- We have just announced the reduction in supply of MaxCoin, following repeated requests from many of our users in the last 7 days. The changes will become live in one week's time, at block 140000.
- * The current block reward has been halved from 96 to 48
- * The block reward will then continue to halve after each 12 month period. This begins from the genesis block, not from block 140000
- * The minimum block reward will remain 1 MAX
- * The last 50M blocks have been removed, leaving a total of just over 100M MaxCoin (~106M)
