  1. I've come here to save you
  2. >Reflects the intent of the Azure Wyvern to “save” its counterpart, the Scarlet Blaze, from a “rotten world”. This is also reflecting Marina’s obsessive desire to keep those close to her safe, and by this, she partially means killing Draden to spare him the pain.
  3. And I can already taste the kill
  4. >Reflecting the psychotic and unstable bloodthirst, Marina (in her unstable and incomplete Soul Drive) turns both her deranged bloodthirst and her hidden feelings for Draden into a twisted sort of masochism, making this line both an innuendo and a death threat.
  5. Like caressing an angel, burning up in the atmosphere
  6. >Continuing to play off the mixture of love and murderousness, Marina compares Draden to a beautiful angel in the sky, burning in his own flames. This line truly reflects how split and psychotic her mind is in this state.
  7. And with the blood of a dying star above
  8. >Once again comparing Draden to a beautiful object with a psychotic edge and yet another death threat
  9. My true aesthetic’s unwinding, and I’m about to come undone
  10. >Another innuendo, her personality is falling apart and she can barely hang on, but in the thrill of hurting Draden, she compares it to how it feels to “climax”.
  11.
  12. So don't let me become the one you love
  13. 'Cause I'll just take your blood and use you up
  14. >The little sense of rationality within Marina warns Draden not to reciprocate her feelings, or else she’ll one day go crazy and, in ANOTHER innuendo, she’ll “use Draden up”, not unlike a sex toy, reflecting Aegis’s incredibly seductive and lustful personality awakening in her.
  15. I know it’s tempting to jump off the edge and fly, but this is not a dream…
  16. >Knowing full well how Draden secretly wishes to be with her, she snaps him back to reality, presumably to warn him that she’ll kill him if he doesn’t fight back.
  17. So don’t let me become the one you love…
  18. >Once again warning Draden not to love her or else he’ll suffer.
  19. Here I come!
  20. >both warning Draden that she’s attacking, while also being ANOTHER innuendo in that she’s… well, read the lyric and tell me how it sounds in a DIFFERENT context.
