  4. [2014-09-24 21:02:55]<EchoesOfDeath> It is night. The silence is only broken by the distant but ever-present groans of the infected. Cambiance and Swift_Hurddle watch as Star_Spotter and Backlash meet the squad of ponies on the street. Though they work in sync, watching out for threats even now, they all seem to be from different groups.

  6. [2014-09-24 21:07:18]* Swift_Hurddle watches and tries to figure out whats going on. "Whats going on?"
  7. [2014-09-24 21:08:12]* Cambiance frowns. "I'm not sure. I just hope they're friendly... And that you don't jump off the building."
  8. [2014-09-24 21:10:32]* Swift_Hurddle rolls eyes, "I got caught up in the moment"
  9. [2014-09-24 21:13:00]* Cambiance grins. "And you almost got smeared on the pavement for it. I'm just teasing you."
  10. [2014-09-24 21:15:18]* Swift_Hurddle pouts and keeps watching
  11. [2014-09-24 21:16:49]<EchoesOfDeath> Leading them is a tall light blue unicorn stallion in a suit and hat, he has a revolver holstered. By his side a grey mare on a bulletproof police vest wields a shotgun, ready for any threat to their right. A strong mauve unicorn stallion in dented royal armor has his lance pointed to the right, and a light yellow pegasus in security uniform flies just over them holding a baton, keeping his eyes above and to the back

  15. [2014-09-24 21:19:11]* Swift_Hurddle nod nods, "Has me a bit high strung, do we know who these ponies are?"
  16. [2014-09-24 21:20:21]<Cambiance> "From what I heard, they appear to be bits of the different levels of the guard. You know, like local level, royal level. So, in theory, they're trustworthy, but they make me... nervous."
  17. [2014-09-24 21:21:38]* Swift_Hurddle looks closer at them, "Oh, well then ya... whats the problem, I heard a gunshot I thought?"
  18. [2014-09-24 21:23:46]<Cambiance> "That was Miss Star I believe. She got charged by an infected."
  19. [2014-09-24 21:28:00]* Swift_Hurddle breaths a sigh of releife, "Oh, good"
  20. [2014-09-24 21:32:29]* Swift_Hurddle stretches a bit, "Was worried for a while there... so things are going well inside"
  21. [2014-09-24 21:33:48]<Cambiance> "That's good. Everything was going pretty well out here until Miss Star shot her gun. I was coming back from eavesdropping on them when my cover was blown."
  22. [2014-09-24 21:34:07]* Swift_Hurddle smiles, "Oh nice! you must have all the dirt then, dish!"
  23. [2014-09-24 21:36:02]<Cambiance> "Like I said, they seem to be part of the guard, and they were talking like they were searching for something out here. They expressed an interest in Miss Star when they saw how she dealt with those infected. They also... seemed to imply that the Princesses were... missing."
  24. [2014-09-24 21:39:12]* Swift_Hurddle shouts, "Missing!?!"
  25. [2014-09-24 21:40:19]<EchoesOfDeath> You hear a gasp from behind the roof door
  26. [2014-09-24 21:40:45]* Cambiance grimaces. "Don't yell about it. This is why I wasn't sure if I should share that part. Why I'm still not. It might cause... panic."
  27. [2014-09-24 21:44:20]* Cambiance turns towards the gasp.
  28. [2014-09-24 21:45:22]* Swift_Hurddle covers his mouth, "Oops!". Rolling over he looks towards the door, "Rosebee?"
  29. [2014-09-24 21:49:18]<EchoesOfDeath> Cambiance spots Raven peeking from behind the door
  30. [2014-09-24 21:51:31]* Cambiance walks towards Raven. "Raven... You can't tell anypony about this. Not until Swift and I are certain it won't cause a panic. And the guards may be wrong. Or I may have misheard them."
  31. [2014-09-24 21:54:36]* Swift_Hurddle nods
  32. [2014-09-24 21:55:42]<EchoesOfDeath> "I... understand." Raven says, turning back inside.
  33. [2014-09-24 21:57:36]<EchoesOfDeath> Not a moment later Rosebee appears along with her heading to the roof door. "Was that about teacher? Is she okay"
  34. [2014-09-24 21:58:47]* Cambiance takes a deep breath. "Yes she is Rosebee. She's just meeting with the guards we found."
  35. [2014-09-24 21:59:28]* Swift_Hurddle looks over the roof again, "she seems ok, they are talking"
  36. [2014-09-24 22:00:06]<Cambiance> "That's certainty better than shooting."
  37. [2014-09-24 22:02:30]* Swift_Hurddle nods in agreement, "Isnt that the truth, now if only we can get those monsters out there to talk things out"
  38. [2014-09-24 22:03:11]<EchoesOfDeath> "I hope it goes well..." Rosebee peeks at the street
  39. [2014-09-24 22:03:57]* Cambiance smiles. "That definitely would make things a lot easier. If only. And I'm sure it will Rosebee. Miss Star has proven herself to be a very competent mare. I'm not worried"
  40. [2014-09-24 22:07:03]* Swift_Hurddle nods, "Want to sit with us?"
  41. [2014-09-24 22:08:11]<Cambiance> "Yeah. We can take a moment to relax while the adults deal with the guards. ... Heh, adults. Sometimes, it's hard to believe we were just students and stuff before this all happened... Doing normal kid stuff. It's surreal.
  42. [2014-09-24 22:09:51]* Swift_Hurddle smiles, "Ya... it was great"
  43. [2014-09-24 22:10:50]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee trots to Swift_Hurddle's side. "Sometimes it feels like a nightmare. I wish it could all be a fever dream and I would wake up back at the school infirmary."
  44. [2014-09-24 22:12:01]* Swift_Hurddle lowers head, "ya... but I mean it wont be forever, things will get better before long"
  45. [2014-09-24 22:14:23]* Cambiance nods. "It will. I mean, worst case possible, there can only be so many of these infected, right? We just need to outlast them. And then..."
  46. [2014-09-24 22:14:47]* Cambiance flutters her eyelashes. "Repopulate somehow. But that's a long way off. We just need to survive now."
  47. [2014-09-24 22:16:00]* Swift_Hurddle blushes
  48. [2014-09-24 22:16:04]<EchoesOfDeath> Rosebee blushes deeply. "Uh... I didn't think of that."

