  1. The theme of this pastebin is stabilization.
  2.
  3. I just completed the 2nd wave of paperwork for the house. I have about 75% of the money saved up for the house without dipping into the emergency savings account. With the emergency savings account, we pretty much have the entire amount.
  4.
  5. I'm mentally more stable since a week and a half ago. I've been resting and getting some things done. I received culinary union insurance recently and was excited when I went to the doctor today with no co-pay.
  6.
  7. This week my parents came into town and we lounged and pigged out on awesome Vegas food. I went hiking with my father on Tuesday and we tried to conquer the hardest trail at Red Rock. The trail isn't bad, it's just a 2500 foot elevation increase. The 2nd half was brutal and I never run or jog, so towards the end I got to a point of wheezing. My father revealed that he had exercise-induced asthma and also that he was a poor runner in school, same as me. So there's a possibility I may have it as well. It's probably why running or jogging has been uncomfortable for me the past 5 years. The following day (wednesday) and since then, I've had varying levels of chest pain. I went to my doctor today and after x-rays, nothing major was determined other than some minor lung inflammation that was very non-life threatening.

  9. One of my coworkers is accepting a catering job and a promotional shift bid has opened as well for a server position my restaurant (union stuff). I could bid on the server shift and potentially make slightly more money. I'd make around 30% more in tips, but my hourly rate would get taxed more, so it may be a break even/wash, since my paychecks are pretty good. The reason why if two of my coworkers leave is good, is because I'm 5/6 on seniority and even if I get bumped to 4, I should be granted 5 night shifts a week. I've been work on and off days and nights and it's brutal. I'm terribly unhappy going into work at 8am or even a 6:30am shift. I usually wake up 1-1.5 hours to prepare for my shift, since you absolutely cannot be late for a union job; or it counts against you. The night shifts are also guaranteed a higher tip pool. I usually make at least double the tips on night shifts. Therefore, I would be fairly financially stable if I got 5 night shifts.
  10.
  11. I unfortunately cannot quit my 2nd job yet. I want to, but I can't. I'm probably not going to work much of it this month, but come January, all our business comes in, big-time. So I'll probably be working my butt off again January and February. I need to accrue around 175 more hours at that job to be granted a $3.30 raise at my new main gig (another union thing). So, it's going to be another 8-10 weeks of work there starting January (I'll still put some hours in December, like 25-40).

  13. The Stream Status
  14.
  15. The plan is to not start streaming again until March (or when I go back down to 1 job). The housing paperwork is very time committing and when I come back, I will come back full force. The plan is the following:
  16. 1. Regular speedruns
  17. 2. Sprinkled playthroughs
  18. 3. Weekly randomizer integration
  19. At least 5 days a week.
  20.
  21. I will not stream until then. I may speedrun some stuff offline, as I don't think I'll have time in March to prepare SGDQ submissions. I just want the stream to be focused instead of starting back spotty.
  22.
  23. Once I'm down to one job, I also plan on re-introducing other dormant hobbies again (music/guitar/bass/singing, photography, focused workouts, monthly or bi-weekly hiking). I also plan on trying out boxing, yoga, and maybe dance lessons.
  24.
  25. Streaming will be a large focus. There will be a push for subs and I will be reaching out for hosts. With a certain number of subs I hope to reach, it would cement a good future for the stream and even more life stabilization. In the mean time, I will be working on back end stuff for the channel, which will take quite an amount of time too.

  27. Thanks for sticking around waiting for me to return for like 14 months everyone. The support I still receive is unreal.
