
>The door opens up to reveal a tall sender creature in one of Anon’s suits.
>The lack of detail on it is unsettling. No eyes, ears, mouth, hair, or skin.
>It seems to melt into the floor at the base of itself and seems to have no appendages.
>”Twilight, I think that is Anon!”
>WHAT!?
“WHAT!!!”
>”Very perspective of you Kindness, yes this is your dear Anon…was anyway. He was floundering around doing nothing so I took him and molded him. Ladies may I introduce to you, Acedia.”
>Ya, time to stop talking to tyrants.
>You’ve heard enough.
>Your horn quickly cranks up the illumination as you fire a beam of high-energy magic.
>Sombra melts into the floor as…Anon simply stands there.
>A bright explosion erupts from your attack.
>Dust and smoke is everywhere as Fluttershy suddenly dashes in much to your surprise.
>Sombra rises from the floor again and his face quickly twists to shock as Fluttershy is about to catch him.
>”YOU DO NOT HURT MY FRIENDS OR MY LOVER!”
>Filly is very mad.
>Just then a shadow bolts over and knocks her out of the air.
>It looks like a shade of Rainbow Dash.
>A shade of Applejack appears and wraps her up in rope.
>Finally a shade of Rarity ties her up in knots.
“Fluttershy, I’m coming.”
>Multiple hands start to cover your line of sight.
>When did Anon reach you? He was on the opposite side of the room.
>You remember Anon can travel through space quickly.
>Twist.
>Crack.
>You remember no more.

>I’m sorry you didn’t get to be Anon.
>Well let’s fix that.
>You are now Anon.
