- RULES

- The only allowed emulator is DeSmuME versions 0.9.10 and 0.9.11. These versions are available for download here: http://desmume.org/download/
- Emulator runs are allowed for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
- Use of any kind of Turbo, Frame Advance/Skip, or Fast Forward feature is entirely DISALLOWED. Use of one of these features will invalidate your run and generally make you a cheater in the eyes of the public, so just don't be a dick, ok? Note that these features are bound to keys by default, so it is REQUIRED that you disable them so that you never accidentally hit the keys when splitting.
- Use of an auto-clicker or external program for simulating key presses or mouse clicks is also DISALLOWED. Same repercussions as above.
- Use of emulator cheats is, as the name would suggest, obviously DISALLOWED. Same repercussions as above.
- IF YOUR FPS SPIKES ABOVE 65 THROUGHOUT THE RUN, YOUR RUN WILL BE INSTANTLY INVALIDATED. This rule is to help counteract frame skipping and fast forwards.
- RTA timing is used.
- RESTRICTIONS
- ------------
- You MUST display the FPS counter on your stream. You may adjust the font and location of it, but it must be clearly readable on stream, so please test your settings before doing your first run.
- You MAY be required to display your inputs if you are suspected of cheating, or if we change our policy in the future. At the moment, however, this is not required for all runners.
- You MAY be required to display your bindings/settings on stream pre- or post-run if you are suspected of cheating, or if we change our policy in the future. At the moment, however, this is not required for all runners.
- You may change the keyboard control layout to whatever you prefer, but you must disable the following controls as they are not possible on the DS controller:
- - Up+Left
- - Up+Right
- - Down+Left
- - Down+Right
- - Debug
- - Allow Right+Left/Up+Down (unchecked)
- Both screens must be visible on stream at all times. Any amount of screen gap is allowed, as well as screen layout. The screens may be any size (and don't have to be the same size), as long as they are BOTH clearly readable.
- It is HIGHLY PREFERRED that you display mouse/mouse clicks when you capture your game on stream.
- RECOMMENDATIONS
- ---------------
- If you have trouble with graphical or audio glitches, contact another runner to see if their settings work for you. Graphical and/or audio glitches can sometimes be indicators of cheating, so it's best to get them fixed before someone accuses you for it. :)