  50. [2014-09-24 22:17:47]<Cambiance> "But, like I said, unless there's some spooky magic involved, these infected can't last forever. There wouldn't be enough food or whatever they subsist on to last."

  52. [2014-09-24 22:19:34]* Swift_Hurddle is still sweating a bit, coughing into a hoof he nods, "Right... ummm, spooky magic. im sure there are plenty of other servivors out there"

  56. [2014-09-24 22:26:19]* Backlash trots up beside Star_Spotter, letting her apprehension betray her.
  57. [2014-09-24 22:28:51]* Swift_Hurddle glances back, "Oh look, they are back!"
  58. [2014-09-24 22:29:22]<EchoesOfDeath> The guardspony steps ahead. "We are looking for all that are healthy and sane. We have a safe shelter, food and medicine in a real thriving community"
  59. [2014-09-24 22:33:50]<EchoesOfDeath> Star_Spotter isn't sure he is telling everything.
  60. [2014-09-24 22:34:20]* Star_Spotter sighs a bit. "Look if you want us to trust you I expect you to tell the truth, and the whole truth." She says sternly like a teacher talking to a lying student
  61. [2014-09-24 22:44:32]<EchoesOfDeath> The squad looks at each other. The police mare steps ahead. "Alright, bright-eyed propaganda aside, we need ponies to work to rebuild society. It is chaos out here, full of these cursed things and others just waiting to turn. It would be bad enough if we didn't have these rogue enclaves fighting, dying and making it all worse. We can't trust you aren't going to be another one of them so you better come with us."
  62. [2014-09-24 22:48:19]<EchoesOfDeath> It all sounds truthful enough, but the tone of it implies an "or else"
  63. [2014-09-24 22:51:00]* Star_Spotter sighs and nods lightly. "Alright then. We have a group of ponies together." She says pointing to the Barns and Nobell's. "We want as much safety as you can ensure us." She says sternly. "These are my friends and my students. If you need somepony to help with anything, I want you to talk to me, not around me."

