- Edit 10/16: Early screw attack has been found, but it requires Space Jump. This new route gets space jump after ice missles, then goes to get screw attack, then after gravity you can go straight back to ghavoran and skip frozen artaria completely. This saves a little over a minute, maybe close to 2 minutes with more optimizations and taking into account general timesaves from having space jump.

- -Early Grapple
- -Early Gravity Suit
- -Skipping Space Jump
- There are also some other intended sequence breaks that don't seem to be worth it right now
- -Early Bombs (allows for Kraid quick kill but involves too much backtracking)
- -Early Cross Bombs
- -Early Screw Attack during the Frozen Artaria section
- There have also been a few glitches found so far. The main one is a glitch to shoot through ceilings, knows as "pseudo wave beam". By sliding, jumping out of the slide and shooting against a ceiling, your shot can clip through the ceiling and hit something on the other side. The main uses of this so far are
- -Skipping the first EMMI encounter (the tutorial one)
- -Early Phantom Cloak
- -Skipping Drogyga (the underwater boss in Burenia)
- There's also a glitch to gain more height from a bomb jump underwater than you're supposed to. This can bu used to skip spin boost, though for this run its only used to delay getting spin boost since skipping it is really annoying.
