Yup, as I said, not a problem for you, therefore not a problem for everyone else. I don’t have a problem with something for 5-6 years ago. Because, apparently this unethical practice has been restarted. I have a problem with it now and you just reiterated your exact stance from back then.

Give a ticket and move on. Instead, and im quite sure this will get worse as the budget falls deeper and deeper into a hole, you give a ticket and then jack up how much it costs to the car owner by having it towed, thereby making it so that they cant get to work, they have to go to the people at whoever you happened to strike a contract with this time. It’s so damn high people cant afford to get their car out of there at all.

Everything about the towing for street cleaning program feels scammy to virtually everyone but you. What possessed city hall to restart this practice is beyond me and most everyone who discusses this.

I manage to go through each and every week without ever thinking about out.  If you are still bent out of shape by a conversation that occurred like 5 or 6 years ago...  Dude, get a hobby; read a book; take a walk....
If you have an issue with towing, call the Deputy Mayor.  Towing is not my responsibility.

I am diving right in. So, for a New Year's resolution I promised to take some action and I am trying to bring attention to the nighttime towing that goes on in Troy. How many people here have had their cars towed and had to pay a lot of money to get it back? I want to petition the government of Troy to change this towing policy. Ten people have signed my petition - maybe you all would too?
