[spoiler=Background]Doran is the son of one of Absalom's most accomplished and long-serving city guards, Terath Quickstep. A veritable legend among his kind, Terath was a staunch defender of peace and justice, arresting many bandits, rogues and criminals in his day. One of Abadar's faithful, the elder Quickstep raised his son as best he could after Doran's mother passed while he was still just a boy. The law was absolute, and adherence to it would guarantee safety and security.

Raised as such, Doran is a bit of a spoilsport. He almost holds the law as a deity, his faith in it nearly as intense as his devotion to the Master of the First Vault. Devoted is another word that describes Doran, as he gives 100% of himself to anything he deems worth the effort. Whether it be tracking down lawbreakers, helping the sick and homeless, or simply practicing his aim, the younger Quickstep will give his absolute all.

Feeling he would never be able to fill his father's shoes in the Absalom city guard, Doran offered his services to the Church of Abadar as a traveling bounty and monster hunter. Protecting villages and settlements against bandits and monsters alike, the young Chelaxian is very dedicated to assisting those in need. Still young and full of ambition, he will do his damnedest to make sure to be worthy of the Quickstep name.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Physical Description]Of average height and build, Doran has always been quick of hand, if not of mind. His dark tan is from many days spent hunting in the wilds, and his hair is cut short and slicked back to keep it from interfering with his aim. He has a mottled birthmark on the palm of his left hand that is shaped like a key.

He prefers to wear dark colors, browns and blacks. His custom-fitted armor was a gift from his father, and he treats it well.

[spoiler=Personality]Doran is best described as "stuffy." He follows rules to the letter, and is not one to be found goofing off. He is highly dedicated to his work as a bounty hunter, and will go to extreme lengths to get his man. His dedication to his work and his no-nonsense demeanor, in addition to his lack of cunning, tends to lead to him rubbing people the wrong way. He is seen as uncaring and far too strict by most.[/spoiler]