  65. [2014-09-24 22:55:26]* Swift_Hurddle peeks over the roof and whispers, "So what do you think they are saying now?"
  66. [2014-09-24 22:55:47]* Cambiance looks on. "I'm not sure. But, no shooting. That's good."
  67. [2014-09-24 22:56:48]* Star_Spotter nods to them. "Yup, I brought the clouds together, remembered something from the last Equestria games, an Archer hit a cloud and brought down a giant ice cloud. I was lucky enough to have ice enchanted ammo so I gave my allies some guns and shot at the cloud until it turned into wel..." She points to the scene. "That."
  68. [2014-09-24 22:59:43]<EchoesOfDeath> "Do we have those on our supplies?" The guard asks the suited pony.
  69. [2014-09-24 23:00:03]<EchoesOfDeath> "I'll check with the Comissioner." He answers
  70. [2014-09-24 23:00:30]* Star_Spotter nods. "So then, what's your names?"
  71. [2014-09-24 23:07:41]<EchoesOfDeath> "I am Finder Peeper." The pony in the suit says. "She is Aegis Tower." He points to the mare. "These are Vesper Lance and Monochrome" He points to the guard and then the pegasus
  72. [2014-09-24 23:08:30]<EchoesOfDeath> "And for the record, I can speak." Vesper says, peeved.
  73. [2014-09-24 23:10:46]* Star_Spotter smirks and winks at the mare. "I hope you speak more." She says with a small giggle. "Anyways, let's go get you all introduced to my group. I'm Star Spotter, that's Backlash."
  74. [2014-09-24 23:12:55]<EchoesOfDeath> "Nice to meet you." Peeper says "In any case, this region is still very unsafe as it is in the urban center, we should gather your group to move." He looks around
  75. [2014-09-24 23:13:19]<EchoesOfDeath> "Tomorrow, right? It's dark. Maybe we should stay with them?" Monochrome asks.
  76. [2014-09-24 23:13:39]* Star_Spotter looks ot Backlash for her opinion
  77. [2014-09-24 23:17:22]<Backlash> "What? Oh - uh, yeah, I don't see why not. ...On one condition. Ya gotta let somepony check you for wounds first."
  78. [2014-09-24 23:19:10]<EchoesOfDeath> "That is no problem." Finder nods. "Should we go to a better location for that?"
  79. [2014-09-24 23:19:39]* Star_Spotter looks around for a 'safe' place
  80. [2014-09-24 23:22:27]<EchoesOfDeath> "We just cleared the entrance of that building." Aegis nods back to the place they came from.
  81. [2014-09-24 23:22:59]* Star_Spotter nods. "We'll do it there."
  82. [2014-09-24 23:23:56]<Backlash> "Sounds good." Her mouth gave an apologetic twitch. "Sorry for the suddenness, I jus' get paranoid about this thing."
  83. [2014-09-24 23:25:35]<EchoesOfDeath> "Yeah, I get it." Monochrome looks around nervously
  84. [2014-09-24 23:27:26]* Star_Spotter offers them to go in first
  85. [2014-09-24 23:27:55]<EchoesOfDeath> The group moves back to where they were, a hairdresser shop.
  86. [2014-09-24 23:28:10]* Backlash holds the door for them with a smile.
  87. [2014-09-24 23:28:37]* Star_Spotter trots on in
  88. [2014-09-24 23:30:36]<EchoesOfDeath> All of them go inside. The Aegis nonchalantly takes off her vest.
  89. [2014-09-24 23:31:59]* Star_Spotter has nothing to hide herself so she's showing fur
  90. [2014-09-24 23:33:35]<Cambiance> "Hmm. Looks like it's going well."
  91. [2014-09-24 23:34:25]* Backlash is also fairly naked - probably a bad thing, considering it's starting to get chilly. She wishes she'd brought her scarf. She starts by examining Aegis.
  92. [2014-09-24 23:35:38]<EchoesOfDeath> Aegis doesn't have anything more than a couple bruises
  93. [2014-09-24 23:36:29]* Backlash gives the mare a smile and turns to her companions. "Who's next?"

  97. [2014-09-24 23:37:29]<EchoesOfDeath> Monochrome and Finder also take off their outfits, but Vesper waits until Aegis puts her vest back before taking off his armor.

  99. [2014-09-24 23:39:09]* Swift_Hurddle has quit (Quit: Page closed)

  101. [2014-09-24 23:40:13]* Star_Spotter nods to them. "Alright then, let's get you all introduced to our group."
